"Sorry, I don't really know much about it." Cybil scratched the back of her head and awkwardly looked away. "Mom didn't like talking about it much. Plus it was crazy advanced, you could hardly tell it wasn't a replacement most of the time."

"Yeah, sorry..." Cybil continued looking around aimlessly at the desert, already finding the sight of it boring. "Honestly, unless you can figure out a way to hook something up to her brain so she could control it the same as a regular arm, what she's got now is about as good as she could even get for the next... I dunno, several centuries, I'm guessing? Maybe a millennia?"

"So, now you know the plans for today", Timea said, looking over her shoulder, back towards the city to see how far she and Sibylla had moved from it. Judging it wasn't yet far enough to take flight without being seen, she looked back to Sibylla.

"So, here is a question for you: Let's pretend the city isn't right behind us, and we're in the middle of the desert, it's all flat ground, no elevations. Now, a sandstorm hits. What do you do?" she questioned.

Anik stayed silent for a while longer, then she said:
"Give me a message to the others then, so they know you're not dead. I will follow them, and maybe I will come to Vesh some time. If this world gets the weapons from other worlds, distance might not mean that much anymore."

Speedy said:
"Okay, then we run around the city, to Palladein, and back again. How much time do you expect it takes for you?"

"Uhm... Curl up and hope ta naht die?" Came Sibylla's response, her having no idea whatsoever how to handle the situation.

"Tell them that I wish them good luck, and that I hope to meet them again some day." - You reply, before adding that she probably shouldn't mention what had happened. With that, you say good bye to Anik, and continue up the road north. You know the weeks and days ahead of you will be tough, but you only need to think of the purpose of them to assuage your worries.

Anik wished good luck and good bye to Shara as well, then went back to the city.

She avoided the hearts of guards as far as she could, grabbed the bag she had left near the marketplace, and headed out east again, thinking that it would probably not take much time to catch up with such a big, constantly undecided, group.

And I know that it is time for me to learn as well.

"That's a good start!" Timea responded, encouraging. "Unless your destination was within sight when the storm hits, you should always wait out the storm. If you try to move through it, chances are you'll just get yourself horribly lost. If one is coming towards you, don't try to out-run it, either. Curling up is also good, the less of you is exposed, the better. So lay down on your side.

Once on the ground, you'll want to protect your head, and those of your snakes, otherwise, sand could get into your nose and mouth, suffocating you. So what to do is take your dress, and cover your head with it. And that's all you can do. It's not the ideal, but the best you could make out of a bad situation"
she explained, slowing down her talking a little to make the information easier to take in. "Did you get all that?"

It took Sibylla several moments to respond, as she was still processing all the information Timea had given her for a while after she finished. "Uhm, ah think so, yeh."

"Actually, I think I can make something slightly more advanced than what she has now using pressure plates and hydraulics. I'll take a lot of testing and calibration though." Homer explained.

"Good, we're going somewhere."

Looking over her shoulder again, Timea judged she was now far enough away from Calibeth City to take flight without being seen. Stopping, she turned into pouched falcon form again. "Speaking of which, it's time to take a flight", she stated, crouching down to a near lying position to allow Sibylla an easier time to get in the pouch.

Once Sibylla got in, Timea got up, took a running start, then began flying towards Pallendein. During the flight, she asked, "Oh, I've been meaning to ask; How good is your hearing and sense of smell?"

"Uhm, 'bout as good as anyone else's ah s'pose." Sibylla answered, seeming a bit off-put by the question.

"Hmm. Well, we'll have to see if we can't hone them a bit", Timea mused aloud, then thinking to herself she wasn't sure how to do that. From sibylla's voice, Timea could tell she wasn't very happy with the line of questioning, but considered it important enough to keep on it for the time being. "Have you ever tried getting your power under control?"

"Yes ah've tried." Sibylla answered, sounding insulted by Timea's insinuation. "Doesn't work though. Ah ain't in control..."

"I'm sorry if these questions make you uncomfortable. But it's important that I know these things. I don't know what the best way to teach while working around your limitations without knowing exactly what they are. So I have to ask, understand?" Timea stated, looking down towards Sibylla.

The man sitting directly opposite Yeager leaned forward. "This technology that can move ships, and destroy our enemies, sounds very appealing. Currently, the biggest problem we face is a poorly equipped navy." he said. "If we can improve our ships, I see no reason not to resume our conquest." The King, and the man on Califorth's other side, both nodded in agreement with this.

"The weapon Yeager demonstrated showed remarkable versatility. It appeared to be a weaponised piece of farming equipment, however it also had a ranged capability, almost like a crossbow." Califorth stated. Hearing this, the others present all looked rather impressed.

"I do have a question." said the man sitting on the right of the King said. "How long would it most likely take to produce these things? We can't start a war without our weapons, now can we?"
