"Yeah, whatever."
Vicky waded until she was about waist deep in the water. The weight of her prosthetics made the water unable to exert enough force to make her budge at all. She glanced around a bit, then sighed.

Gwen and EMily were currently tossing a ball of water back and forth with electrical and gravity tugs.

"Hey there, Sophia!" EMily called out with a smile. And Winona ran into the water as well.

<color=brown>"You're right that they justify it for those reasons. But they only see it as their personality. Mr. Stone was acting on his own passions and reasoning because he thought it was right. He never reasoned or thought that his line of thinking was different and that makes it okay. Or another way of putting it is: reasoning that your morality code is relative so that no matter what you do with your morality you can't argue against his. Unless I'm not following correctly here." She rubbed her chin.

"H-hi- EMily." Sophia called back to EMily, still judging how she felt in the water. Seeing the ball of water being tossed around actually did make her feel a bit more at home actually, something that some of the water mages back at the college would often do in their initial years as it was a relatively easy way to train. With her feeling a bit more at peace, Sophia finally tried to get some locomotion going, to say her swimming skills were only bad would be a compliment however. If not for the floaties, she'd have definitely sank by now, but she dragged her legs along the ocean floor, she essentially doggy paddled through the water with only her arms. It was slow going but by definition Sophia was swimming.

Winona was already with her sisters since she was a more efficient swimmer.

<color=green>"You're so funny and cute, Sophia." She giggled.

"Sounds like you're doing okay." Matilda said as she followed Sophia.

Joel continued swimming, his body a little lower under the surface than most peoples' bodies would be, due to him weighing more than most people.

"By that logic, attempting to stand up for what's right is a terrible crime in itself, if no one can be trusted to judge others for their actions."

Vicky decided to meander over towards where everyone else seemed to be. The water seemed to not even affect her, as her stride wasn't slower than normal.

"W-What?!" Sophia called back to them as she continued to paddle, eventually turning herself around. As she finally turned the Winona and the others would see even behind Sophia's ferret mask she was blushing quite profusely. "S-Shut up Winona..." She called back to her, her tone just sounding conflicted not exactly appreciating the jeering. When she turned however, she didn't see the wave that had snuck up on her, which promptly crashed down on her. She yelped loudly in surprise, now soaked from head to tail, even though she hadn't stuck her head in the water yet. In retrospect, she was happy she had her goggles on, but the surprise hadn't done her many favours, at least sure was cooler.

"T-thanks Matilda." She squeaked out as she brushed the damp hair away from her eyes.

"Oh hey, is it 'Let's be condescending to the non-human time'? I love that time!"
Vicky sarcastically spat at Winona.

<color=brown>"Calling someone a criminal for making black and white out of an arguably gray area of ethics? I can see someone making that argument. But criminality also requires that there is some area of black and white. What I believe what's right is whatever perpetuates the species and our biosphere on Earth. Natural death isn't wrong at all, but a part of life that must be acknowledged. What's wrong for me is whenever something doesn't make logical sense; when people refuse to see reasoning or logic. At least that's my example."

Joanna took a while to think of an answer to Faro's question. When the answer came, it was far from certain.
"I did not come from Drangleic." She began. "There were more people, for one. It was a prosperous place I think. Perhaps not wealthy, but the nobles were considerate, and the peasantry were content. They may not have had much, but they were hard working, and generally had food to fill their bellies, and disease and discontent were uncommon. The kingdom was called...
She stopped to think, trying to gather her recollection of the place where she had been born and lived much of her life. "It was called... She lowered her head and sighed. "I... I am sorry. I do not really remember it."

Steve took a moment to think of a response to this. All he came out with was a rueful grin.
"See? This is why it was so much easier when I was just fighting Nazis." He glanced out to sea where the others were cavorting. "This kind of talk always makes me want to work out some kinks. Do you swim?"

<color=purple>"Being rude to my sister is not helping. Stop being racially paranoid." Gwen said to Vicky.

Winona swam over to Sophia, looking genuinely sorry. She treaded the water.
<color=green>"Oh, I'm sorry Sophia. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I was only trying to make a small laugh between you and I. You okay?"

"When you feel up to it, start using your legs to kick. You might feel like you'd just sink as soon as your feet come off the ground, but you won't if you can keep moving your arms and legs. Like this." Matilda said, before she began swimming to demonstrate.

Sara chuckled out loud at Steve's comment about Nazis.
<color=brown>"Swimming? Oh absolutely. I love working out. And you?"

"Y-Ya I'm alright. Don't worry." She answered Winona, not showing any signs of contempt to Winona. Both Matilda and Winona being so close would smell the scent of chocolate coming off her. "I-It's just really unnerving doing this." Sophia lamented, heading up the shore a little more so that she could sit on the ground but still be mostly in the water.

When Matilda started to instruct her on what to try next, Sophia watched closely, eventually replying once Matilda's head was clear of the water and able to hear well again. "But i-if my feet aren't touching, how will I know if I swim too far." She protested.

"Well, you won't be able to hear the others, and you can look around to see how far things are." Matilda replied, before swimming back over to Sophia. Catching the argument between Vicky and Gwen, Matilda said, "Sophia, let's try swimming alongside the coast, so we don't get too far from the beach."

<color=purple>"I don't vision myself as a higher level of being than Sophia. So drop it."

"Both of you, chill. This is a time to relax."

<color=green>"I'll help you too, Sophia." She said, catching up to them.
-----

She chuckled.
<color=brown>"While swimming? Well, if you're up for it, you'll have no trouble keeping up with me." She said as she sprinted for the water.
