Lyra tapped at her bracer, and a small holographic screen extended from it. "This is Lyra Reed, Long Fang of the wolves. Any wolves receiving this transmission, head to my broadcast location. A Great Hunt is afoot brothers and sisters, and its time to make Dancing blade proud of his great clan. Until then, remember Terra, remember the Betrayal. Be quick to forgive, but never forget. Lyra out."

@Drak: Alright, thanks man.

Ness nods silently and taps on her belt as it glows. Soon enough, a red line shoots out from it and and pixelates the book. The pixels flow into the belt and the glow slowly dissipates. Looking up at Jessica, she tilts her head a bit before nodding with a smile. "Well, I'm still curious to see those runes you told me about before. "

Jessica looked on with curiosity as Ness seemed to make the book disappear into her belt. "You mean spell-stones? Alright, I can show you one. So long as you explain..." She paused to make a confused seeming hand gesture at Ness' belt. "Whatever it is you just did with your belt and that book, because right now I am dying to know." She continued.

Ness smiles a bit and scratches her head slightly. "You know how I can create copies of objects by scanning them with my PDA, correct? My belt works in the same sort of manner. As that red line scanned the book, it converted every molecule of it into a code, which allowed each bit of the book to be translated into data. That data is now stored in my belt, and whenever I need it again, the belt will translate the book back into real-world existence. In short, it's just converts actual matter into digital data, and vice-versa."

Lyra listened to the static for a moment, before shutting the bracer's display down. there. Now, we'll just have to see if they receive the message. Wonder who'll get it? The slashing scimitar? the branding blade? Maybe the darting dagger, that'd be a a rich bit of memory. much happier, she bundled up and quickly began snoozing.

Jessica listened to Ness with a look of utter fascination. "I was wondering how that PDA thing of yours worked. You mean to say you can turn solid objects into computer code and vice-versa? That's amazing! We've been trying to do that for years now, decades even, and haven't managed it."
Jessica took a deep breath and said, "Guess it's my turn." She stood up, then slowly took off her coat, folded it up, and placed it aside and took off the black glove she had been wearing over her right hand. With her coat and glove off, Ness could now clearly see that Jessica's right arm appeared to be a prosthetic.

The prosthetic was made of a polished grey metal, with a inlay of what looked like gold running down the forearm and to the back of the hand, where it ended in a circle. The middle finger of the arm was painted yellow, while the pointer was painted red. At the spot corresponding to the tricep, Jessica pried open a hatch using her left hand. With that done, Jessica held her right arm out in front of Ness. With the hatch open, Ness could see a bright yellow glowing gemstone about the size of a pebble resting in a slot. Jessica took the gem out of the slot, at which point her right arm fell completely limp. "Here you go." Jessica said to Ness rather nonchalantly as she tossed the gem to her.

OoC: It's getting late... Got one more post in me.

Ness just shrugs a little bit. "It took a lot of work to find a large enough bit size to store everything. Our first prototype of this took up an entire three warehouses! My belt's the most stable converter we have, my PDA can still corrupt data in the conversion process."

Ness catches the gem and looks at it and back to Jessica in astonishment, mostly at the fact she had a prosthetic arm this entire time. "...This is a spell-stone and it powers your arm? Amazing... I had no idea something this small could hold that much power... or that you had a prosthetic arm this entire time..." Those spasms of hers make sense now... She carefully gets up and places the pebble back into Jessica's hand. "So are all spell-stones this... size?" Ness lets out a small yawn after she asks her question. "Oh... sorry, it seems that sleep's catching up to me again..."

@Dotslash: I hear you. I'm gonna call it quits for the night here shortly as well. And sorry for the slow reponse, big post and all.

"We use spell-stones to power all of our technology actually. They make for power sources better than pretty much anything else we've ever found. That's one of their most common uses." Jessica replied to Ness. She nodded appreciatively to Ness giving her the stone back, at which point she placed it back into her arm and closed the hatch. After power had been restored, Jessica flexed her right arm a few times to test it, then let it fall back to her side. "Sorry if this is a surprise. I don't like parading around the fact that my arm isn't real to begin with, and after hearing how the Xiphatians react to technology I figured it was best to only show it to people who I'm confidant can keep a secret." She explained as she put her coat back on. "And no, spell-stones range all sorts of sizes. The ones we use to generate power for our city are about as big as a person. And stones for say, something like your PDA probably wouldn't even be half the size of what my arm uses." After she finished her explanation, she yawned as well. "Ah, no big deal. We should probably get some rest for tomorrow now anyway. You'll have to tell me more about that belt and PDA of yours later. I'd love to hear more about them."

@Drak: No prob, man. Night.

Ness nods at Jessica as she explains the stone. "I see. We'll definitely talk more tomorrow. Hopefully, things will go well once we cross the border, since we both use tech. Goodnight, Jessica." Ness takes off her fedora and slowly drifts off to sleep.

"I'm certainly looking forward to it! Goodnight Vanessa." Jessica said to Ness as she fell asleep. Yawning again, she conjured up the glyphs around her head. Shortly afterwards, a portal opened up in front of her. She stepped through as quietly as possible, and the portal closed noiselessly behind her.

OOC: And I'm off!

Waking from his slumber, Savranth walks to the training room in the main Tower, which was in perfect working order, and closes his eyes. He opens his eyes and sees Adam standing before him, taking out his blade he quickly cuts through the man several times as lightning cracks through the blade. The image of Adam disappears.

The armored figure that was flying around the forests and slopes of the mountains boosted a little ways out of sight from the magi-college as it halted and looked at it from a distance.

