OOC: Ok, with Drakmorg gone and Spudevil here, I'm going to say that there were only 4 Model 8s attacking Garrus.

The three remaining Model 8s spun to see where the shell had come from, and Thane seized his chance. He leapt at one of the robots, clinging to its waist. It swung at him, but he lurched to one side, avoiding it, and grabbed its arm. It flailed the limb, trying to remove him, but he clung on tightly, before leaping onto its shoulders, where he planted a limpet mine before jumping clear. Jack blasted another Model 8 with a shockwave, tripping it up, and Samara leapt onto its chest before blasting it in the face with a powerful biotic singularity that riped the machinery inside its head apart. The Mako demolished the last robot with another shell just as the limpet mine claimed its victim, then they turned as one to face the Chaos army.

Dromaeus charged at the Chaos lines from one side. As his target turned to see him he jumped up, thrusting with his blade as he had done with Eragon, and speared the creature through the eye socket of its helmet. As it fell, he landed in a crouch, instantly becoming invisible.

As a contingent of Chaos came at the Eldar their weapons opened up. Shuriken Catapults made a mockery of the armour and sliced through it, the storm of blades released by the assembled Guardians tearing through scores of the primitive warriors. Draug bought his Reaper Launcher to bear firing Plasma missles into the horde at an astonishing rate throwing gouts of incandecent flame into the air as he blew the dark warriors apart. Rakanis' Deathspinner whired to life, the monofilament net stream caught warriors who then preceded to fall apart in bloody chunks. Xanis and the Banshee's fired their Shuriken pistols at the horde, supplementing the Guardians. When the Wraithguard fired it destroyed many of the foe and the Eldar's combined wall of fire seemed to be holding the horde back.

Arado was confused as to how he wound up here but it didn't matter he saw a small super robot land with dragon's on it's arm's and decided to kick the WildWurger into top gear

To demonstrate his point, Knife cuts off the legs of the robot, then stabs it in the chest repeatedly.

"What?!" Altron pulled back boosted into the air. A strange blue and white Gundam-like mech was firing at him.

This must be the anomaly... Altron charged head on to the enemy, slashing at it with the Twin Beam Trident.

Arado dodged the attack with relative ease then opened an open com channel

Altron launched both twin dragon heads, one coming from each side.

Dromaeus focused on another Chaos warrior, driving his sword tip into the back of his knee before dragging him down and laying into him. Garrus and his team formed a line and opened fire, their slugs tearing through black armour. A shell from the Mako carved a great line of gore through the Chaos forces.

Firing a few rounds from the Vulcan helmet, Wufei pushed the obnoxious mech away.

Even if the Eldar could hold out forever it would serve no purpose but they had little choice until Xanis recieved a comm-signal. "Falcon Grav Tank en route to your location, Warlock hold firm. We will get you out." Xanis acknowledged the comm signal and informed his warriors who fought on with increased fervour.

OOC: It takes ages for Eldar weapons to run out of ammo. In the ammunition chamber is a solid block of Plasti crystal and when the gun fires a physcic impulse chips an monomolecular blade off the the block and proppels it at great speed and rate of fire is staggering its something like 300 or so shurikens a second.

OOC: Shepard is in the Mako. Garrus is leading the team on foot.
Samara threw up a biotic barrier in front of the team, defending them fron the worst of the flames. A moment later Thane burst through, running at the Herald. He swung at him, but Thane slid between his legs, delivering a palm strike up under his chainmail tunic. The Herald doubled over, and Thane leapt onto his back.

OOC: Mass accelerator weapons are similar. Each slug is a thin shaving from a block of metal in the gun that can supply tens of thousands of rounds. Its heat buildup thats the problem, so the thermal clip has to be switched out. Thats my biggest problem with ME2. Why did they downgrade the weapons into something that had to be reloaded? I liked the Sniper rifles when they could keep firing at a slow,steady rate.
