Robin and Speedy would see that the group was still in the desert which, they may deduce, was not a forest.

 

[Silence]

"I could run ahead and look for something other than sand." Speedy said.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Go ahead." Robin said, regretting his heavy coat in the desert.

 

[Silence]

Speedy warned the others about the incoming BANG and raced ahead, roughly a minute, stopping somewhere 30 km further.

Speedy would find himself in a sand dune. However, he would notice some trees up ahead and, not too far off, a small village.

Speedy raced back, then told the others:

"I saw some trees! And a village! You only need to walk ..." he calculated in his little head, "like 7 hours longer!"

[color=006d5b]"Oh, only seven hours. I was worried it would be a really long journey, though a desert, in the middle of they day."[/color] Matilda said, her tone suggesting she wasn't very happy about this news.

"Perhaps we should make camp, wait the hottest part of the day out." Robin suggested.

"I concur." Anik said. "Do you have something we could use as protection against the sun?"

"Oh, come on. Taking even longer? Maybe I should wait in the village."

Robin took off his coat. "Not much more than this."

Homer and Jane drank some water, undoing their uniforms a bit to beat the heat.

"Eh, at least there aren't any sand storms or giant tanks shooting at us." Jane said, speaking from her experiences in the seater dessert.

"Well, we have like 5 mages here or something. Maybe someone could speed it up." Anik said.

Speedy ran off again, arriving at the village a minute later. There, he walked into the village at normal hamster speed, looking around.

"I don't have any transportation spells." Robin said. He looked to Homer and Jane. "Can you pass the water?"
