Rita looked up at Ness and Jess, saying "What? Where am I? What am I doing........" Rita stopped as the realization of everything that had happened dawned on her. She just stopped and looked down at the ground.

 

[Chungus]

"Though the same channels I acquired these constructs. I have access to whatever and however much materials I see fit. I need but make a demand, and it shall be fuffilled." Loki remarked as he walked towards the exit of the temple. "I considder it a prelude to things to come."

 

[DotSlash]

Ness nodded toward Jess. "Since you've got credits, you could definitely find a shop around here to buy one. Although I think the bandages look cool, it probably would lead to a lot of prodding into."

Turning toward Rita, Ness walked over to her and leaned down. "You're in a city called Fourside right now, Miss Rita. ...From that expression, you're not being mind controlled anymore. It's alright... no one's going to blame you for what he made you do."

 

[Furioso]

Rita said nothing. She had a lifeless, hollow look in her eyes.

 

[Drakmorg]

Nybeth continued following after Loki. "Well, I shall require a large supply of mythril to start with for the testing phase. Many samples of varying mass so as to determine what the most efficient ratio would be."

Jessica hummed to herself as she nodded to Ness, then stopped as she turned her attention to Rita. She sighed and looked at the ground herself. Poor kid...no telling what all she was forced to do... She stood up, then walked over and sat herself down on the edge of the same bed as Rita. "It's alright. You can just let it all out now if you want."

 

[DotSlash]

Ness leaned down to look at Rita's eyes and sat back up a bit as she noticed the lifeless look in her eyes. "... We might want to leave Miss Rita alone for a bit. She seems... lost."

 

[Furioso]

Rita said nothing.

 

[DotSlash]

Ness looked toward Rita and sighed a bit, idly twiddling her thumbs as she couldn't think of anything else to say.

 

[Chungus]

"This should not be a problem." Loki answered Nybeth as he walked down the mountain path, back to the airship. "Prepare for takeoff." he commanded the crew, who did as told. Loki then waited by the loading bay of the airship for Nybeth.

 

[Drakmorg]

"That would probably be for the best." Jessica admitted with a sigh. She stood back up and meandered over to where Ness was standing.

[hr]

Nybeth wordlessly followed after Loki, not having anything more to say.

 

[Furioso]

[sub]"I feel... nothing..."[/sub] was all Rita managed to say.

 

[Chungus]

Once Nybeth enter the ship, Loki took a seat on one of the small rows of seats to the right of the ship. The same number of seats were available on the left. One of the crew members thumbed onto the wall seperating the loading bay from the cockpit as a good to go sign, after which the airship took off and began flying back to Shaintaio.

Ness looked over toward Rita, barely picking up on what she was saying. She sat down near Rita for the moment. "...What was that, Miss Rita?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Nybeth immediately took a seat once the aircraft started moving.

Jessica sighed and shook her head. How long was she under?...The domination could have had some sort of effect on her psyche if it was in place long enough...

 

[Furioso]

OoC: Well my fucking computer froze and I lost about 2 and half hours worth of work, so I'm gonna stop for now so that I can focus

After a long time of travel, the airship landed at the airship docks at Shaintaio. Thirty seconds later, the loading bay opened. Unbuckling his seatbelt, Loki stood up and began walked out of the airship. "We will need to see someone before the tesing can start. She is to provide us with the necessary materials, and a place to conduct the testing." Loki said to Nybeth as he walked. Once outside, Loki reached for his pendant to contact Estella.

Ness sighed a small bit as she noticed what Rita was saying, before looking at the ground as well. It's the only thing she's known for a long while isn't it? ...Loki must've had her under control for way too long... and now she's broken.

 

[Drakmorg]

Hearing Ness sigh as well, Jessica crossed her arms and hummed to herself. "We can have Tophat take a look at her head when it wakes up. If this is some kind of after effect of her being controlled for so long...I dunno...but if there's a way to fix it, Tophat can probably pull it off." She caught herself involuntarily shuddering for a moment and did her best to suppress the feeling.

"Of course, testing at the temple would not work properly. We would lack the proper test subjects there." Nybeth mused aloud to himself.

Ness looked toward Jess and nodded slightly. "Sure... we could do that... I wouldn't feel all that good about probing into her mind to fix her, but... if we don't have another choice, then I'm all for it."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Well, I don't mean, like, force it on her or anything. That wouldn't feel right. But, you know, we tell Tophat about it, and if she wants it fixed then it can take a look at her." Jessica shuddered once more and looked over at Ness. "...Do you think I should get Tophat to look at my head too?...I think I was under that spell for about a month..."
