The cat would find that the flora around the village was mostly grass, with a few small flowers dotted around. Most had blue and purple petals, and would resemble roses. The scents of the flowers, if the cat could pick up on such things, would be less familiar. There would be little in the way of trees or crops in the vicinity.
Homer would see much the same as the cat had; limestone and lumber houses. He would be unable to find an inn, but may locate a very comfy patch of grass near the road.

The little hamster came to a halt. Behind him, a little trail of burnt grass was still smoking.
Squinting because of his bad eye-sight, he looked at the wall of a building before him.
"Damn it, that doesn't seem to be lair 352." he thought to himself. "Was I too fast again?"

Robin turned as he heard something talking, and noticed the hamtser. "Um... Did you just talk?"

The Hamster took out his glasses from a hidden place inside his fur and looked up at Robin:
"How can YOU talk? You're not a hamster. Where am I? This is a strange place, everything is too big."

Looking up, you spot Robin talking to something on the ground. After scanning the ground for a moment, you spot a small furry animal. Shaking your head at the insanity of the world, you count yourself lucky that the fish aren't talking. You also decide that you've gutted enough fish, for now, and set off towards your hut to find a few buckets.
"Why? Ahh, but I was racing to my girlfriend ...

"I'm human. My name is Robin." He sat down, getting closer to ground level to better commune with the hamster.
Aqua backed up from the hamster, grabbing Topaz's arm as she did so to make sure he didn't run off. "Careful, Robin. It's probably magical if it can talk. It might be dangerous."
"Yeah, it might try to nibble on your finger! You could totally die from that!"

"If it's dangerous, I would know. But fine." Robin stepped back a bit, not because he beloved the master was a threat but because is was easier than arguing.

Homer wasn't particularly tired, since he had shown up already asleep, so he came back to the group. He saw everyone talking to a small fuzzy creature, and it talking back, and wanted to investigate further.
The hamster looked Topaz in the eyes.
"You seem to be some kind of machine. ... B-but let's leave it at that. According to my calculations, my height compared with yours does give you the stronger argument."
He looked further around.
"Ermm ... does one of you mind giving me a lift? I can't really see much from down here."
