Anik was kind of disappointed that the information was not all that useful. She had hoped it would gain her trust.

She answered:
"I will meet again with the other traveler and her companions, then I would try to find out more about this conflict, by trying to speak with these demi-gods and their Vesh'Rah counterpart. And then I want to find out what the just thing is to do."
Anik spoke true, but Timea could notice that the "just" was not her own "just", but rather the "just" of someone else. Maybe she also noticed a nearly not visible smile at this word, like she was eager to do this "just" thing, whatever it was.

"What do you think about this "god"?"

Palladein area - night​

Hearing Anik's answer, Timea frowned slightly, the answer doing nothing to improve her opinion of the woman. Perceptive enough to notice just about everything not on a microscopic level, Timea did see Anik's faint smile, not being very surprised by it. "The right thing to do would be to do absolutely nothing. Go home, and leave the fate of the land to its own", Timea commented. She still spoke amicably, but it wouldn't be very hard to figure out she didn't approve. "And Gods?" she said next, somewhat questioningly. "Tsk! Gods are fairy tales. At most, they're creatures that happen to be more powerful then others. So, I think of this king the same way I do any other; not very highly."

Not seeing Hillary as she looked behind her, Timea looked around the surrounding area, blowing a soft sigh as Hillary rose from the sand besides her. "That's right. But like the saying goes "the early bird catches the worm."" she said cheerily. "We have ever so much to do, so the sooner we start, the better~"

Timea and Hillary may notice that, as the sun rose to the southeast, the temple in Palladein had stopped burning. Instead, it had simply started emitting a dull orange light. The two of them might remember that the southeast was also where the sun had set, as well as where it rose.

After listening to Matilda, you join the discussion. You chime in that during your time in Kaisir you learned that magic was rare there, and mostly used for agriculture. [color=0066cc]"So I doubt we'd find a way home there."[/color]

"In any case, I'm getting breakfast. We can't think correctly if we don't eat." She went up to the front counter and asked what could be ordered for breakfast.

After Matilda said not to talk about this in public, Aqua stepped back and sat down at a different table.

Topaz heard the commotion inside the inn, so he waited at the edge of the roof right above the door.

EMily would learn that the inn offered rice and fish dishes, fresh fruit and rice porridge.

But I'm not here to do the right thing, I'm here to do the just thing. Also, I would maybe go home if I could, but I don't think that's a possibility.

Anik felt the presence of Topaz above her, so she turned to him to greet.

"Hello again. Did you have a good night? Time to get breakfast, I would say."

"No, no. We're not changing the subject this time", Timea stated, speaking more firmly. "What right do you have, exactly, to meddle in affairs that have nothing to do with you? What makes you think you can go around spreading your sense of "justice", ruining the lives of others just because they don't fit some model you decided everyone should go by?" As she went on, what friendliness Timea had in her voice was quick to be replaced with venom, especially placing spiteful emphasis on the word "justice".

"Well, that was unexpected," Anik thought. "I may have to change my approach."

"What if I told you that it is not my sense of "justice" I want to spread around, but that I plan to serve Justice itself? I don't know if I will ruin the lives of others, but if justice itself decides it to be necessary, I will do it.

Don't think I do this on some fancy, Old One."
Timea would notice that Anik was sincere.

"You know what? I like it. I'll go get breakfast and won't tell anyone." Anik said to Topaz and headed inside.

Sibylla was freaked out by what Timea said, then afterwards continued doing as asked.

Sibylla was still fast asleep even as Timea and Hillary spoke nearby, having not yet gotten nearly enough sleep

Cybil went to go get some breakfast while everyone else was busy failing to make any sort of decision on anything.