"... And that's it for today. Class dismissed." announced the Professor as he turned around from the Physics class of 50 students. At varying paces the students started packing up belongings. An illuminated auditorium with velvet blue seats and red carpeting weaved between seats as a young girl, only 13 years old was quietly packing her things. Light brown hair, wrapped together into a military bun, her eyes were fixated putting away her folders.

"Hey Charlotte, is everything going alright?"

She turned towards the man. "Oh hello there Eric. No, everything is fine."

Eric smiled alittle. "You're really bad at lying you know that?"

Charlotte huffed at Eric's comment as she wrapped her backpack's around her shoulders. "Always so abrasive... Ready to go?"

"As always." The two walked over to the exits of the audience as Erica opened the door, revealing a large open space with several large weapons peaking into the stars. A dome shape around the general area, the gravity was still normal to that of Earth thanks to the centripetal force of the orbital rings around the station. In the backdrop of the endless sea of stars was a large blue orb. A few greenish-brown landmasses splattered around it with a few white wisps here and there.

New Earth, the new Homeworld for The United Nations Confederacy.

Eric sighed with joy. "The view of New Earth never gets old does it?"

"They keep the Vanguard Academy floating around a fixed point. But yes, it still is very beautiful. Like the Reformed United Nations of America and the European Union."

"Yeah..." Eric replied dreamily. Turning back to Charlotte he said. "Come'on! We still gotta meet up with Otis and Lorella!" He grabbed Charlotte's arm and started dragging her with him, with little chuckle in his step.

"You're really sounding like an idiot now..." Charlotte giggled back.

"Nah, you just obverse things too much." Eventually the two met up with.

"And here comes the love birds now..." the man chuckled, leaning against railing to a large window.

"You're 24.4 seconds late." the woman said to Charlotte and Eric.

Eric rolled his eyes. "Yeah, well you're ugly Otis. Lorella, control him." Eric shot back. Otis mocked a bullet shot to his chest.

"That really hurt there... Right there in the chest..." He mocked cried.

"Oh you two stop it. We are here to see the debut of the UNC Hawk remember?"

"Right." They all said simultaneously. The four of them were silent for awhile before Lorella spoke again.

"We barely have any time for this. We should be heading off for Close Quarters Combat training."

Otis scratched his head. "Yeah... And on top of that, weapons proficiency. Looks like an all nighter again."

"That's like the 4th one you did in a row." Eric said.

"Yeah..." They were silent again until Charlotte raised a fist into the air.

"Oh come'on guys! Remember what the older Vanguards said. Enjoy the little breaks we have inbetween, cause without that, someone's going to go insane."

The other three chuckled. "Yeah, I guess you're right Char. I mean, you guys are perhaps some of the best friends I have in the Academy." Otis said.

"Affirmative." Lorella said.

"And there she goes off again like a military automatron." Eric nudged Charlotte.

"Yeah well... Fuck you."

"'Fuck you' is a bad word."

"Is 'Screw off' acceptable then?"

"Yes."

Finally settling down, they gazed into the window looking in all directions for a sign of the machine. Charlotte pointed directly up at the dome above. "Is that it?!"

"Haha!" exclaimed Eric. "It really is it! The UNC Hawk! Damn... What I would do to pilot one of those."

"We are going to pilot them, remember? Later in life." Lorella snarked.

"Yeah, but that's boring! By that time, its old."

Lorella rolled her eyes, as Otis patted Charlotte on the back. "You found one weird dude Char."

Charlotte inched away from Eric, who was hopping up and down with excitement. "He's just a good friend."

Otis crossed his arms. "Really? I thought you told us the story about the first time you two met."

Charlotte's face became bright red as she turned to Eric her face puffed up.

"ERIC! YOU SAID THAT YOU WOULD KEEP THAT A SECRET!!!"

"Oh, yeah I did..." He turned to Charlotte as his face shifted to 'Oh shit'.

Eric turned and dashed in the other direction and Charlotte quickly stomped after him.

"I'M GOING TO KICK YOU ASS!!!"

"'Ass' is a bad word!"

"'BUTT'! WHATEVER!"

Charlotte slowly woke up in the Nurse's wing, rubbing her eyes alittle. Saya and Tao were still asleep. So I had friends... But what happened?

The Rookie woke up, and took a look at his map. From his current position, in the forrests east of Everwood, it seemed to be at least a few days more of travel. He packed up, and got going.

Dal'Sheed woke up from laying asleep in front of the mess hall's fireplace. He woke up and got the top portion of his suit equipped. He stepped outside after eating a few rations from his pouch. He considered a trip to Fourside to look at the artifacts for clues, but then there was that conversation Yukino and Adam were talking about...

Both of those characters are disturbing. They say they want to take care of the camp and get rid of them before they assault an innocent villa. But something's missing.

The armored figure would see the school's two towers standing tall and proud. A beacon of warmth and knowledge in the cold mountain tops. The Secondary Tower floated several feet off the ground as the underside glows a light blue.

Charlotte got up, and exited the main tower as she started to room around the courtyards of the magi college.

The armored figure started to walk towards the magi school as the armor started to break down into a large cylinder and...

Noel was within sight of the college. She seemed to be slightly tired, perhaps she didn't sleep all night but she had a small smile on her face.

The Rookie was wandering through the forrest, when he heard something behind him. He spun around, and saw a purple portal just as it was closing. Out of it popped a tophat, badly damaged. It was smoking slightly, like it had been grazed by fire. Lowering his weapon, the Rookie walked over and picked it up.

Cynane woke at one of the tables in the cafeteria, here she had been sleeping ith her head on her folded arms. Looking up she appeared momentarily confused by the unfamiliar surroundings. Then, as the fog of sleep began to filter out of her mind it came back to her and she stood up, stretching her arms and arching her back.

"Must have been more tired than I thought. she said to herself as she glanced around the otherise empty table.
