Amaya nodded towards the stick man, thanking him. she felt something in her pocket and pulled it out. It was a golden H inscibed on a scroll. She opened it up and it was a Hero's manifest. "I guess i'm supposed to be a hero." she mumbled to herself.

Urai awoke after about an hour, and peered out the front window. They were traveling down a river towards an island with huge vents spewing smoke. "I take it that this is our destination, Mr. Preginald?"
"Indeed it is Mr. Urai, but we'll need to get out and approach stealthily. I doubt they'd just give us some nuclear rods if we asked nicely, so I was planning on sneaking in and locating where they keep them. Then we can signal the workers I brought with me to load the rods into the hover-bus."

We got through the fence with relative ease, and I motioned to Swiftrunner to follow me to the airfield. Luckily no planes took off as we went, and in a few minutes we reached the airfield. Crouching in a hangar, I pointed out on of the planes.
"See that aircraft? The one with a spinning blade on each wing? We're taking that. It should carry your weight, and have the range that we'll need. I'm going to do as many of the pre-flight checks as I know, and fuel it up. You keep watch, and if anyone comes, get rid of them . Scare the hell out of them if necessary, but try not to kill them, they don't deserve death."

Joel entered into the main area of the plane, following Joe's voice. "Have you been paying attention at all? The human and the wolf are going to Africa, the bird-man is heading for Three-Mile Island and we're LEAVING Ireland for Iceland, except Matt who we're leaving in Massachusetts so he doesn't die violently. God... it's like Matt when he started working at the concession stand again." He rubbed his forehead and reached out his other paw to the other man. "Pleased to meet you Alek. Joel Calley."
"Lets go for the nearest tower. I'll move quickly using my cloak, and see if it's truly abandoned. The area is bathed in radiation, so there won't be any actual guards, but there may be remote surveillance."
The prospect of not killing off put Swiftrunner slightly but he knew this was a time of discretion. He contented himself to keep watch with sight, sound and smell.
"Well, your Stormwalker mech thing looks pretty decent. Does it fit three comfortably and four with some ease but two will have to wrap themselves around each other?" Joel asked, hoping for a yes.
