"That is understandable." Loki answered. Upon reaching the room, he looked around the target for a moment. They were traditional targets, red and white cricles, painted on thick metal slabs that were attached to the celing. Each of them had several scorch marks on them. Placing his right foot infront of him, Loki twisted his body slightly and pointed the scepter at one of the targets, the gem glowing. After a moment, Loki fired a blast of energy from the scepter, recoiling only a little. Once the blast impacted, it exploded and unleashed a small shockwave that sapped the power of any electronics caught within for a second. The explosion itself was rather quiet, but once the blue glare died down, it was reveal the damage it had done. A hole was blown in the slab, smoke rising from it. Loki fired at three more targets before lowering the scepter and turning to the camera. "As you can see, the blast is quite potent, and it can be fired without end, the energies contained within never depleting. Nor does the weapon risk overheating. And that, is the secondary function. The main function, I will explain shortly." he explained, then turned back to the receptionist. "I am done here."

As Envy began his speech, the soldiers gave him a curious look. The hell is this guy rambling on about? One of them thought. When Envy shot out the hooked tentacles, they soldiers were struck before they could even react. The soldier on the right dropped to the ground, the tentacle having pierced his heart, killing him instantly. The other fell against the wall, coughing up blood, his left lung pierced. He feebly raised his weapon at Envy.
