"Unlikely. Considering that this is a time of war and the professor is working on numerous duties for the government. Besides, he's not much of a people person." The receptionist asked.

"Everything ready, Professor Soto?" Richard asked holding a familiar looking bag.
"Of course just place the bag and clothes down." A strange man in a lab-coat and glasses replies.
Richard puts the bag down with some simple clothes and steps back. As he does, Soto taps on miniature computer on his wrist, and a shield appears all around the bag and clothes. It was shaped like a bubble where it wasn't meeting the ground and was a light blue color.
"Now, let's see this specimen..."

The figure landed on Rex, tackling him to the ground, then bounced off him and rolled a few feet away. A long, thick piece of rope dropped down after the man, and landed on top of Rex.

Dal'Sheed kept himself in a passive state of mind. Only minding the scenery of Rockbyrd at this point. He had his helmet off to show that he was at least humanoid.
He approached one of the miners with a friendly face
"Hi... umm.... I new here. My name is Dal'Sheed." He paused. "If you don't mind me asking, what's happened in this town? Everyone looks like they've seen a ghost."

Jessica would see writing on the walls of the building. Indicating that someone was recording information for others to see.
She would also find a mechanism that seemed to require something to be installed. Something small like a capsule with two band like areas on the top and bottom.
OoC: @Outis: Well, Athena, for all she did was a calm reasonable person. So long as you didn't touch her inappropriately.

She would also find a mechanism that seemed to require something to be installed. Something small like a capsule with two band like areas on the top and bottom.

The miner looked at Dal'Sheed with a somewhat fearful face. "Look we don' want no trouble 'round here. Even since that crazy fox with two tails came through here, everyone has been on edge. She had the gall to even damage Lord Icarus' palace." The miner said as he pointed to the palace at the back of the city, which if Dal'Sheed looked closely could see that part of it had in fact been damaged, although still structurally sound.

Rex just lies face up on the ground, seemingly undamaged. He just looks a bit annoyed by the whole experience. He looks up at the dog that just landed on him in annoyance, while shoving the rope off of himself. "Yeah... so... who the fuck are you?"

Jessica took a closer look at the writing on the building to see if she could make out what was written. She made a mental note of the mechanism, but left it alone for the time being since she had no idea what to do with it.
