Sibylla nodded to Timea and submerged her head beneath the water, this only lasted for a moment though as her snakes made it very obvious to her they did not like this. Feeling it wasn't worth a second attempt, she made due and left the river, wringing out her tunic as best she could and put it back on.

Later

"So thas' where we goin'? Ahlright, ah kin do that."

[color=9f2089]"Well that's not particularly helpful."[/color] Cybil groaned to herself as she listened to Robin read off the book.

Earlier​

"There we go", Timea commented as Sibylla walked out of the river. "Now, your scales have a shine to them, again. It looks nice", she added, sincerely, but with less mirth in her voice then usual.

Turning around, Timea went to dig up the shark carcass. "We'll have our morning meal, then we'll head out and see what we can accomplish today."

Presently​

"We're about to land, so hold on!" Timea announced, nearing the ground. After the usual rough-ish landing, Timea bended through her avian knees, almost laying down, to allow Sibylla an easier time to get out of the chest pouch. "The farm land is straight ahead. Do you think you can find your way there?" she asked.

Once you reach the barge dock, you survey your choice of transport. A ferry would be ideal, you think, but you are unsure how common those are in this world.

Matilda followed the others, listening to Robin's descriptions of the various rituals curiously.

Shara would see that all of the barges were small riverboats, carrying crates and other such things to and from the city.

"The symbols are described here... quite vividly..." Robin told Aqua, a little disturbed. He looked at Cybil. "These are only some of the gods. The others might hold more powers."

Tapping on the crystal would, obviously, produce no sound. It would feel smooth, and slightly warm, with the edges of the crystal being dull enough that Yeager wouldn't hurt himself. The crystal would also be very hard and resilient, though there would be no way for Yeager to test this to see just how tough they were.

[color=0066cc]"Well, I've got some bad news,"[/color] - You say; [color=0066cc]"There doesn't seem to be any riverboats large enough to carry us all, unless the cargo was dumped. That means this trip will get expensive, I think."[/color]

Robin flipped to the pages and passed Aqua the book, then looked to Shara. "We have money."

 

[Furioso]

Yeager looked around to see if anyone was watching him. If he had a chance, the blade part of his scythe would flip out and he would try to hit a part of the crystal, taking advantage of the lack of sound. If the area was too populated to do so, he would head towards the water.

Sibylla slithered out onto the ground, thankful Timea was helping her out with the task. "Ah kin move in a straight line jus' fahne." She replied to Timea as she headed off in the direction she was pointed in.

Aqua looked at the symbols, and if any of them were said to grant protection or durability, they would soon appear on her 'skin' on the appropriate location.

Aqua would be unable to find any such symbols. Aside from the endurance one, she would find a ritual stating that, by carving three parallel, slightly wavy lines into the upper arms, a worshiper would be granted increased strength.

Calibeth City

The only other people in the cave with Yeager was the group he had entered with, and none of those people were looking at him. As he struck the wall with his scythe, he would see that nothing had happened to the crystals. Depending on how much force he put into the blow, his scythe would be more at risk of being damaged than the crystals were.

 

[Furioso]

Naturally, Yeager would not make a weapon so easily damaged, and his weapon was fine. He turned away from the crystals and went to see what the group he came in with was doing.

 

[Silence]

"I think I can pay for the trip to the city at least." Anik answered Shara.
"Let's try one gold coin and see how far this gets us."

 

[Chungus]

"All right, I'll come get you when I found something. And remember what I told you about the blind fold" Timea called out with a voice that was slightly above speaking levels, as Sibylla slithered off. Rising back to her feet, Timea ran for a couple of steps, then jumped up and took to the sky again. Making a U-turn, she headed back towards the mountain range.

Once there, she continued looking around for a cave.

You reply to Cybil that there are many barges, but all might not be heading to the capital city. When Anik offers to pay, you tell her to go ahead if she wants to.

Aqua formed the three lines on her arms. [color=66CCFF]"I doubt that will help much, but it might alleviate some suspicions. I still don't exactly fit in around here."[/color] She said, handing the book back to Robin.

Timea would still be unable to find any caves in the mountain range.

Yeager would see that the pilgrims were mostly kneeling, perhaps praying, and looking at the walls.
