The bag should be large enough to hold some proviant and my other clothings. It shouldn't be too large, obviously."

When she felt the other being in the room, she said:
"Huh? I've heard something. Is there someone else in this room?"

"Well, you rub them against a piece of metal, to make a spark. And that ignites the tinder. How do you not know this?" the shopkeeper replied, confused.

"Understood." the tailor said, as she began getting clothes that would fit Anik's specifications. "There's just my cat."
The cat slowly approached Anik, making a gentle jingling sound as he walked, and sniffed her.

You only grunt in response to Robin, but when Aqua speaks you decide to speak. [color=0066cc]"Oh, but there is. In the six years since I bought my first ship I have never been relying on somebody else. I've fought countless opponents on and over dozens of worlds. And now I have trouble getting my trousers on in the morning, trousers that I couldn't even afford to buy. There is a lot of shame in falling so far."[/color] - You practically spit this out, annoyed at being patronized. When you are done, you turn to head to the inn. A drink or five, you think, would be perfect now. You're once again reminded of your pitiful situation when you realise that you probably can't even afford a glass of water.

"Oh. all right." Anik said. She felt around for the cat while waiting, and tried to stroke her.

 

[Slenn]

"Shucks. Looks like this is it for clothing." She said to herself.

"Let's try and find some food to go on the road."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The cat purred softly as Anik stroked him, before he scampered away. Anik would hear a few soft thuds from the corner of the room, followed by the sound of glass clinking against glass. All of this would be accompanied by the jingling sound.

Robin looked sombre when Shara explained her situation. He started following after her, but was ready to leave her be if she gave any sign she wanted to be alone.

"I've never start a fire with tools like these", Timea answered. Not feeling like explaining why she hadn't, Timea followed it up with another question, "Does it have to be metal the stone is struck against? It can be just another stone, can't it?"

[Silence]

Anik tried to lure the cat close to her again, by making Pssst sounds.

The cat hopped down to the floor and back over to Anik.

"You could hit it against a stone, too. Really, anything that makes a spark would work."

 

[Silence]

Anik began to stroke her again, then she hold the cat gently in place for a moment.

She whispered:
"You're not her cat, are you?"

 

[Chungus]

"Right, right... " Timea mused, then looked to Sibylla. "Well, Sibylla. This is more for you than it is for me. Do you need to know anything else?" she asked. Timea had other questions about starting a fire the conventional heself, but wanted to see what Sibylla could come up with, first.

After she asked the question, Timea glanced back in Topaz's direction, checking if he was still looking at her.

The cat purred softly, trying to get away from Anik. [color=32127a]Fuck me.[/color] he thought. Before he could do anything, however, the tailor walked back over, and offered Anik her clothes. "Here you go."

You do not acknowledge Robin, though you do not push him away either. You're frankly unsure of what you want right now, except for a drink. However, you also have to admit to yourself that you probably shouldn't be drinking now. After a while, and not yet having reached the inn, you stop. You look up at the sky and sigh, wishing the stars were out.

 

[Silence]

Anik let go of the cat, undressed herself, not caring if the cat was watching her, and tried the clothes on.

While doing so, she asked the tailor: "When did you get this cat?"

"A few weeks ago. He was a stray I found in the streets." the tailor replied. "How do the clothes fit?"
The cat sat back, looking at Anik suspiciously.

Robin kept up with Shara, not judging or saying anything, seeing she had to think things out.

Being too dumb to actually think to ask about how to start a fire, Sibylla shrugged and replied, "Nah, ah figure thas' about it."

"Hmm. Not quite. After the tinder is ignited, the flame still has to go to the wood to get a proper fire going", Timea pointed out, then turned back to the store keeper. "I think that's done by putting the wood in a pyramid configuration?" she asked, making a triangle with her fingers for emphasis.
