Jessica curiously examined the shed-like building that had caught her eye. She carefully reached out and attempted to open the door, half expecting it to be jammed or unable to open for any other of a number of reasons.

Ness tilts her head a bit as she hears 'Ministry of Science'. She begins to adopt an interested look as she continues to ask the receptionist questions. "...What does Prof. Soto specialize in?"

Made quite a trek to Rockbyrd, it would be quite a ways on foot. Upon reaching the city there was the large wall that lined the perimeter of the city and the main gate leading in.

As Jessica had expected, the door wouln't open. The doorknob she touched was remarkebly warm to the touch, givem the fairly cold temperatures ontop of the mountain.

Rex shrugs a bit as he starts walking around again, looking for someplace to eat. "Seems like food's the only thing that's ever on your mind, Tao."

"Professor Soto specializes in Bioengineering and genetics." The receptionist replied to Vanessa.

Dal'Sheed enters the gate, looking for a possible place that looked like the mines.

Rex, and the people with him, would hear a sound which was suspiciously similar to someone behind them screaming far away, then rapidly getting nearer.
The reason for this, is because it is someone screaming.
They are screaming, because they are falling Rex-wards.

The totally-not-evil person would find that the house was full of small magic nicknacks and such. It was in disarray as the people had left in a hurry, knocking over plants, and other such things.

A moaning sound came from deeper in the house.

Jessica was disappointed that her assumption was correct, but far from discouraged by it. Her curiosity emboldened by the strangely warm door handle, she was now more determined to see the interior of the building than ever. She examined the exterior of the small building from every angle she could, combing its surface for a way of seeing the interior of the building. In addition, she studied the door a bit more, seeing if it had an obvious locking mechanism that may have been the culprit responsible for keeping her out.

Rex looks toward the noise and sighs slightly before looking at Tao. "Uh.... people randomly falling on you is a start..."

Ness puts her hand to her chin. "Would it be possible for me to speak with him...?"

Dal'Sheed would find the entrance of the mine in the back of city, on either side of Lord Icarus' palace. The atmosphere of the area however seemed to not be the most friendliest. A lot of miners were keeping a eye on Dal'Sheed, quite possibly wary of what happened one of the previous times a stranger had entered the city.
