Shara would be unable to see the barges from the docks, as the river was around 500m from the most northerly point of the dock, and the barges were loaded further inland.

"You mean for blind people? Wow, that seems really useful. Seems like one person did not think only about himself for a change." Anik said as she followed Shara.

Speedy sat himself on the shoulder of Shara, looking out as well, only not knowing for what.

You sigh in frustration, but as you cannot seem to find any sign of the barges you decide to go ask somebody where they are loaded instead.

OoC: Off for dinner.

"Then that means, he came with you to this world, yes?" Timea questioned, the time Sibylla was seemingly speaking to herself making sense in this light. As she talked, she looked Sibylla over once more, then returned to washing herself, mostly her arms. To do so, she had the skin on the palm of her hands become more coarse, it acting as a brush.
Presently

After bathing, drying off, and having breakfast - leaving the shark a little over a quarter consumed - Timea turned into a bird, and flew off with Sibylla. Following the river downstream, Timea looked around for farms.

"What are we looking for? Want me to turn into a bird so I can fly around and look for whatever it is?" Topaz asked Shara.

Palladein

Shara would be told that the barges were loaded up the river, and that there was a road leading around the outer edge of the city, from the docks, to the barges.

Desert

As Timea flew over the desert, she would eventually approach Calibeth City. The area around it, particularly near the river, was covered in farmland and vegetation. The only exceptions to this were the area where the barges were loaded and unloaded, and three roads, one heading north, one east and one west, to Palladein.

"Or, you know, we could just not look at that book we got. Just make all of last night a complete waste of time. That's good too." Cybil irritatedly remarked to Robin.

"It's not a he. It gets real touchy 'bout that. But yeh, it's here."

"...point taken." Robin replied to Cybil, digging through his pack for the holy text. When he found it, he started looking though for info.

At Sibylla's response, Timea let out a small "hmm", then said, "Well, nice to know you're still being looked after. Though my stance on needing to know how to take care of yourself still stands."

Looking at her arms, rotating the forearms to look from different angles, Timea was satisfied with her level of cleanliness, and got out of the water. Turning around, Timea looked back to Sibylla, saying, "And speaking off, you've got most of the dirt off, now, so just give your face and snake friends a wash, and you can get out."
Presently

Seeing the sudden and drastic change in environs in the distance, Timea looked on with some confusion, wondering how such a drastic change could happen.

"We're close to the farms now" she announced, beginning to descend. "Once I've dropped you off, you should ask about if anyone knows about travelling between worlds. Neither of us might not be in much of a hurry to leave, but it would still be good to know. You should also ask about the wildlife, and how to make fire. While you're doing that, I'll be looking for a cave we can use as a home."

As Robin read through the book, he would find explanations of rituals to evoke the gods. The book itself would list three deities. The first was Calibeth, the Sun God, whose rituals largely dealt with fire, light and warmth, and whose symbol was a flaming sword. The second was Avinah, the Earth Goddess, whose rituals were mostly related to healing and medical care, food growth and preparation and protection of the home, with the symbol of a needle. The last was Faotar, the Hunter, whose rituals were mostly related to physical strength and endurance, and who had the symbol of an eye.
Faotar was noted to be a deity worshiped almost exclusively in the north, and the divide was clear in the forms of the rituals. Many rituals of Calibeth and Avinah involved prayer, standing a vigil, burning incense and, very rarely, making a blood sacrifice. The few rituals of Faotar that were listed in the book all involved carving symbols into the worshiper's own skin.

Robin relayed the information to the others, grimacing as he described the rituals of Faotar. "I feel we won't be doing that, but Heno's incense will come in handy." He looked to see if there was any info on what spells the followers of the gods could perform.

You thank the person you asked, then head back and inform the others what he told you before heading off in that direction yourself.

"Well shit, it's trash." Anik said about the book, kind of annoyed that she could not read it herself.

Then she followed Shara.

Robin would learn about the ritual to ignite a blade, performed by bleeding on the blade in question and praying to Calibeth for his fire. He would also learn that the healing miracle the priestess had performed was a blessing placed on the bandages, which was applied to the bandages by burning the petals of a native flower, and applying the ash to the bandage, also while praying.
The first spell of Faotar listed involved cutting an endless knot design into one's own chest, over the sternum, to allow the worshiper the endurance to travel long distances on foot, without tiring as fast as a normal person.
Other rituals included praying to Avinah for thirteen hours, over a set of three candles, without standing, lying down, or sleeping, in order to ward dangerous creatures away from your home. The book also specified that the worshiper could not sleep for a day before performing the ritual, and that it must be performed at night.

Yeager would have been reasonably impressed with the caves, but he was very unhappy to learn that when he tried to talk to the group he had no voice. Enraged, in fact. He liked his voice. He wanted it back. But, for now, visibly angry, he walked over to a wall and tapped on the crystal, observing it.

"Alright, I've found instructions for driving away dangerous creatures, healing magic and enchanting weapons with flame. There's also one for tirelessness, but that requires self mutilation." Robin told the others. He followed Shara, reading as he walked, relying on the others to tell him if he was going to bump into something.

OoC: Off for a bit.

"The rituals of Farotar might help me, actually. Are there any descriptions of these symbols to be carved into the skin, or where they would be on the body?" Aqua asked Robin.
