Joel's punch flew true, landing the first blow of the match. The force combined with Kenna pushing herself off made her stumble backwards a bit, rubbing the point of impact tenderly.
Joel stepped forward and swung an uppercut with his right fist, towards Kenna's chin. If this blow were to connect, it would have more weight behind it than a normal human's would.
Joel continued the swing after Kenna had moved, leaving his body open. He was unable to block the hit in time, and ended up doubling over. Joel backed off, raising his fists again.
Alain stood next to Húriel and watched the fight between Kenna and Joel, trying in vain to keep up with what was happening. "I'm not so sure I want to do this anymore..." He said to himself, although Húriel could probably hear.
Húriel crossed her arms and watched the fight intently, furrowing her brow. There is no flow to their movements, it all looks so graceless. She then looked over Alain and laughed. "Perhaps you should face me instead on one of them. I'm just a little elf after all, how dangerous could I be?"
"Uh... maybe?" Alain said, taking a few short steps back as he spoke. "But I mean, I'll have my hammer in a real fight, and even if I'm somehow disarmed I will still have magic. So there's not really a point to this?"
Húriel cocked her head to the side and pondered what Alain said for a moment, then replied. "Perhaps not. Do you wish to use it then? If you pull your swings a little, I'm sure I'd be fine. And I do not need to use a weapon myself, so you'd be safe enough as well."
<color=green>"We might have mentioned to you this before, but yes, ferrets are pets here on Earth."

Sara watched in anticipation as the match continued in the ring. Some of the other body builders were watching it as well, a few of them exclaiming a "Woah!" as Joel's uppercut failed to connect.
Húriel shrugged. "I've counted half a dozen people muttering 'weird' under their breath already, mostly while looking at my ears. I don't think we need to worry." She paused, then spoke again, "I have never heard of such magic before. Don't make it too light, though, or I might not not feel your blows!"
"I remember us talking about them, but not specifically about pets. Too bad Yeul wasn't around anymore." Sophia sadly mentioned, remembering how she'd wanted to show her ferrets before. "But it seems like you're the only one here with any useful knowledge about spas, so do you wanna take the lead on this?" Sophia asked as they finally arrived at the spa.
The building itself was quite large, and looked to be a pretty upscale spa location. It arguably looked even more impressive now than it did on the commercial. Through the windows, they would be able to see the receptionist area and a little farther into the building as well. A well groomed guy appeared to be holding the reception area at the moment.
"Yeah, that magic is the only way I can carry this thing. I was actually the first person to figure out how to make it into a rune. Anyway, I guess we need to wait for the others to finish sparring first?"
"There doesn't seem to be another sparring square, so yes. Might as well use the time to warm up a little." She said, putting down her backpack with a clang. She then drew the two blades she had on her back and placed them next to the backpack. The swords were unusual in design, short and curved with an extra blade instead of a pommel. As she drew them, and a second or two after that, they glowed. One glowed with what can only be described as starlight, the other with a harsh red light. Once she had put them down, the stopped.
Next, she took off her cloak. Beneath it she was wearing brown leather armour with chainmail on the shoulders. She began stretching, and it soon showed that she was as agile as a gymnast.
"Uh, what's with the blades lady?" Tyler asked Hurial as she brought out her magic sword things. He looked quite surprised she was willing to just pull something like those out in the public.
Húriel glanced at Tyler, a tad surprised that he asked now, when she had been walking around with her swords quite visible all day. "They are my weapons. I can't very well wear them while sparring, can I?"
"Guess I just didn't notice. Anyway, you're probably going to want to put those out of sight. Pretty sure it's against the law to carry stuff like that around in the open." Tyler said to Huriel.
