"Samus told me that some of the endeavours that your group undertakes coincide with some of my own requirements." She replied. "I believe that if I travel with you, I may be able to last here until I can return to the place that I came from. If you make a habit of finding combat, then that might be the case at least."

"Right. Well welcome." Seras said with a bright smile. Joanna would likely notice Seras was heavily clothed, including a wide brimmed hat and sunglasses.

Joanna smiled weakly, but it was more than a little disconcerting to only be able to see reflections of herself where Seras's eyes should have been. She took in the rest of her bizarrely concealing attire, and glanced down at Faro, who was similarly dressed.

"Are you..." She trailed off, wondering if Seras would be offended by her blunt inquiry.

Somewhere in the sea, Steve broke the surface, flicking a veil of sparkling droplets from his face and hair before looking around to see where Sara had gotten to.

"What the hell do you mean breaststroke!? That has to be a joke!" Sophia shouted back, the insanity of such a maneuver was down right silly. "What's the regular person style?"

Seras blinked at Joanna, wondering what she was wondering about. "Yes?" she asked.

"A vampire?" Joanna finished, though she suspected that if she were right, either Seras would have anticipated it or Faro would have given the answer.

OOC: I'm going to have to call it for the night.

Matilda began performing the breaststroke to demonstrate, swimming away from Sophia, then back over to her. [color=006d5b]"Front crawl, probably. It depends on what's easiest for you."[/color] Matilda replied.

Alain stayed and watched the confrontation in the ship earlier, then ate some food after everyone went outside. After he finished eating, he decided to go outside and see what the others were doing. "We're at a beach... on vacation or something?" Alain said to himself as he stepped outside, close enough to Faro, Seras, and Joanna that they could probably hear him. "I need to stop sleeping so much..."

"I kind of have the same feeling." Faro said to Alain. Then he realized he didn't really know who he was, so he turned to him. "Uh, hi I guess. Faro." he said.

Alain was startled at the sound of a voice other than his own, and jumped back a bit, relaxing when he saw who was talking. "Oh, hey. I've seen you around, I think. I'm Alain"

Faro nodded at the man, then looked at his "armor" curiously.

Alain smiled as he noticed Faro looking at his armor. "You like it? I made it all myself. It's pretty awesome, I know."

Faro decided to say nothing, though his look clearly said 'you're crazy.'

"Yeah, all hand crafted, without any training whatsoever. I'm just gifted, I guess." Alain continued, oblivious to Faro's reaction. "I wish I could say the same for this hammer, but it's still special. Only I can wield it, y'know. It's like Mjolnir, for that Thor guy." He said, butchering the pronunciation of Mjolnir.

Finding that her apology to Gwen went completely unnoticed, Victoria threw up her arms and walked off in the opposite direction.

"Why am I even bothering?"

She irritably muttered to herself.

Because Slenn was busy with managing four characters, talking with many people would mean that some conversations would accidentally go unnoticed.

"Yup, I'm a big hero, y'know. I saved one- no, three other worlds before I came here, and I may not have done anything yet but just you wait. Pretty soon, something had will happen and I'll fix everything, beat up the guy who caused the problem, and everyone will know my name!" Alain continued, before he finally noticed Faro's expression. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
