"Listen here. If an inferior beast such as yourself didn't insist on touching the controls, nothing would have happened. It's no surprise you can't comprehend the system with you lesser intelligence. Leave the premises at once. We'll find this beastkin and deal with her." The receptionist replied.

Some soldiers, having noticed Remy and heard the receptionist, walk over to him and put their hands on his shoulder. "Time to go, puppy."

Rex stares blankly at Envy as he lands. "Naw, dude... You ugly. And this is coming from me having big ass scars on my face." He shrugs toward Marston. "Traveling different dimensions will kinda do that."

Ness pauses for a few moments as well before turning back to Jessica. "She's trying to commit herself to become a better person, that's how I 'know' she's not a psycho. She doesn't want to hurt anyone to the point where she's given up groping breasts. You know first-hand how much she did that, but she's finally stopped, seeing that it annoys and angers people. That denotes rational thought."

"Not to mention that if she's getting so worked up over something like touching breasts, I doubt she'd be able to deal with the mental stress of killing someone and knowing she's potentially ruined the lives of their loved ones and family."

She gives a slightly surprised look toward Brooke. "...What was that?"

"You humans spend a silly amount of time trying to kill each other over ridiculously trivial things. 'You're a different skin colour' 'You believe in a different god' 'You like people of the same sex' 'I want this bit of land. Give it to me'." Brooke replied. "Can't you just get along?"

Marston noticed Sev getting agitatted and made sure to watch everyone extra closely. Rex's comment didn't really register with him.

Rita sighed "Yea I guess we should..." she started packing up camp

Envy held his hands out in a "whoah stop that!" fashion at Savranth "Woah there, you need to get your memory checked, you told me your name! And who says I supported that guy, I just said I don't like fighting!" He glared at Rex "Are you always this big of an asshole?"

Ness lowers her head a bit as she turns her attention back to the road. "Well... humans are inherently selfish. We only enjoy things that are like ourselves. That's what leads to all the class wars, racism, and the hatred... It just seems to be something in our genetic code that doesn't allow us to truly harmonize with each other. No human is immune to that impulse, and eventually we give into it. That's why we really can't get along... with anything." She sighs a bit as she continues driving. "I really wish I could change that..."

Savranth didn't take his hand from his sword. "Yeah..? I remember you. Doesn't exactly mean I feel like trusting you. I'm sure you understand. When someone complains that the person you're fighting hasn't killed you yet, it kind of leaves you less than trusting of them. And for someone who doesn't enjoy fighting you certainly enjoyed attacking me when Icarus controlled you."

"Where have you been keeping all those items?" Loki asked Rita as she packed up the camp, he himself looked around, trying to decide in what direction to go next.

And talking about Taokaka like she's some regular cat would pretty much be the same as me tossing a banana at your head and demanding you do a trick for my amusement." Jessica replied to Tedd, venom present in her voice, though where it was directed would be hard to discern. She shook her head at what Ness said without glancing over to look at her. "I'm still not convinced. It could all still easily be nothing more than an act. She learns she can't get away with something anymore, so she 'wants to be a better person' and gives it up. Mark my words, she's still going to keep doing that whenever she feels she can get away with it."

Marston continued to warily observe the situation, steadily moving away from the area.

Echo started to feel a little uncomfortable about all of the talk that was going on in the car.

Tao continued to sleep.

"You sure had a big grin on your face, when you attacked me. I remember that. And I was prepared to defend against you even after you were no longer being controlled. So, I'd ask you that same question." Savranth replied.

He nods to Jess' first question and shakes his head to the second. "To make a long story short, to transfer the soul of a high-ranking demon who was connected to me, I had to make a deal with the devil. She was important to him and his plans for world domination... or whatever. I had to commit suicide, retrieve the demon's body from purgatory since it was stashed there by some angels, and then become reborn in a demon's body. So... I'm a demon. Devil was nice enough to give me a body a lot like my old one."

Ness sighs a bit. "We'll see, I suppose. I have faith in her not screwing up again, but I guess acting on that faith is to act irrationally. She's yet to do that to me though so.... I might be a bit biased as well..." She just sighs more and scratches her head. "Brooke, dear, I'd like for our species to keep its individual will rather than brainwashing them all to become perfect drones. I can wish and dream to play God, but I don't actually want that.... ...Gah! Why is everything so contradictory!?"
