"Maybe you should try some of my magic." Robin suggested to Emily, then turned to Jane. "...no."

"You'd have to teach me as I can't read the book you gave me."

"I do agree with Jane, though, at least in terms of a workout. I mean, I did ballet dancing when I was a kid." She pointed to the lower half of her legs, which had some considerable muscle in comparison to her arms. "You see these thighs? They didn't get that way overnight. Some of my sisters do cardiovascular workouts on bikes."

"Come on, you don't want to be a shrimp like Homer your whole life do you?" Jane said with a grin.

"What's a bike?" Robin asked EMily, then looked at Homer, admitting Jane had a point.

Since Homer apparently completely lost interest in the conversation, Cybil went and jogged on ahead.

 

[Slenn]

"It's a vehicle with two wheels, you use your legs to move it. I can pull up a picture on Photon. We're far away from the city that I can pull this out, so I don't have to worry about this being interpreted as magic."

Photon materialized, and EMily pulled up a picture of a bicycle. She pointed to various parts.

"You sit there, and you use your legs to pedal. And the pedals spin the back wheel, while you steer the front wheel."

Homer had spaced out, thinking about engineering things, when he realized he had missed Cybil talking to him. So he tried to catch up to her to apologize.

"...interesting." Robin mused, fascinated by both the bike and the computer.

 

[Slenn]

"In my history books, it's said that two bike mechanics were the people to create the first working flying machine. They must've had a lot of spare time." She chuckled.
That was over a thousand years ago for me.

"A flying machine?" Robin sounded astounded.

 

[Demonjazz]

Heno seemed to ignore EMily with being much more interested in Robin at the moment. "Martial arts is a type of hand to combat... Also you could do with putting more meat on bones. You are like very tiny railing pole."

 

[Slenn]

"I can show you late since I don't want to diverge the topic of this conversation too much. When we get to a cooler environment, you could do some running for exercise."

"I didn't...say anything...yet. But I am sorry. I'm thinking about how to build Shara a new, better replacement limb." Homer said, puffing as he was not very fit.

"I'll hold you to that." Robin smiled to EMily, then looked at Heno. "Hand to hand wouldn't be useful to me. Thought I admit I need a bit more muscle..."

"How is hand to hand not useful? What would you do if I walked over there and tried th punch you?" Jane asked as she held up her fist for emphasis.

[color=9f2089]"Sorry, I can get a bit ahead of everything else sometimes."[/color] Cybil slowed her pace to walking as she saw Homer struggling to keep up. [color=9f2089]"Don't think I can really help you with that. I mean, my Mom had a pretty good one, but she was from some place waaay more advanced than this."[/color]

"I don't think it will be easy, but I'd like to try it. Can you tell me about the one your mother had?" Homer asked, looking for more insight, since he didn't really know what he was doing.

"Calm down. I didn't say I would." Jane responded to Aqua.
