Rex nods a bit toward Kyosuke. "Alright, I respect that." He looks up at the clouds for a moment. "So... when you asked about Ness being my girlfriend, was it because you were interested?" When he sees Echo and Tao walking around, he waves at them.

After looking around, Ness places the five-man tent and a few sleeping bags on the counter. She gives the shopkeeper a smile. "Hi there. How much for all of this?"

Looking at the fishing equipment, Ness would find there were several rods, lines and baits for sale. The least expensive rod was 8 credits, and looked downright flimsy, even on the box. While the most expensive one was 22 credits. There were also middle ground choices available, costing 12 and 16 credits. The lines on sale cost 4, 8 and 12 credits respectively. Plastic baits, come in all manner of shapes, but all cost 3 credits. Life bait cost 5 credits per pack, each pack containing roughly 25 large worms. There was also a special kind of life bait, claimed to emit a scent to which most species of fish were attracted. These cost 12 credits per pack, and contained 20 larvea per pack.
"That would be 89 credits in tolal." The shopkeeper answered after scanning the items Ness placed on the counter.

Having made the climb, Jessica reached the top of the mountain. From there, she could see Port Letosh, a piece of Granite Pass, and if she had very good eyes, she could vaguely make out Fourside in the far distance. She might also notice the drones nearing Granite Pass.

Hearing the words echo throughout their minds, accompanied by the powerful feeling that was emitted, some of thesoldiers stood down, while other stood their ground, but held their fire. Looking at eachother quizically, and whispering amongst eachother, the soldiers eventually started to back off, not fancying defending one who seemingly was a magic user.

Echo and Tao wave to Rex, then head over toward him. Echo makes sure to keep a wide birth from Tao.
Everyone could feel a sense of impending doom, like they were about to be killed gruesomely.

Jessica stopped at the mountaintop for a moment to take in the sights and breath the air a bit. Much better. She didn't pay much mind to the commotion she barely noticed, aside from thinking, Glad I'm not in the middle of what's going on down there. Having taken her time to enjoy the scenery, Jessica now turned her attention to the temple, beginning with examining the exterior of the building first.
Kyosuke give a shrug then decides to walk off. "I have plans of my own to deal with. Farewell for now." He decides to walk towards the airship docks.
"Hi guy, meow!" Tao said to Rex as she strode up to him.

"Bah! I'm already miles above that blundering fool..." Lucia indignatly answered Rita as she headed for the lab, swiping her access card through the reader to open the door. Walking over to one of the desks displaying information about the sphere, Lucia sat down and took a sip of coffee before bringing a few research notes up. "At a loss as to how old exactly this object is, I analysed the rock in which it was lodged. Although difficult to determine exactly, I place the object being apporximately 6,000 years old, although it is more then likely it is older then that. As for what material it is made of, how it emits its radiation, and just how it came to be in Granite Pass, I don't know. I'm still running various tests to determine those things."

"Hell no! Let that thing have him!" one of the soldiers exclaimed upon feeling the sense of utter dread. After he ran out of the building, the others followed not long after, the young man included, although he did so more reluctantly.

Tophat took complete control over the elite, and carried the Rookie to the table. It then took a spray-flask of medical foam and sprayed it into the different wounds, which stopped the bleeding. Then, he used the radio in the Rookie's helmet to send out a message.
"This is professor Tophat of the Winterhold college. I've got a wounded with bulletwounds in leg, stomach and chest. He has also got severe plasma injuries on chest and shoulder. I need proficient medical personel and transport to medical facility ASAP. Location: Granite Pass. The patient is severly wounded and will not make it without assistance. Be advised, hostile alien on site has been pacifed. I repeat, do NOT shoot the big guy in armour! The wounded is a UNSC corpal, name: James D. General call, requesting proficient medical personel and transport to medical facility ASAP. Location: Granite Pass."

"That's all I have for the moment, yes..." Lucia remarked with an irritated tone, although this irritation didn't necessarily seem to be directed towards Rita. Lucia rested her elbows on the desk and rubbed her temples with her index and middle fingers.

If she inspected the entrance further, Jessica would find four large, thoroughly rusted hinges, two on either side of the doorway. Further in to the temple, Jessica saw a smaller building at the center of the temple. Unlike the exterior, this structure was almost completely intact, with only little erosion on the stone work.
