Hearing Shara's answer, Sebastian(?) cocked an eyebrow, surprised by it, even if it did strengthen the vague suspicion they had about the group. Even so, they still didn't dismiss the idea they could be dreaming, increasingly less likely as it seemed. "I'll be walking with you, then. More questions, I certainly have." Sebastian(?) stated, stepping aside when Shara moved to the door, so to not block her path. "What you're saying, people appearing around this place out of thin air, that's normal?"
[color=006d5b]"Oh, right. We don't have the draft where I'm from, any more."[/color] Matilda stated.
You walk towards the village square, and the well that's there. As you walk, you respond to Sebastian. [color=0066cc]"No, it's definitely not normal. I arrived months ago, and as far as I know, I was the first to ever appear. Now, a bunch of people have appeared, including you."[/color] - You say, glancing back at the man. As you do, you notice that his feet sinking into the ground for the first time. You do a double take, but don't comment on it.
[color=006d5b]"Did you hear that?"[/color] Matilda asked, turning towards the rustling and pointed. [color=006d5b]"I think there's something in the grass over that way."[/color]
"I... uhh...", was Sebastian's(?) only response to Shara, initially, their voice raising more towards normal speaking level as they looked and sounded rather dumbfounded. Finding themselves lagging behind Shara, Sebastian(?) shook their head once, and followed after her, taking large strides to move at a decent pace while also pulling their legs out of the deep footprints they made. Sebastian(?) noticed that Shara looked to their feet, but elected to say nothing on it as long as no one else did.
"So what about the rest of the world, outside this rustic village? Is this happening more then just locally?" they asked when they caught up to her, walking to her left. And after a pause, they glanced to her, and extended their left hand to her. "Oh, and would you care for a extra hand in carrying those buckets?"

"Why did they get rid of it?" Homer asked Matilda, not being used to living in a place that didn't revolve around the military. Homer hadn't heard anything, so he looked where Matilda pointed blankly.
"Hey Aqua, they obviously aren't fighting, so can you let me go now?"
Aqua let go without a word, but soon heard Shara and someone whose voice she didn't recognize talking, although they were too far for her to make out what they were saying. "Stay here" She told Topaz, then went to investigate.
When she noticed very deep footprints leading to the town square, she broke into a sprint. "Shara, that man is the creature we saw earlier!" Aqua shouted as soon as she saw Shara.
Aqua let go without a word, but soon heard Shara and someone whose voice she didn't recognize talking, although they were too far for her to make out what they were saying. "Stay here" She told Topaz, then went to investigate.

With all the yelling and flashing lights going on, it had been hard for some townspeople to get back to sleep. A door opened, and a man with a curved sword at his hips and a fishing rod in his hands stepped out. He seemed younger than the old man, possibly in his late 20s, with the same dark skin and hair. Unlike the old man, he had a slightly trimmed black beard, with sideburns.

"You're all really cute animals", Speedy said to the weird group of big people, which was apparently there to protect him, "but I have thought a long time and I wonder if there are any monsters around. Do you know how a monster looks like? Did you hear a monster? I don't want to be eaten."

You frown, and just as you're about to reply back to Sebastian, you hear Aqua shout. You first look to her, then back at Sebastian, before shrugging. You call back to Aqua, though not with the same volume; [color=0066cc]"I've seen stranger things in my days, and stop shouting. It is late, people here are sleeping."[/color] Having now reached the village square, you place one bucket at the outlet of the well's pump and begin to fill it.
Homer followed Matilda, bringing Speedy along for the ride. "So...you heard something?" he asked, looking around still.
"You- what?" Aqua said, taken aback by Shara's passive response. "Has it taken you hostage? Get away from her, beast!" With that, she placed her hand near the gem on her shoulder, and similarly to when Topaz summoned his weapons, it began glowing. Blue light took gradually took form into a mace in Aqua's hand, almost as if she were pulling the weapon out of the gem.
Topaz heard all the commotion, but decided to sneak over to one of the limestone walls to see if the cat was on to something.

Hearing Aqua's voice call out, Sebastian(?) raised an eyebrow, pretending like they didn't know who was speaking, or what Aqua was talking about. Looking over their shoulder, Sebastian(?) squinted, pretending to peer through the darkness while estimating how much further Aqua would have to draw before someone without night vision could see her. When satisfied with the distance, Sebastian's(?) face contorted with shock with no indication the reaction was quite faked.
"What in God's name... ?!" they called out while letting themselves stumble backwards by a few paces, though keeping their balance. They would continue to move backwards as Aqua began manifesting their mace, speeding this up when it was fully formed. "S-stay back!" they yelled themselves, pointing towards Aqua.
Glancing around and seeing the townspeople come out of their beds, Sebastian(?) called out,
"Someone help me!"
