After hearing Timea talk a second time, Anik gave a genuine, bitter, laugh.
"I think there are better ways to do an assassination than sending a blind person to the guards in front of the palace, to try warning people about an incoming danger. I, in fact, serve justice, but I haven't even figured out what the just thing to do is right here. Well, apart from warning the ruler of the country about an ancient, hateful, being, and informing him of the arrival of other people from other worlds.
I can serve you or I can just leave, my warning was heard now, I would think. I will not do anything against your laws."

Yeager nodded "That I am, until now I didn't know there were others, what a fascinating turn of events! I thank you for this conversation, it was most illuminating." replied Yeager.

[color=9f2089]"Well I've trained with Shinai, which aren't actually real swords, more of a practice and sport kinda thing."[/color] She answered Matilda.

"And you know I am a... " Timea began to respond, slowing down a talking near the end of her sentence. "Quote-on-quote ancient, hateful being, how, exactly?" she finished asking, placing mocking emphasis on "ancient, hateful being". "More over, if you're blind, why did you call me "Old One", when you have no way of knowing how old I look? How can you find your way around, without effort? And finally, why carry two swords? Not for cutting vegetables, I'm sure."

[color=006d5b]"Like fencing?"[/color] Matilda asked. Robin would find that Matilda was fairly proficient with longswords, staves and handguns, though he probably wouldn't know what a handgun was.

Califorth sighed. "I'm hearing a lot of accusations, but I'm seeing very little proof." he said, looking from Timea to Anik as he spoke.

 

[Silence]

"I listen to your heart, to know you're not young, I listen to my surroundings to find my way, and I judge you hateful, because of your behaviour towards me.

And these swords serve the same thing I serve, not random fancies. I said I serve justice, and the swords will too.

That said, if you think you should be concerned about them, take them away from me. I mean no harm, and so I won't need to use them until I leave the city again." she said to Califorth.

 

[Chungus]

"Logic with so many holes in it, it could by all rights be used as a sieve", Timea responded, almost dismissively. She would say more, but kept her silence to let Califorth speak, crossing her arms, and standing by.

"I can examine people. Find out what they're proficient at." Robin told Cybil, then looked back to the weapons. "How much for those?" he asked, pointing to a longsword and a curved sword.

 

[Silence]

"I just think you never met a blind person before. Quite disappointing, I had expected more wisdom from someone so old." Anik spew out before waiting for Califorth to speak again.

Califorth sighed again, and waved his hand. The guards turned and started walking away, with the Prince just behind them. "You're both free to go. Sort out whatever issues you have with each other. Preferably without violence."

"You can have them both for one gold coin each." the smith replied.

Robin looked to the bar, then back to the smith. "I don't suppose you have change?"

Timea didn't reply to Akin, instead looking to Califorth with an eyebrow raised, asking, "That's it? These spouting of severe accusations are just dismissed, if nothing? What's stopping her from simply continuing on, here, or in other parts of this land?" she quested, irritatedly. "I don't rightly appreciate being painted as a monster."

The smith nodded, and handed Robin both swords, and 28 gold coins, in exchange for the bar.

"That's your problem. She's not breaking any laws." Califorth replied, as he left the building.

[color=9f2089]"Yeah, actually. Same basic idea as fencing, but with a different style."[/color] Cybil replied to Matilda.

[color=9f2089]"Huh. Alright then."[/color] She said with a shrug to Robin, not seeming terribly off-put any longer.

 

[Silence]

"Thank you." Anik said. "Just be careful. Could I know who I spoke too? Kind of annoying not being able to see it."

After receiving an answer, Anik would speak to Timea:
"No worries, most people will probably see you as a god, not a monster."

 

[Kirke]

You thank the bartender and pay for the drink with your last few coppers. While enjoying said drink, you consider the information given to you. When you are done with both tasks, you tell Topaz and the other group-members in the inn that you'll head to the market and relay what you've learned.

 

[Chungus]

Timea frowned upon hearing Califorth's answer, but said nothing further. Anik might hear Timea's breathing become more controlled, in the same after Timea's initial angered outburst. Adding to this was that she would likely sense Timea's heart feeling more angry. Though, in the grand scheme of things, not by much; like a droplet falling into a bathtub.

"Glorious days", she responded dryly to Anik after calming herself down, her voice not betraying her mood.

"I'm Prince Califorth." the prince said to Anik, before leaving. "And I always am careful."

After Califorth left the building, Timea would try to grab Anik's shoulder, not hard enough for it to hurt, but firmly enough that she wouldn't be able to easily break free of the hold. Whether she was successful in grabbing Anik or not, she would say; "Now, the two of us have a lot to talk about, don't we?"
