Instinctively half crouching, I rushed across to the aircraft. Quickyl, but carefully, I removed the covers and untied the plane, tested the movement of the ailerons, elevators and rudder, checked the fuel tanks for water, pumped the tanks full, which took over 20 minutes, and after fumbling with the wires behind the control panel for several more pain-staking minutes, I managed to start up the start up the engine. A quick check to ensure that all the the lights and displays were working, and finally we were as ready as we were ever going to be. I waved to Swiftrunner to call him over.

Character sheet time!

My characters are from the game "Drakengard" so their sheets might have spoilers therein. You have been warned
[http://drakengard.wikia.com/index.php?title=Caim&image=Dg-caim1-jpg]
Name: Caim
Age: 23
Weight: Unspecified
Alignment: Chaotic neutral; with occasional tendencies from both good and evil
Species: Human, with a pact (Will be explained)
Job: None, specifically, he fights, but that's about it
Weapon: His sword, pictured above. It was his father's and he has a huge attachment to it. It is able to release 3 large fireballs, and Caim can use it to create a small sonic blast of sorts around him.
Powers:
- Able to use just about any weapon that falls into his hands, but prefers his sword
- Extremely high endurance
- Really good jump (He can jump up to his dragon, while she's flying, for pete's sake. Granted, she needs to stay still for it to work properly)
- Has an emphatic link with the dragon
- Able to do a sonic charge attack (needs buildup from Caim running towards enemy, and distance in order for Caim to gain the speed to perform it)
-- Varient of Charge attack: instead of using the charge to stab something, Caim can jump and bring his sword down to create a sonic blow, which can easily knock back enemies
Personality: Caim is a very blunt, surly and quiet individual. He always appears to have a scowl on his face, or at least a frown. He doesn't open up to many individuals, and he trusts even fewer. Caim loves to battle, and enjoys the thrill of cutting down his enemies. He doesn't take sides often, and will be fiercely loyal to those who gain his trust. He hates dragons for the most part, but will soften wherever his dragon is concerned. Seriously, don't fuck with the dragon.
Quirk Caim often points his sword at people when acknowledging them. Whether or not it is a threat, is up to his mood
Bio: Caim used to be the prince of a small kingdom, and lived a happy life with his sister and his best friend. Unfortunately, that kingdom was attacked by an Empire that was on the rise in his world. Black dragons slaughtered his father and mother, fueling Caim's rage for both fighting the Empire and hating dragons in general.

Caim eventually joined the Union army, his world's defense against the Empire, in an attempt to protect his sister. As a twist of fate, Caim would be greatly wounded and encounter a dying dragoness.
In his world, Caim was able to perform a magical procedure known as a 'pact'. A 'pact' a human and a magical creature literally pull their hearts from their chests and fuse them together. After this pact, a human is able to live for enormous amounts of time, and become extremely strong. But, there is a price. In Caim's pact, he lost his voice as a result for the power (and the saving of his life). The pact is marked on his tongue, as a sigil tattoo of sorts.

Continuing onward, Caim used this power to attempt to save his sister, who was made into a being known as a Goddess, and thus charged with holding the world in order. This made her a target for the Empire's machinations, and was murdered. As a result, Caim's world was broken, and devilish beings begin to rise. In more grief and rage, Caim has no more motivations but to kill and destroy the Empire. It is at this point Caim will enter the RP.

The Red Dragon
Name: Angelus (Known only by Caim)
Age: 10,000 (approximately)
Weight: Unspecified
Alignment: Neutral; with Good tendencies
Species: Red Dragon; the word wyvern applies very well here
Job: Caim's steed, battle partner, translator and conscious
Weapon: She's a dragon, everything about her is a weapon
Powers: As per the pact, Angelus has become far stronger than a typical dragon from her world. This of has increased her natural capabilities of fire-breathing, flight and size.
- Can breathe up to 8 small homing fireballs or a single large powerful fireball. After firing all of the homing fireballs, Angelus must wait a few seconds before she can fire them again. Also, she cannot fire the homing fireballs and the single fire ball at the same time.
- Amazing flying maneuverability. No dragon from her world can match her. She can pull 180 turns with no problem, and has excellent dodging abilities
- Emphatic link with Caim
- When enough energy is built up, she can choose to do one of two special attacks. The first is that she fires a HUGE volley of magical energy based missiles at her enemies. These are almost impossible to dodge and hurt like a *****. The second is a constant stream of fire, along with some meteors, that covers a large plain of attack. Anyone on the ground should watch out.
Personality: The dragon isn't very friendly either, but she has a greater ear for mercy than Caim. She doesn't like humans very much, but she has grown to endure them. She is extremely intelligent and has a great amount of patience, especially in wake of Caim's destructive tendencies. She often fusses about his want of blood, but he tends to pay her no mind. The two often mock one another, but in the end, the two trust each other with an intimacy no other set of pact partners have been recorded having. She cares for Caim, she just has a problem with his murder rampages.
On another note, Angelus often has to speak on Caim's behalf, due to his being mute. However, one should note that Angelus often sugarcoats some of what Caim has to say.
Bio: Not much is known about Angelus. No one particuarly knows what she was doing being imprisoned by the Empire, or how she even got there. She's not saying. Anyways, in the time Angelus has spent with Caim, Angelus has figured this out: Caim loves murder, humans are still idiotic creatures, and that Angelus actually gives a damn about the human. The two are extremely close from their times and tribulations together, but the two would never admit it. Despite his murdering antics, Angelus is actually happy she chose Caim to pact with. He is more than capable of handling himself, and that is enough.

