Robin half expected Cybil to start purring, and quietly read his tome as Aqua carried him.

"Pff. Freeloaders." Jane grumbled as she put her canteen away.

Homer walked over to Robin an offered his canteen.

"I'm sure she'd carry you too if you asked nicely." Robin said to Jane, then took the drink from Homer. He had a sip, trying not to drink too much, and handed the canteen back with a thankful smile.

As Speedy looked inside, he would see the two men sitting at a table. Before either of them could say anything, however, the green-eyed man pointed over at Speedy. "What is that thing?" he asked.

"We should probably head back soon." the guard commented. "Is there anything else you'd like to ask about, first?"

"Nah." Jane said with a dismissive wave.

"You can hold onto it." Homer offered.

[color=9f2089]"Says the lady who refused to help us row earlier today."[/color] Cybil ribbed Jane.

"Thank you." Robin said to Homer, capping the flask. He looked to Jane pointedly. "Cybil has a point. Why the change of heart?"

 

[Silence]

Speedy cowered and hoped the people would do nothing.

The green-eyed man walked over to Speedy and picked him up, looking straight into his little hamster eyes. "Never seen anything like this creature before. It's not even worth eating, it's so small."

 

[Silence]

Speedy wanted to play dead, but he let out a little squeak when he heard 'eating'.

Jane muttered quietly, clearly annoyed.

"No, honestly. I'm curious." Robin sounded genuine. "Are you alright?"

"Shut up." Jane said to Robin hotly, obviously not happy about being questioned.

"...I apologise." Robin said solemnly, curious but realising Jane didn't want to talk.

"I'm fine, thanks. Let us head back, ja?" responded Yeager.

Cybil just waited for the journey to be over, since clearly nothing else was going to happen with it.

At the priestess' reply, Timea stared at her with a very confused look on her face. She wanted to ask more on the topic out of curiousity, but kept herself from doing so so to not side-track the conversation. "Right... Well, when I crossed from Kaisir to here, I noticed the moon disappearing from the sky in the blink of an eye, she began, pausing with a wry smile at her accidental rhyming. "What ever caused this?"

As Yeager and the guard headed back to the meeting room, they would see the door open as the woman stepped out. Yeager would likely notice she had a slightly worried expression on her face, as she closed the door behind herself.

"The moon can't be seen in Calibethan territory, at least not at this time of year." the priestess replied. "But it is visible everywhere else. And, from what I've heard, it never sets in Vesh."

The man carried Speedy over to the table, and placed him down, staring at him curiously. "Mikka, have you ever seen one of these before?" he asked.
Mikka leaned in, looking at Speedy closely. "It looks kinda like a rat... but different"

She chuckled. "I'll take that as a compliment." She then gave Aqua a coy wink. "But I wouldn't be so cocky Aqua. You and I have only seen a fraction of each other's technological capabilities, so neither of us has the right to brag about anything."

 

[Chungus]

At the priestess' response, Timea let out a "hmm". She wanted to ask about Vesh, but again, held of on doing so, committing the topic to memory to ask someoone else about, later. "Now that I've mentioned Kaisir, I've heard that there is a difference between Kaisiri gods and Calibethian gods? Why the distinction? Aren't the effects of the pantheons felt the world over?"
