[Furioso]

So you would have just killed me if I didn't know anything? I think we're done here. replied Rita as the rock chunks shattered and fell around her. She began to search through the rubble.

 

[DotSlash]

After waiting for Jess, the duo exited the hotel and started to wander the streets of Fourside randomly. Ness had put on her contacts before hand, as her now dull red eyes scanned around aimlessly. She kept silent for the moment.

 

[Kirke]

(To Rita: I would only have killed you if I knew you couldn't be safely taken from Loki any other way. What damn reason do you have for not helping me? I am only asking words of you, words that would help defeat a common enemy.)

 

[Furioso]

Rita did not respond. She began picking out shards of mythril from the rubble around her.

 

[Kirke]

(To Rita: Do you think this is over because you're free from his control? You've been branded a traitor. He will try to take you back, or at the very least kill you. I just want to know how extensive his control over the goverment is, and what his plans are. Please.)
OoC: Off to bed. Night.

 

[Furioso]

I'll deal with that when I need to... and he didn't tell me his plans, he only let us know about them right before we did them.

Rita began to test her earth magic on the mythril. Much to her shock she found that it was possible for her to manipulate the mineral after some practice.

OoC: The mythril thing was approved

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica walked with Ness at an even pace right beside her, her hands stuffed in her pockets. She kept quiet as well until she noticed a clothing store when they wandered into a shopping district. "Might as well go take care of something right quick while we aren't doing much of importance." She said as she approached the store.

 

[DotSlash]

Ness looked over toward the store and nodded. [color=ff4599] "Yeah... we may as well. After you, madam." [/color] She said lightheartedly before waiting for Jess to enter the store before she entered herself.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica smiled a little at Ness and nodded to her before entering the store. Once inside, she started looking around for black jackets. She rubbed her chin and tilted her head as she looked at the selection. "Which one do you think looks best?" She asked Ness as she continued to peruse the store's wares.

 

[DotSlash]

Ness looked around for a moment before scratching the back of her head. [color=ff4599] "Hmmm... Not exactly sure. I think that one over there..." [/color] She pointed toward a very simple longsleeve jacket hanging nearby. [color=ff4599] "...might be best for you." [/color]

Suddenly remembering something, Ness covertly tapped her choker again. "Rita, could I at least help you make sure you don't get mind controlled again?"

 

[Furioso]

I'm fine on my own! replied Rita, who was now working on something.

 

[DotSlash]

Ness mentally sighed for a moment before responding. "You and I both know you can't take Loki alone."

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica nodded to Ness and almost immediately went over and took the jacket off the rack. She slipped it on to made sure the size fit well, then went up to the cashier and paid for it. She walked back over to Ness, still wearing the jacket as she didn't see any reason not to.

 

[Furioso]

Rita didn't respond and continued with her work.

Hearing no reply, Ness simply turned her attention back to Jess and nodded. [color=ff4599] "It looks perfect on you. So what do we do next?" [/color] She said in a slightly better mood as she made her way toward the exit.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica shrugged and followed after Ness. "This is really the only thing that I felted I needed to do. Have you heard anything back yet? I sure haven't."

 

[DotSlash]

Ness shook her head a bit as she continued to walk around. [color=ff4599] "I haven't heard anything back either. Rita's still not listening to me. I really hope she isn't trying to take Loki on her own... Maybe we should get something to eat while we're out here? " [/color]

 

[Chungus]

Loki briefly moved his hand away from the pendant to answer Nybeth. "While I normally would not be opposed to testing this on live subjects, secrecy is key here. If Legaia learns of what we aim to develop before it was been utilized, they would increase the security, and using it would become nigh on imposible. This is a test best done far out at sea." With that said, Loki moved his hand back to the pendant and continue on to the palace.

 

[Furioso]

After a long time, Rita finished her creation. She had altered her scroll, and combined it with the mythril shards to create a bladed mythril whip. She struck the nearest rock with it, which shattered once hit by the whip, a result of an amplified magic current running through the whip that was released when it would strike something. Satisfied, Rita began to work with the raw mythril some more.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica rested her hands behind her head as she walked next to Ness. "Yeah, I hope so too. That's just doomed to fail and get her caught or killed. I guess we could try and give her something to eat or something as a peace offering. Can't really see the harm in trying."

Nybeth continued to follow after Loki. "It will be difficult to judge just exactly how effective my spell is under amplification without test subjects, but if you say as such, we will simply have to make do with estimates then."
