He crushed the radio in his claw and discarded the rubble then returned his attention to the new commotion that had kicked off in the now ruined tower.

I was starting to get impatient. The longer I had to hold onto Renlen, the more likely he was to try something.

Joel sped through the streets, and flicked on his earpiece. "Joseph. Turn on the radio's speaker function." he said, turning into the parking garage he'd spotted Alek entering.
"ALEK! Yeah, I'm still connected to your radio! We need to talk!"

OOC: The hotel was originally supposed to be miles away from Tokyo, but people kept getting their in seconds so now it's on the outskirts. Also, he's driving at speed, running reds and weaving through cars.

With Joel speeding away, Renlen sighed a little. At least there was going to be some peace and quiet for a bit. He commanded GS to stop melting the lock and looked at the strange 2D man who appeared to be the most sane one in this group. Renlen flicked his eyes between the man and the door, hoping he got the message.

I had an idea, hoping to convince the belligerent mute that despite everything, we weren't the bad guys.

"It might interest you to know that you were right about the werewolf. He did betray us after all. I thought that he was a creature who understood honour, chivalry. Turns out I was wrong."

Through Renlen's gesture Joe figured he wanted to go through the door.

"That's why they make doors with handles, you didn't know that?" He walks over to the door and opens it for Renlen, "See easy" *Joe smiles a big goofy smile*

Alek heard Joel's voice blare over the radio. It was frustrating how Joel seemed to be around at precisely the wrong time, Alek considered, shutting down the radio. Well, let Joel come, he certainly wasn't leaving.

Joel listened. "JOE! Focus. Speaker, so the others can hear me." Joel said as he stalked Alek through the garage.

Pausing at his apparently failing attempts to get the 2D man to open the door, Renlen listened to what his captor had to say. "Interesting." he thought "It's apparent that Joel is terrible at keeping people working together." He then proceeded with renewed effort to get the 2D man's attention before the guy holding the Kukri flipped like the beast man.

Delighted at the Stickman finally cottoning on to what he wanted done, GS floated into the room. Renlen then 'said' via audio "I do believe we are in a predicament, gentlemen. Your leader appears to be a fuckwit who certainly has no clue what it is he is doing. Nice to meet you again, man with kukri. Though if it won't trouble you too much can you lighten up on how close the blade is. I hardly want to be made mute again."

Swiftrunner scaled the side of the building to better hear what was being said, he stopped and clung by and open window and tried to discern what he could from those that remained in the building.

Not Joel's crappy little first name and run off to save his ass stick. My name is Renlen Deadeye, dimensional explorer and certified technological expert in machines and weaponary. And you are?"

"Ok ok... jeez..." draws a speaker next to the radio on the page. "Ok, go for it."

"By the way Renlen, what's that thing there?" Points to the GS that is floating in the air."

Joel growled. "Joe, please tell Renlen that I CAN HEAR HIM! Alek, I'm going to count to 1. Then I'm going to plant Semtex, leave, and detonate it. So it'll be goodbye stormwalker. And you. Okay? One." Joel pulled out a block of Semtex from his cloak, and split it into four. He walked around the bottom floor, placing the quarters on the corner pillars, before leaving and climbing onto his bike. "Alek, you have three minutes before boomboom." Joel turned his bike, and sped back to the hotel.
