The Normandy was rocked by a wave of flak as it flew around the base, but Joker weaved expertly through it, the kinetic barriers soaking up any fire that he couldn't avoid.
The Mako's tires screeched, and then the tank roared forward out of the cargo bay door, followed closely by the Hammeread shuttle which hurtled overhead carrying its fighters to the third destination. The Mako's thrusters flared into life and it crashed down on the baked earth. Immediately the anti personnel weapons starting blasting craters into the ground around it, but the Mako turned and charged through the clouds of dust. A shell went off right in front, but it ploughed through regardless, its kinetic barrier shimmering, and its main gun spitting deadly blocks of metal at supersonic speeds.
The shuttle landed and Garrus sprung out, before charging straigt for Preginald's Model 1s. They opened fire but Garrus ran on, returning fire with a Revenant Light machine gun. The rest of the team threw themselves into the tempest behind him, firing slugs and biotic blasts.

As the Eldar began advancing on the base a portal opened above their position. Mechanical arms flew out and crushed several Eldar. after the arms were in place the final part of the robot exited the portal and began firing lasers into the Eldar ranks. "Ohohoho! Excellent verk Model tvelve, zey never saw us comink!" A Model 7 said from atop the giant robot. "Killing efficiency at optimal levels. Victory predicted as: imminent" the giant robot said.
It shoots lasers from its eye and crushes things. That's honestly all you need to know about the Model 12.
Model 7 are the melee shock troopers of Preginald's army. Their armor is designed to deflect any projectiles shot at them so they can effectively get into melee range of the enemy.

OOC: I'm thinking I'll need some cannon fodder for this battle, so both the Normandy and the Hammerhead will drop off a team of Alliance marines with the others.

Xanis rallied the Guardians and maneavered them around the great machine, firing their Shuriken Catapults at even the smallest flaw in the armour that their helmets detected. Xanis continued to swiftly direct the Guardians around attack while Rakanis warped onto the back of the model 12, tearing a hole with his power blades and jamming a haywire grenade into it and warping to the smaller robot who was atop the machine. He detonated the charges, rippling the model 12 with synaptic shocks which disabled the machine for a brief time as he attacked the model 7 with his dual power blades. The Guardians, Banshees, the Shuriken cannon and Xanis had slipped past the Model 12 and approached the great dome, preparing to breach. Draug drew a lock count of 145 Krak missles across the front two legs of the model 12 and fired, the missles spiralling before connecting with a loud roar, coupled with the disabling haywire bombs the two arms were ruined. The Wraithguard couldn't fire upon the model 12 while Rakanis dueled atop it and so slowly made its way past it to the breach Xanis was preparing.
Dromaeus stood in the doorway, his hand gripping the side tightly. He held Ysgramor in his left hand.
"This is madness!" He screamed at Knife as the Normandy rocked, and explosions and bullets filled the air with a deafening cacaphony. The ship slowed and flew close enough to the ground that Team 4 could jump out without being injured. Below, Garrus and his team cut down the front line of Model 1s before smashing into them and laying in with shotguns and close combat attacks. Shepard's team hurtled towards the base in the Mako, unhindered by the heavy fire.

As Renlen went to aim the DBR at one of the werewolves heading for the lighthouse shaped building, he and GS were suddenly enveloped in a glowing green light. "WHAT THE-" he thought as the battle disappeared from in front of him and he felt like he was falling. But almost as quickly it had appeared around him, the light disappeared. He was now standing on the beach in the midst of the battle with confusion written plainly on his face, a sparking DBR in his hands and a dazed GS. Taking a moment to shake his head and clear the sickening feeling of falling, Renlen took a look around to take stock of his surroundings. He could see Joel and the Joes assualting Rugal with everything they had. "Well... I might as well try and make a contribution." is what he thought as he raised the scope of the DBR to his eye and took aim at Rugal. However when he pulled the trigger rather than launching a bullet at an insanely high velocity via dimensional rips, the DBR dimension chip was overloaded by the energy from earlier and suddenly created a transdimensional portal through time and space which sucked both Renlen and GS through. "Oh great. Whoop de fucking doo. What a great end to an amazing day." he thought sarcastically as the portal closed and a single bullet fell into the sand. The only indication that Renlen had been standing there moments before.
Present: The Webways
Due to the transdimensional portal being like a doorway, in the sense it takes practically seconds to cross through, Renlen and GS were almost immediately ejected from the Chaos space that they had been floating around in and had arrived in the middle of what appeared to be an electrical storm. "Oh, this is perfect." he thought. "I'm literally out of the frying pan and into the fire now. I bet I'm in some sort of spacial anomaly and it's just taking its sweet time to rip me to shreds. Existence. It always has to be a ***** to me doesn't it?" However nothing much happened after a few seconds, so a confused Renlen stood up with the DBR slung over his shoulder and GS in his hands. He paused as he thought what he should, nay could do now.
"Heavy damage taken. Initiating destructive counter-measures." The Model 7 was cackling at delight upon hearing the Model 12 say those words. "Initiate the Energy Pistons!"