Better view of her current appearance (around :53 ish, she shows up. Also, the old woman voice is her speaking):

"Well you know more about being stealthy than I do, so I'll follow your lead Mr. Urai. If there is any remote surveillance then I'll look for a control room and see if we can make their cameras take out some of the guesswork."

Swiftrunner rushed over to Micheal. "Is it time?" he asked before the sound of footsteps nearby pricked his ears "If you do not wish death on these -snarl- people then we should leave now!"

Urai didn't see any cameras or surveillance of any type. "Nothing, I think they left when it started leaking radiation." This was reminding him of his time in the Consortium-scouting ahead into dangerous areas using his cloaking generator. A thought struck Urai on whether Preginald would be flexible enough on his morals to work with the Consortium. Then he realized that the Consortium was extremely lucrative, so most likely yes, he'd talk to him about it on the way back.

"As you wish." Quickly I taxied the plane out onto the runway and lined it up for takeoff.

"Hang onto your ass." And with that I pushed the pedal to full throttle.

To simplify, we'll just be on the plane approaching Iceland, sound good?
OOC: lets run with that. seeing as Urai and the DS have reached 3-Mile Island, why don't we say we're at an airport in MA. just after Matt leaves us. and the plane is totally empty of passengers, and the flight crew are completely unaware we exist (pretty much what Joel and Matt's powers are (manipulating the world in small ways, here they change the flight's status to cancelled), except making balls of energy).

"I've done nothing but good for my village. I killed my own sister to stop a war. you are nothing like me." Amaya said.
She then spoke in a low whisper. "Amaterasu..." Then the back flames raced towards rugal, from his now burning chopper.

"I should make a point of visiting Amerika more, sometime." Alek thought aloud. The plane was fascinating, the engineering, superb. It was like nothing he'd ever seen before. Somehow, here, wherever "here" was, had perfected the idea of flight for the masses. Alek had only ever flown a handful of times himself, albeit in high-class Austrian zepplins. He wondered what other mechanikal marvels this world had that his own didn't...

Swiftrunner roared as the machine began to move, it vaguely reminded him of what little of his humanity he could remember and he had only briefly been on boats. This was similair to boats only massivley faster. "The sky is for birds and dragons, not wolves!" roaring once again in discomfort...he didn't like a foe he couldn't see or fight and so dug his claws into the interior of the machine.

Rugal gave an determined stare at Amaya.
"Fine! you want proof of my cause!?...THEN SO BE IT!"
He held his arms out and let the Black Fire engulf him.
His face was filled with pain and he groaned loudly as a result.

Joel lounged back in his seat, his bag of guns next to him and the trench coat Matt had given him the Christmas after they met, the moment he'd felt love, lying on top of it (OOC just a little back-story about my profile picture). Joe was asking for peanuts, and the Flight Attendant obliged, completely zoned out and under Joel's control. "When we get to Iceland, where are we going? Where is this 'adamantium' shit?" Joel asked, lighting up a spliff. "Isn't that the crap that Wolverine has on his bones?"

"Alek why are you saying America funny, why the extra emphasis on the "c"" Joe pondered.

"Erm, well" Joe pulls out a chalkboard, bubble pipe, and a pair of oversized glasses.

"Adamantium is a fabled incredible strong alloy that is often used in fiction. It is harder than diamond and basically indestructible."

OOC: I'm quite amused by the way Alek, Joel, Matt and Joe managed to lay over in an American airport on the route from Ireland to Iceland.

Once we reached a suitable height, I levelled the plane out.

"Those will be some seriously pissed off pilots we just left behind. Good thing the Air Corps doesn't have armed aircraft." I glanced over at Swiftrunner. "There should be a set of headphones in the compartment in front of you. If you can fit them over your ears, they'll muffle the sound. One advantage of flying commercial is that its a lot quieter. "

Alek had heard the word "Adamantium" before. "It's a metal, extremely rare." He said. "It's also very strong, nigh indestructible." That lead itself to some thought. He would need to take some, if he could. Alek was puzzled, there was no "c" in Amerika. What was the cat talking about?
