" A Xiphatian Lieutenant Colonel. So Legaian soldier, why are you so far away from your fleet?" The man, now revealed to be a panther beastkin, asked. He stared at the man with piercing yellow eyes.

@Tribly: That makes no sense. His powers would leave some sort of marker.

Adam would be absurdly healthy, sure, but I don't see how it would genetically alter him to be obviously different from humans.

Dal'Sheed would find a solitary key hole indentation in the door, otherwise it wasn't very fancy, but what it lacked in fanciness was made up for with brute defiance of breaking. "Frankly, we don't know what this thing is made of. It's harder than anything we've ever found before. Even master earth mages can't seem to budge it."
The man walked closer to the lieutenant Colonel, ending up standing next to the old man. "Well that's an easy one, over in Fourside we heard that this place was becoming a ghost town. Came to see if there were any Xiphatian's hanging around that would be easy pickings."

She went around looking for the observatory she had noticed back when she had first observed the temple from the riverside.

Just like Deretheni or Nara. It must be condensed stone. The makers of this must have had some knowledge of how to shape and condense stone, just like the D'ni.

"You're not soldiers here. Why the Hell would I feed you? Get out of here before we throw you out!" The cook replied.

Vanessa would find that the airship dock, while large, was not made to support any long terms airship presence. It was actually rather empty, as though the majority of the ships were elsewhere.
