Rex gets up while talking to both Tao and Echo. "Don't worry about me, you two. Echo, you've seen me get hit by a hell of a lot worse." He cracks his neck for a moment as he stands up straight and turns toward Remy. "Not exactly, but close enough. I'm Rex. So... why exactly were you freefalling?"

Ness gives the receptionist a nod, a bit surprised that her guess was correct. "I'd love to apply. What forms do I need to fill out?"

"That's fair enough. I don't want to pressure you."

"I'm here to ask if there were any recent artifacts that have been dug up. Ones that are as old as the altar, which I think is...around 20,000 years old." He looked upwards while he was trying to remember.

"Will do." said Rita as she left and ventured into the city streets, not really sure what to do at the moment.

Turning to Tao, he sighs a bit before starting to walk away toward someplace to eat. "Yeah, yeah... let's go already. You too, Remy."

" It's "being" evacuated? From what I saw it's already been evacuated. They left you here to die. Either the plague is so deadly they couldn't risk getting you, or they just didn't care enough to try and get you. I'm going to guess... the second option, knowing how you humans behave."

Tao cheered and pranced after Rex. Echo just silently followed, eyeing the new dog-person curiously.

"Interesting..." Jessica muttered aloud to herself upon reading the inscription. She took out her camera and took a picture of the writing. She felt ambivalent about the writing, as on one hand it gave her an idea as to who built the temple and made her curious to find out more about the place, but on the other, it gave her no clues as to how to gain entrance to the building it was written upon. Since she wasn't willing to try and break her way into the building, and assumed the mechanism she noticed earlier was her ticket to getting in, she left it alone for now. She went and examined the rest of the temple grounds to see what she could discover.

Through various winding paths, Dal'Sheed was eventually lead to a impressively large door. Although it was currently being ignored, there were various pieces of mining equipment scattered near its location, seemingly nothing had managed to budge it.

"And here it is! Ain't she a beauty? Still can't crack this nut..." The miner said.
