Rozalin sighed, the matter of Balthier now completely out of her hands. She walked back to her room and climbed into bed.

And then Yukimaru went to bed as well.

Eve looked confused. "What kid?" she asked as she stood out of bed and stretched her aching back. She decided to go check on Bullet before seeing what Rex was talking about.

In the between her sobs the girl made an audible "Hmph." at Rex tapping her gauntlets and pulled her hands back.

"NO! No, you stupid idiotic bastard, we need you! You can't run from this! You can't leave us a man down!" Bryce started tearing up. "You were Caesar's kid, goddamnit... He shouldn't have to see his daughter dead like this. He shouldn't need to bury her! Fight, you bastard, fight! If you won't fight for yourself, fight for her!" Bryce was crying openly now, pounding on Balthiers chest without any reasoning. "You're better then this goddammit..." he eventually slowed to intermittent sobs, knees pulled to his chest.

OoC @Nail Did I like him? Theres a damn reason Bryce tried to give him the armcomp, it was to try and make him live. I'm genuinley sad he's dead. Like, seriously broken up.

Rex simply smiles at the catgirl and discontinues his poking. [color=008888] "Good to see you're at least reacting to things. I'd rather chat with you than deal with the whole silence thing." [/color]

Yukino ignores York and goes to her room, deflecting whatever traps were set in there, and sleeps.

Anyways, not much else I can do today, so I'll be off to bed.

Eve after checking on Bullet finds that she's covered in bruises and feels deathly cold. She attempts some simple first aid and gently covers Bullet in a few blankets before approaching Rex and asking "Is this the kid? Whats her name?" after seeing who was sat in the chair.

The girl was only sniffing and hmphing now with an occasional whimper. "I don't want to. I want to be let go." she muttered.

Rex nods toward Eve. [color=008888] "Don't know her name. And she's staying silent about it. Stay back, she's got claws on her." [/color]

Rex turns back to the girl. [color=008888] "You know I can't do that, kid. Stop your bitching." [/color]

Bryce pulls himself up, body caked in Balthier's blood. He reaches down and picks up the body, carrying it into the infirmary. "I need-" he managed to gwt out before collapsing, breaking down into hiccuping sobs, after each wave trying to calm himself, only for more to come. He eventually just crammed his hand into his mouth and bit down, pulling himself back. "I need help burying Balthier."

 

[TilMorrow]

OOC: @Dot: Well if you want to be excessively violent and give Eve a bad opinion of Rex, sure. There are always perfectly good cells to chuck her into.

The girl went back to the silence of sniffing and hmphing.

"Well maybe you're being a bit too aggressive in asking?" queried Eve when she saw Bryce come into the Infirmary. "Bryce..." she saw that he was covered in blood and carrying Balthier. "What happened? W-what do you mean you need help burying Balthier?" she asked with a look of shock setting on her face.

Rex looks at Balthier's body and nods solemnly. [color=008888] "He said he was an Air Pirate. It's only fitting that we let him rest on an airship like this one. I'm not sure where we'd put him, but I'm sure you guys will find a place. But until then, I'll take our stowaway here into a cell for the night." [/color] Rex takes the girl by her bound hands and walks her into a cell.
He quickly shuts the door and locks it afterward. Then, he walks back to Bryce and helps carry the body.

OoC: And Rex will help with the burial, then go to sleep. Night.

"I just can't do this alone. Bal... Balthier got shot by the robot. I don't know how it was brought back online..." Bryce looked down. "I'm sorry, I just can't do this tonight. I can't. I think I need to lie down." Bryce walks to one of the empty beds and places Balthier on it. He walks over to Eve, hugs her, then turns and grabs the farthest away empty bed from Balthier. Anyone who got close would hear quiet crying.
OoC: Okay, I need rest for tomorrow, so night all.

The girl eventually falls asleep in the cell after muttering for awhile.

Eve accepts Bryce hug and watches him go and sleep on the furthest cot from Balthier. She then hears faint crying and decides that Bryce would need some time alone to mourn the loss of his friend. Grabbing her helmet, Eve made her way to the deck and looked over it's freshly dented surface. Finding an area of deck that didn't look like it would collapse, Eve sat down and watched the night sky before eventually drifting off to sleep.

The Disciple had floated over Figaro Castle for some time and finally determined that it's existence would be momentarily prolonged further as it posed no immediate call to her. She looked over the desert wastes as if she could visibly smell her prey. She approached the edge of the dune basin that Travesty was set in and released two black shadows into the sand which quickly reformed into wraith-like beings wearing the sand as cloth garb. She wordlessly commanded them before they set off into the desert. She then raised her arms as the sand began spinning around her and being effected by her grim power until it formed a large black hurricane from which the screams of the dead could be heard and tendrils occasionally shot and at it's centre was her. The Disciple then set off in the same direction as the Sand Wraiths.

OOC: Now for me to bid adieu and go for the sleeps.
