Rex shrugs a bit. "We're in a port... somewhere. May as well go look around, I guess." He gets up and starts wandering toward the docks.

Ness cracks her neck a bit as she wanders around. Eventually, she comes across the lab in town and looks at it in interest.

"You don't have the clearance to see any of the things that are worked on here." Lucia remarked, then paused and sighed. "But I could show you this, as it's more of a personal project then anything else." Swiping her fingers over the glass panel, Lucia brought up a projection of what looked like a miniature reactor. "This thing is as curious as the sphere is, as it's roughly as old as the spere, and presumably recovered from the mountains surrounding Rockbyrd. The fact that these two objects are roughly the same age, and came from the same area, it is a uncanny coincidence. That is, if you believe in coincidences."

Finding the lab, Ness saw that a man in a Legaian military outfit was talking to the receptionist, and not long after, heading further into the complex.

Being a slower moving vehicle then the drones, the two ambulances arived in Granite Pass three minutes after the drones did. Landing near the main building, a team of paramedics rushed towards it, finding the soldiers looking uncomfortably at its entrance. After getting a brief summary of the situation, the paramedics decided to enter the building anyway, if only to retrive the two soldiers that were wounded in the battle.

"You just found a reactor? Wouldn't that mean it was part of an ancient civilization, an advanced one at that? And since the sphere is radioactive, could it be some sort of power source for the reactor?"

Rex continues walking, yawning a bit as he goes. He turns toward Echo as she walks along with him. "So... where's that creepy aunt of yours at?"

Jessica was examining the ruins when she began to feel her visor vibrating in her coat pocket. She took out her visor and put it on, at which point the screen folded down and displayed a message that it had picked up a stray radio broadcast. Curiosity taking hold of her, Jessica took a pair of small speakers out from the visor and planted them in her ears, then played the message. She frowned as she listened to the message and walked over to the side of the mountain where she could get the best view of Granite Pass. What's someone from Winterhold doing in Granite Pass? Using her visor to zoom in on the scene, she noticed the military personnel milling around and the ambulances arriving, she took off her visor and put it back in her coat. No way in hell I'm going down there. Besides, not like I'd do more than just out myself to the military now that they've got ambulances down there. She thought with a shrug.
She went back to the temple, walking through the now clear doorway. She looked around for any sign of the doors, thinking they may have simply rusted off their hinges and fallen over. Then, she went over to examine the smaller, much more pristine building.

@Trilby: Uh... After the whole Pewtercove incident, the group drove to Holadino using a large car Ness had bought. The group basically relaxed and ate there, met this beastkin named Felina, but nothing really happened with her. After a while, the group split up again. Ness, Echo, Tao, Rex and Kyosuke went to Port Letosh. Ness went there to try to find a ship to the Wild Lands. Noel, Dal'Sheen, and Charlotte stayed back, wanting to go to Granite Pass. Rita and Loki are still running around in Fourside.

The hawk flew behind some nearby bushes. Moments later, a fairly unremarkable looking man in a Legaian military uniform stepped out of the bushes and entered Nightshade. He was looking around to see what type of city it was, that is, which nation it belonged to, and trying to find a barracks.

"Professor Howard Soto is the head scientist, but ultimately, the laboratories are controlled by the Ministry of Science." The receptionist answered Ness.

Jessica would indeed find the two doors laying near the opening, both having succumbed to woodr ot. Examining the smaller structure, Jessica would find that it was slightly larger then a average shed. There was a door in the smaller structure, directly opposite of the doorway of the temple. The door was made of some manner of metal that looked silver, and unlike the hinges of the door of the temple, hadn't rusted.

As Dal'Sheed walked south of Holadino, he would find simple rolling plains, although the occasional interesting sight caught his eye, the land seemed not very developed.
