Omega ran over to where the helicopter was. "Don't forget about me!" He waved. Omega drew a portal, as Joe drew one in the helicopter, and Omega hopped in.
Travis continued to kill soldiers but more and more kept showing up faster than he could kill them. "Uh, this isn't looking good here. Time to book it!" Travis grabbed a smoke grenade from a dead soldier and hurled it into the oncoming group, then retreated to the helicopter.
"I think we should leave." Will said. Not waiting for his companions to answer he saw Eragon fighting group of soldiers diligently. He jumped out of the helicopter and ran to him. They killed the soldiers around them then Will grabbed Eragon's arm and brought him to the helicopter. They got in and waited for the others.
Shepard sprinted out of the fog and sprang into the Hammerhead with Garrus, Tali and the two grunts. The door closed and the shuttle took off to a height of 50 feet, before waiting to see that the helicopter made it. Inside, Shepard fingered the dogtags (or whatever variant of dogtags they use) that she had grabbed from Mu before running. She would give them to his team the next time she saw them.
OOC: I'll be off in a moment. A friend is having his 21st tonight, so you know, getting shitfaced and all that...
The Wayward Vagabond see's the helicopters land, and stands to rejoin his companions. A whistle stops him short, and he turns to find a dark figure standing on the fire escape above. The figure flips something into the air, and the Vagabond catches it. No time to discover what tue object is, Wayward Vagabond runs and gets in the chopper.
Travis jumped into the helicopter and took a seat. "Man I'm beat, You guys don't mind if I take a nap do you? Cuz I'm gonna anyway. Try not to wake me unless it's really important." Travis drifted off to sleep, miraculously so considering all the gunfire and explosions.
OOC: I'm out for now. Might be able to get back on later, but I doubt it. Just say you guys wake Travis up and he follows you if you leave the helicopter.
OOC: So is someone going to be piloting this helicopter any time soon?
As Will continued to fire at solider he grew impatient. One solider threw something into the helicopter that landed on Will's lap. He instinctively grabbed the small round thing and through it out, seeing it explode seconds latter. "We really should be leaving gentlemen!" he shouted over the din of battle. As he brought his hand too his rifle he saw his glove was covered in a dark crimson liquid. He looked down and saw a hole in his uniform and the area around it soaked with blood. 'One of those soldiers in the shop must have got me worse than I thought...' "Also...I believe I'm hit." Will said before he slumped forward and fell onto the floor of the helicopter, unconscious.
"Anywhere but here." Mat said, looking down, trying to find the source of the deadly fog. "We don't what him following us. Not until we have a plan to kill it."
The air above New York quickly becomes crowded, as US and Russian jets duke it out, and as the US starts heli-dropping troops and supply's into the city.
Omicron moved over to Will and started taking out bandages, needles, blades, fluids and other such things. "Okay, Joe. You can take colour and make lasers, right?" he asked. Joe nodded enthusiastically. "Good. Take some colour, make a laser and make it really, REALLY hot, then run it inside the bullet wound."