As Model 12 fell to the ground with two arms disabled it fired a massive ray of incredibly powerful energy. The ray tore through the Eldar shuriken cannon and created a massive fissure in the ground wherever it struck. As it hit the ground Model 12 began wildly swinging its four good arms at the Eldar. Model 7 was tossed from the top with Rakanis as Model 12 hit the ground.
As Garrus and his team broke through the Model 1s, Model 8s began exiting the base and firing explosive plasma bolts at the assaulting forces.

OOC: I've literally only got like 14 Eldar attacking: 11 Guardians (down to 7 now) 1 Dark Reaper, 1 Ranger, 1 Warlock, 2 Banshees, 1 Warpspider Exarch, a Wraith Guard and a Shuriken Cannon grav platform. Eldar rarely use ranks they constantly move a shift position dancing like leaves in the wind before striking with the fury of a storm.
Rakanis warped into a standing position and faced the model 7, gesturing for Draug to catch up with Xanis who had now breached the base and was fighting close action in the corridors. Were the defenders to target the Guardians they were cut down by Xanis and the Banshees and when the targeted the melee fighters the Guardians swiftly cut them down in a hail of Shuriken fire. Rakanis said "Come I've had my hunt denied long enough"
The Harlequin was traveling the Webway to assist her kin as she sensed their peril when she felt a peculiar shift in the Webway. What could breach the Webway she thought, slipping through the side passages only the Harlequins know of and looking at the figure that had seemed to have breached the Webway. She started to walk towards the figure, her brightly coloured outfit stood out in the Blueish white of the Webway tunnels. "Mon-Keigh, you seem lost." She said to the figure.

"Didn't even get through my shields." He quipped. At that moment a plasma bolt zipped by his face and kicked up a gout of pulverised earth.
" Oh shit, SCATTER!" he called and the team broke formation to make themselves harder targets. A marine turned and opened fire on the Model 8s, only to be hit by a plasma bolt and smashed to bloody pieces.
Shepard saw the heavy robots assault the other team.
"Shit, we have to help them." The tank slowed and the turret turned to face them. It fired a shot which travelled over almost 1.5km before striking a Model 8, ripping away everything above its waist.
"Fun? It looks like Oblivion!" At that moment, the other members of Team 4 began to jump, and he hissed.
"By the Divines, I'll be damned if this world will remember the Dovahkiin as a trembling milk drinker!" Dromaeus threw himself from the doorway and hit the ground rolling, befor getting to his feet and drawing his sword. He uttered a great battle cry, and charged.
OOC: The Normandy will only need him if you're planning on bringing in your invincible super mech. Nevertheless, have him join the battle. The forces on the ground are pretty badly outnumbered.

Xanis had cleared a room and all the Eldar had assembled within. He had lost several Guardians but was determined to press on. Ulthwe had promised support but Xanis had yet to hear word of it. The Wraithlord kept watch outside when the shimmering field of spirits that it called vision grew darker. It remembered Chaos well and prepared to fire its D-cannon once the foes were in range. Xanis felt the shift in the air, the others could deal with Preginald as Chaos was by far the greater threat. "Chaos forces, make ready to sheathe your blades in tainted blood" He said as he led his small force back outside to confront the horde.
Rakanis warped out of the way of a swing of the model 7, appearing behind him and driving his power blades into the machine and lifting it off the ground before tossing it to the side. He sneered with contempt "Not worthy of a hunt." He said before noticing the approaching Chaos horde and Warping to join with the now outside Xanis.
Xanis looked at the horde and thought that this is where his path would end and prepared to take thousands with him if that was the case.

Vincent heard the explosions and gunfire and decided to find the fight. He walked around, and came across Knife. "You should have phoned first." he said.
