[Silence]

Without a word, Anik stood up, and went to the people she had spoken to before, by feeling their hearts. She talked to them, trying to make sure they would not believe her to be a god, or some other ancient being.

At last, she went to the guards, talking to them in a serious tone:

"I was wrong, there is no danger. There is no new god. The one I warned you about before, she does mean no harm. Be sure to pass this information along."

Similar, huh? I think I would have better wishes.

EMily would inspect the goods, looking at what various hot weather clothing was available.

Robin got some clothes for the desert, for himself and the others, knowing all their sizes. He let Shara go it alone when getting the undergarments.

 

[Chungus]

"If I meant you harm, I wouldn't exactly have quietly left to mind my own business", Timea stated, shaking her head. The rebutal still lack the condemning or half-mocking undertones such a response from her would normally carry. "Please... ."

With that said, and not at all in the mood to deal with Aqua, Timea would inform Sibylla it was time to move on, then walk away.

Aqua just watched as Timea walked away, then slowly walked back to find the others.

Aqua would find Robin quickly if she walked around town.

"What was all that about?" Jane asked Emily as she looked the clothes over with little interest.

 

[Slenn]

EMily picked up the clothing Robin got for her and stowed it in her satchel, folded up. She told him she wanted something in a shade of blue.

"From what I can gather, Anik was concerned about her own morality. So she had Matilda check on it. I'm not too sure about the other lady, since I haven't spoken to her much. I do admit I was curious by what Matilda meant by Anik being the same as most people. Perhaps, in some sense, that almost everyone always questions their morality. Makes sense to me. Humans come in various shapes, sizes, and with it, various moralities and personalities."

She drew a breath.

"I'm also quite curious as to how Matilda quantifies morality. Maybe she has a set standard in her head and that translates onto her...ahem.. abilities." She said, not trying to give away the idea that Matilda might have 'magic.'

Aqua followed Robin when she found him, but remained quiet. She looked at the ground as she walked, obviously upset.

Topaz continued walking on rooftops, I guess.

Robin looked back at Aqua. "Are you alright?"

Aqua quickly looked up at Robin. [color=66CCFF]"What? Oh, yes, I'm fine."[/color]

"...are you certain?" he asked.

[color=66CCFF]"No."[/color] She said, then turned away from him. [color=66CCFF]"Can we just move on?"[/color]

"I apologise." Robin said hastily, backing off a little.

[color=9f2089]"Well that was weird. And kinda boring."[/color] Cybil muttered to herself as she went to helping the others shop. She insisted on clothing that was easy to move around in, along with things she could use to hide her kitty features.

Sibylla didn't bother regarding anyone else in the market, since they didn't bother noticing her either. She related the information she received to Timea, informing her, "We still gotta git summa that flint'n whutnot."

 

[Chungus]

"We have having nothing to trade with, so we won't be able to get any here. But, if these stones can be found in the mountains, having a look at them will at least tell us what to look for.", Timea answered Sibylla, stopping, and looking around the market place for a stall that sold outdoor necessities. "Did you ever learn about anything on the situation with outworlders like ourselves?"

 

[Silence]

Anik walked through the city, near the palace, where she thought the richest part of town was. She asked someone:

"Excuse me, could you lead me to the best shop for clothing or the best tailor in the city? I need new clothes."

 

[Kirke]

After half an hour or so, you are satisfied with your clothing. You've bought another roughspun tunic and trousers similar to what you're already wearing, a few pairs of socks, a couple of loincloths and a white shawl to protect against the sun. You specifically chose as simple and cheap clothing as possible, but you still feel ashamed of yourself as you push the clothing into your rucksack.

Robin noticed Shara's shame. "Are you alright?"

Sibylla shook her head at Timea. "Nah, folks 'round here said they ain't heard'a nuthin' like that happenin' b'fore."
