Jessica was sleeping in her bedroll out in one of the craters that Rita had made. Laying next to her was a jumbled up mess of fabric and rods that could be assumed to be a failed attempt at setting up a tent.

Bryce sighed, and flipped his coin twice. I need to check on Ness, its been ages since I've seen her... But she might be in the middle of a fight, and I don't want to risk her suffering for my mistake... Jess seems to avoid conflict areas, and she should have a way to safely contact Ness. Let me pop in on her. settling on that plan, Bryce teleported into the same crater Jess slept in, sliding until his feet found footing.
"It will come to me in time. For now, let us think of the present, rather then future. Time to see how Nybeth has fared with repairing the corpse." Loki said to Rita, then began walking towards Nybeth's cave. As he walked, he said, "If you would look for and fetch Jessica?"

"I don't see why not. You'll probably be asked some questions before they alow you though." the lab assistant answered Ness. Walking over to the door, he buzzed it open for her, then held out his hand. "Good luck with your research!"

Since Jessica had made it pretty obvious that she wasn't all that comfortable around dragons, and no one in their right mind would sleep in Nybeth's cave... except for Nybeth, Rita headed towards where she had been practicing before. Seeing Jessica asleep next to the ruins of a tent Rita sighed and called out "Hey Jessica, wake up it's time to get moving!"
Jessica tossed and turned for a while, getting dirt all over her bedroll. She woke up when Rita called to her, sitting up with her sleeping bag still wrapped around her. "Alright...Just give me a minute." She groggily called back to Rita, ending her sentence with a yawn. She heard someone sliding into the crater near her and turned her head to see Bryce. "Oh...hi. What are you doing here?"

After leaving the lab, she would take out her map and start moving toward the hotel again. Once she made it to her room, she'd warp her way outside the city limits of Granite Pass and begin to move into the city again.

"Well, I can't just pop next to Ness, but I know you have a way to contact her and make sure me stopping by won't do harm to her. Plus, I suppose I was bored just sitting around, waiting for something to happen." Bryce glanced at the tent, and smiled. "Never mentioned you were a survival specialist."
"But you're perfectly comfortable with popping in on me whenever you want then? And would you mind giving me a moment? I just woke up." Jessica followed Bryce's gaze over to her wreck of a tent. "Oh har har har." She replied in a deadpan voice with half-closed eyes.
"You seem to have a healthy habit of avoiding bullets, so I wouldn't risk your life in a possibly ongoing firefight. You also don't seem the type to hang around public offices, so me popping up wouldn't draw attention, undue or otherwise. Safer this way." Bryce nodded to Rita, pulling himself out of the crater. "Bryce. Incestigator for the WAOA. Just thought I'd chexk in with your friend Jessica here."

As Loki neared Nybeth's cave, he glanced over at Garzic's coffin still sitting there. That will need to be destroyed before we set out, lest someone stumble upon it. Walking further, and not fancying entering Nybeth's cave too much, he stopped at the entrance of it as before and called out. "Nybeth. Have you finished the repairs?"

Hearing what he believed to be Estella's command, the head MP reached for his pendant to confirm the order. Understood, ma'am. Turning to the rest of the MPs, he said, "Alright, the threat has been lifted. Return to your posts."
In her quarters, Estella was looking over papers, but stopped when she heard the lead MC confirm an order. What is understood?
"Hold up!" the lead MC said to the rest, then reached for his pendant again. Ma'am? Didn't you just give the order for us to pull out from the penetentiary?
I did no such thing. Estella answered, tapping her finger on her desk.

While Bryce was climbing out of the crater, Jessica quickly crawled out of her bedroll and dressed herself. She teleported out of the crater and said, "Alright Rita, what's...where'd she go?" She looked around to see where Rita had gone, not noticing her leaving until before that point. Sighing, she turned her attention back to Bryce. "So what did you want from me again?"

"Judging by your choice of words, I assume the corpse is all but useless?" Loki asked Nybeth, taking a step away from the mouth of the cave now that Nybeth was coming outside.
