Savranth placed his sword on his back and imagined several imps dancing about the room. Fireballs appeared in both of his hands as he started throwing them with incredible speed hitting each target on the mark in a small burst of flames.

All around the grounds there were students walking about, socializing, or studying in groups.

Rica could be seen practicing controlling a small whirlwind.

The Rookie may hear several creaking sounds as the trees about him move as though in the wind, but he feels no breeze.

OOC: @Kirke. What's Rookie looing for in the forest? Because my character might catch up to him since the forest is inbetween him and his destination.

Walking into the college courtyards, Noel saw Charlotte looking rather lost as she walked over to her. "The hell you been?"

"Doing stuff."

"Moonlighting? What are you, Batman?" Noel simply chuckled as she started practicing her gun katas again (no guns in hand though)

(To the Rookie: Hey! Trooper! Thank the gods someone found me!)
The Rookie looked around, then knocked on his helmet.
(To the Rookie: I'm the hat. Tophat's the name.)
The Rookie looked at the hat with disbelief, poking it slightly. He then felt an odd sensation as Tophat looked through his knowledge of the world.
(To the Rookie: You're not from around here either eh? Tell you what: Take me with you, and I'll help you find a way home.)
The Rookie nodded, then brought up his map on the VISR, flashing the current objective.
(To the Rookie: Taking out a military camp? That's a tall order. We can't do it alone.)
The Rookie shrugged and put Tophat in his rucksack.
(To the Rookie: Why don't we go back to the college and wait for that group that's going to help you?
I could probably glean some knowledge from the professors about getting us home.)
The Rookie hesitated, then nodded. He set off back towards Winterhorn.
OoC: @Slenn The Rookie was heading south, towards a military camp. He's going back towards Winterhorn now though.

Heading outside to her tent, Cynane briefly checked up on her Aptonoth, then opened the chest inside and began rummaging through it. After a short while she pulled out a bottle of pale, viscous fluid and a hide pouch filled with a dark red powder, as well as a mortar and pestle, rudimentary bunsen burner and some other pieces of chemistry equipment as well.
"Time to see if Dal'Sheed's talk about differences in the world's nature has anything to it."

 

[Furioso]

Rita walked out of her room and headed out into the school grounds. There she started double checking everything, making sure she hadn't left anything behind.

 

[Slenn]

Dal'Sheed decides to make some exercise. He paces around the school grounds, taking in the scenery and writing in his journal about what he thinks of the town. He also sketches the nearby towers in his journal.

He hears the sounds of combat inside the towers and walks in closer.

@Saltyk. The tower's for practicing magic right? And your guy is in there right?

 

[Saltyk]

Savranth continues practicing his magic. Making way to use his wind magic to blow down targets and his shield magic to defend against faux attacks.

Dal'Sheen would draw the towers in detail. Most notably the Secondary Tower with the almost crystalline blue underside and lines of light blue gently glowing all the way up to the top of the tower.

Valetta walked up on Rita. "You look like you're about to go somewhere."

@Kirke: Can Tophat sense magic or anything?

 

[Random berk]

Cynane sat outside her tent where she had a good view over the college grounds. She enjoyed watching the large crowds going about their business, but was especially interested in the spectacle of those that were practicing their magic. As she watched she poured the vial of thick white liquid into the pestle. Sprinkling the red powder into it, she began grinding it in and mixing it, working until the substance was equally thick and dull red. Placing it on top of the wire frame of her burner, she lit the wick of a candle that burned with an unusually intense flame, and placed it beneath the small bowl. The fluid began to steam and lost its viscosity as she stirred it.

OoC: @Salty, Is Valetta the one who was in the training room with Rita before?

Rita seemed to have everything. She looked up when Valetta talked to her "Oh, yea, I'm going to Rockbyrd to try and see if I can get my hands on some mythril."

 

[Slenn]

He opens the tower's door and says: "Hello? Is someone fighting up there?"

 

[Saltyk]

Savranth stopped his training and looked at Dal'Sheen. "I'm just practicing some of my magic is all."

[hr]

"On your own? Well, good luck. Make sure you stay out of trouble. As you seem to know, Mythril is highly valuable." Veletta replied. "But it isn't the only secret of Rockbyrd."

OoC: @Furi: Yes, she's the red haired girl with fire magic.

OoC: @Salty, ok, just making sure

"Hm? Secret? What are you talking about?"

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, I've heard of a lost clan of beastkin, who supposedly created the first Golems. And I heard there's a door in the mine tunnels that no one can open and doesn't respond to any form of magic." Valetta explained.

 

[Furioso]

"Is that so? This might be a little more interesting than I thought."

OOC: I am back what's happened since two days ago

 

[Slenn]

"Oh, I see then." Shoot. Should I tell him about the attack that's being made? "Listen, ummm... I was at the mess hall yesterday with some of the others. I don't know if you remember Adam. But he was speaking to a girl with pointy furry ears. Both of them were talking about setting fire to a group of Xipathian soldiers led by Blake, who planned on attacking a defenseless Legaian city. I'm not sure who this girl was or where she came from, but I was wondering if you heard of an attack of sorts. I don't want to point fingers, this is what I was overhearing." He said, a little shaky.

 

[Random berk]

When the fluid in the bowl had reached the consistency that Cynane wanted, she took it off of the burner. Raising it to her face she carefully sniffed some of the fumes that wafted up, which were as red as the fluid itself. She snapped her head back, her pupils dilating slightly, and she grinned.
"Oh yeah. That works." She held the bowl in her hand a moment longer, ignoring the heat as she looked at the potion as though spellbound, then shook her head slightly and took an empty bottle from the table. Pouring the liquid into it, she slipped the bottle into her bandolier, before getting up from the table to go and explore the college some more.

"Defenseless? That doesn't sound right. Even if the town's defenses are light, there is a Legaian military base in the midst of all the towns nearby. And Fourside is the largest city on the continent, with a huge airship base. Do you know the name of the city they plan to attack?" Savranth asked.

"Well, good luck, if you're going. And stay out of trouble, especially if you're alone. There are mages who won't even have to lift a finger to fight you out there." Valetta said as she started to walk away. "I have a class to attend to."

Tophat may sense various things about them. They certainly weren't human, but not natural either. It was almost like several of the trees were alive.
