Steve thought about that for a moment.
"Well... it's hard to nail anything down really. Since I came out of the ice, things have been crazy, and I haven't had time to stop and come up with a hobby or anything. I barely had time to come to terms with the fact that the war was over, and that most of the people I knew were dead or dying, when I was pressganged into a government organisation called the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Espionage and Logistics Division, and asked to be the first member of a task force they were putting together." He laughed briefly.
"Of course, meeting these people was one hell of an experience. I wonder if your timeline is the same as ours, if we exist in your history?"

"Well... do you have the words to describe what exactly this woman did to you that you must now drink blood?" Joanna pressed Faro a little further.

[color=edc393]"That's all I wanted to know, here."[/color] Sam said, shrugging slightly. He then turned around and moved towards a wall, leaning against it with crossed arms.

"Very well. Then I have two more questions." Elm announced after processing the response it had been given, and going over several scenarios. "One, where would yet-to-be requisitioned materials be stored upon collecting. And two, when would we be due to meet this intermediate?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"I guess. Doesn't seem like everyone's gonna do anything else for a while."

Vicky said to Joel as she looked over at where the others seemed to be congregated.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"Well, I'm sure you'll find something." She made a reassuring smile. <color=brown>"As for your special division, I don't remember anything like that in my history. So much will happen in a thousand years. But what part did you play in this division? Were you a soldier or a pilot? You mentioned you were flying a bomber."

"She bit me." Faro said simply. "That's how vampires work. You get bitten by one, and you become one." he continued to explain.

Seras noticed Samus looking confused and stopped laughing. "Oh, you were serious...Sorry. But, I meant when you're not on missions. Or maybe before you became a bounty hunter?" she attempted to clarify.

[color=003399]"It's better than having to constantly deal with people trying to kill us."[/color] Joel replied as he stood up and headed down to the water. [color=003399]"I always heard cats didn't really like the water, though."[/color]

[color=000066]"The materials would be stored in a United Nations warehouse here in Geneva. We will post discreet defences around it, of course. I will make sure our observer will be here within twenty-four hours. If there is nothing else, I thank you for this opportunity. I hope this is the beginning of a prosperous cooperation."[/color]

"I never really went swimming. I was raised by an avian race on a planet with few oceans, and I spend most of my time on uncharted planets or in space constructs."

"Oh, you'd remember us." Steve chuckled. "I was appointed the field commander of this team due to my experience in the war and my old role as a morale booster for the troops. Have you heard of the unique super soldier serum developed during the war by Dr. Abraham Erskine? What about the lone super soldier created using the formula? Captain America? That at least is widely known history here."

Joanna thought this through for a moment. It was a bizarre illness certainly, but from what Faro had explained so far, it didn't sound like a catastrophe.
"How much blood must you take?" She asked, wondering if his answer would reveal the true horror of his condition.

 

[Slenn]

Sara shook her head.
<color=brown>"I'm sorry but I don't. Like many of us in this group, we are from alternate realities or universes. You must be another one of them. Which is probably why you only existed as a comic book character for Mr. Stone."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Uh, not too much...a few pints usually does it." Faro said.

"I see. That's a shame." Seras said.

Steve rubbed his jaw pensively.
"Huh. That's a little disconcerting. Although having said that, I wouldn't blame someone for making a comic of it. The team that I led, the Avengers, was made up of... well, to put it flippantly, in addition to myself, we had a billionaire genius with a suit that could outgun the entire US armed forces combined, an indestructible atomic green rage monster, and the literal Norse God of thunder."

 

[Chungus]

"Very well. There is nothing further, we're agreed to the current terms until the time approaches where negotiations on the dividing of gathered objects arive." Elm responded. "Good day. We'll see ourselves out." With that said, Elm turned around and began hovering to the door.

With the negotiations concluded, Sam pushed off the wall, and stepped to the door, opening it and stepping outside. Once Elm floated out of the room, it waited outside for a moment, expecting the door to close automatically, but eventually pulling it shut when it found this didn't happen. The duo then began making their way out of the building.

[color=edc393]"Well."[/color] Sam began as he walked. [color=edc393]"That was 'exciting'."[/color] He finished, placing obvious sarcastic emphasis on exciting.

"I fail to see how this would qualify as exciting." Elm responded as it hovered along.

Sam was quiet for a moment, glancing towards Elm with a raised eyebrow, then rolled his eyes. [color=edc393]"That wasn't meant seriously."[/color]

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah well I don't really mind it. There some kind of problem with that?"

Vicky followed Joel down to the waterfront.

 

[Slenn]

Sara's face lit up a bit.
<color=brown>"Ah, so you're part of a team of superheroes. That's pretty cool! So you played the part of the super soldier." She clapped her hands a few times. <color=brown>"That's neat."

Steve looked mildly embarrassed at this.
"Well, I don't know that I'd call myself a superhero exactly..."

Joanna wondered if a pint was similar to the measurements used where she came from. If so, then that didn't bode well for anyone that Faro preyed on.
"That sounds very dangerous for whoever the blood comes from... How do you cope? What do you do to keep yourself fed while avoiding hurting other people?" she hesitated, hoping to pursue the next question delicately. "do you avoid it?"

"How so?" Samus asked.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"Is this something you're ashamed of? Or do you not think you've done something that inspires heroism?"
