[Silence]

Anik answered EMily:
"Thanks. There is a tailor back down, near the palace. She got me these clothes.
... She even had perfume. A very good shop."

She noticed the cat had followed her. Slowly, she stepped near it.

 

[Slenn]

"You'll have to show it to me if we have the time before we go into the desert." She saw the cat and Anik approaching it. "Is that a stray cat?"

 

[ShindoL Shill]

[color=32127a]"Must be losing my touch..."[/color] the cat muttered as Anik approached him, just loud enough for people with sharp hearing to overhear. EMily would see that the cat was slightly larger than the average housecat, had black fur and was wearing a metal collar, with a bell on it.

 

[Silence]

"Gladly."
Anik then heard the cat talking. She called out:

"Hah. I KNEW it!". With these words, she dived onto the cat, trying to catch her.

 

[Chungus]

"So, to follow up on what I said before," Timea began as she walked, focusing less on her surroundings when she noted Topaz stopped following her and Sibylla. "I've been think on how many different types of worlds must be out there, if the people that came from that is any indication. So then, maybe there is one without any people on it. I'm not sure if I want to live here, and I definitely don't want to go back where I came from, so I do think I might look for such a place."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

[color=32127a]"Fuck!"[/color] the cat yelped, hopping up a wall and onto a rooftop. His collar began glowing with orange, fish-shaped symbols. [color=32127a]"What the hell is wrong with you, lady?"[/color]

 

[Silence]

Anik spat out dirt and called:

"Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you ... [small]I just wanted to cuddle...[/small]
Please accept my apology! I'm truly sorry!"

She did not know what had gotten into her.

 

[Slenn]

Slightly startled, EMily took a step back as the cat yelled some profanity.

Topaz saw the commotion with the cat, and decided to join in. Getting out of sight for a moment, he shapeshifted into a cat and then ran after the stray.

The glowing stopped as the cat hopped down. [color=32127a]"Well... seems I overreacted... And blew my cover. Dammit."[/color] he sighed.
[color=006d5b]"What's going on?"[/color] Matilda asked, very confused.

Sibylla glanced downwards in thought for a moment before answering Timea, "Ahlright, ah kin understand that."

Cybil meandered on over towards EMily and the others.

 

[Kirke]

It takes some time, but eventually you and Robin find your companions in the marketplace. You take a quick look at EMily's rather meagre supply of rations, and then tell her what you learned about the road ahead. You especially emphasize that you don't know how far away the forest is, nor if there is any civilization in between. Then, you ask who that food is for.

OoC: Seriously, I'd eat all that in a day.

Robin waved to EMily, Cybil and the others as he and Shara approached.

 

[Chungus]

"You can?" Timea questioned, somewhat surprised. She decided that it was a good time to follow up on a topic she had on her mind, asking, "The night before, you mentioned that things were, really crazy before you left, as you said? Did that make you understand wanting to be alone?"

 

[Slenn]

"If we don't know how far away it is, then I'll triple the amount of food. I was also going to get water as well."

OOC: @Kirke. Unless you have a 10 gallon stomach, no you can't.

 

[Silence]

Anik said to the cat:
"You blew your cover before you overreacted. Well, I probably would have reacted similar. What's your name?"

Then she said to Matilda:
"It seems like we have a cat now."

Then she told the others:
"I can get some more food, too. I'm coming with."

Speedy was watching the cat. Finally, he said:
"Finally someone in a more reasonable size! What's your species? Do you have high-tech stuff? Are you fast?"

The cat looked around, spotting Robin, Shara and Cybil approaching. [color=32127a]"Friends of yours?"[/color] he asked Anik. He then replied, [color=32127a]"Call me Mochán."[/color] Hearing Speedy, he looked around, his eyes finally settling on the hamster. [color=32127a]"Cat, yes, and I can be."[/color]
[color=006d5b]"Oh... The cat is talking, right?"[/color] Matilda asked.

Robin looked over as he heard a new voice, only seeing a cat. He shrugged.

"Yeh. Yeh it really did." Sibylla replied to Timea after some thought.

Cybil crouched down next to the talking cat. [color=9f2089]"Caaaaaat. Talking cat."[/color] She muttered to herself, appearing mesmerized.
