Cybil and Sibylla continued to not have anything to actually react to or any ability to do anything at all.

Robin would find nothing unusual about the town. It consisted of wooden huts, and was located on the edge of a swamp to the east and a desert to the west, but otherwise seemed fairly normal.

Heno nodded to Aqua. "Yeah, we've come pretty far... Now we have sticks with pointy metal attached to the end of it."

"Well, humans are multidimensional thinkers. At most they're quasi-predictable. The only thing that's been constant so far is our biology. Our minds were the exact same as the first humans 1 million years ago. The only difference is our collective knowledge base. And every technological advancement has brought its fair share of evils and goods. The most advanced thing we have is Markus, who is considered by many to be the first trans-human. He's lived for over 500 years since the middle of the Germ Wars and has been evolving his consciousness since with the advancement of quantum and optical fiber computers being linked up to his brain. He no longer has a human body, as his consciousness exists in a machine that's built to emulate the human mind down to individual neurons. What he sees is far beyond any normal human can reach. Others like him are known to predict the weather down to the cubic centimeter. Their computational and human thinking power is immense."

She shook a little.
"I've met him before and it sometimes scares me to think about him because of his abilities. Even though he's done so much good. He and the other trans-humans can cure mental disabilities in an instant and have helped humanity survive with remembering events and history down to the second. Geez."

While Homer quite enjoyed the debating, Jane was getting ready scream at everyone to stop. Instead, she marched further into the city, trying to get away from everyone.

The robot continued moving itself up to the surface the molten glass beginning to bubble more the further it went up. It wasn't long until the rest of the arm emerged, followed by a head and shoulders. The way the glass stuck to the head indicated it had plating, as did a part of the shoulder, and a small bit of it on the right side of the robot's neck. Blue light could be seen shining through the glass dripping down the front of the head.

The head moved around, making soft hissing noises as the pneumatics in the neck moved. Then, the robot began wiping away the glass from its the front of its head with its free hand, showing the plating to be split into two parts; a face plate, which covered the robots forehead and what would be the upper jaw in a human, and the second covering the rest of the head. The face plate had two holes for the optical sensors, and was gnarled, partially eroded away at the top, around the eye holes, and on the left side, particularly at the jaw area, making the robot look like it had a mouth. The heat from the molten glass transferred to the metal, making it impossible to tell what colour the plating was, currently.
With most of the glass removed, it could be seen the light was coming from the eyes and under the "mouth".

With its vision clearer, the robot looked around more, it's gaze settling on Yeager.
Code:
"What. Is. This. Where am. I?"
it asked, speaking with a deep, masculine voice that had a electronic buzz to it.

Yeager was a bit taken aback. In his experience, robots didn't question, let alone talk. "Vell aren't you a strange robot, programmed to react to your surroundings hmm? I'll tell you where you are, you're in an uncivilized hell hell hole of a planet full of God fearing, violent simpletons who've barely figured out how to smelt metal." he said bitterly.

Although it did help, it seemed Timea's kind words didn't have as much of an affect on Hillary's mood as she'd probably hoped, the little one still seemed rather glum. "Well... Things haven't been going so well. I, don't really know what to do." She said, holding the charm in her hand a bit closer to her chest. "I was trying to get to the temple thingy to ask if they knew anything, but I kept getting lost. Why are you here, I thought you said this place was dangerous?" Hillary asked, now looking more up to Timea, her polished face reflecting the sun rather nicely, although not quite mirror quality.

The Gems followed everyone else into the city, both looking at the villagers. Aqua was checking if any could be dangerous or seemed possibly hostile, while Topaz made plans to spread chaos or something.

User will also continue calling it a city because it annoys Trilby.

Magic Eye would map out the town in its 3D map using an infrared laser to scan.

OOC: I guess we're stopping the technology talk.

Aqua would find absolutely nobody that looked dangerous to anything larger than a fish or other small animal. As the group looked around, the would see a couple of the residents were not Calibethan. Instead, they resembled the people Speedy had stolen the flower from, with brown skin that had blue undertones, green eyes and an apparent hatred of shirts and footwear.

Finding that most of the city-dwellers were mere humans, Aqua turned back to EMily. [color=66CCFF]"Was that machine also originally a human?"[/color] She asked, pointing to Magic Eye.

After resting for a few minutes, you believe it time to start working to pay back the city inn for the food. You get up and go to find a servant, carrying your prosthetic with your hand. You also note that you have been sunburned on your arms, making for a curious pattern on your left arm where the straps covered up the skin. Your lower left arm also escaped being sunburned, but feels raw from being almost cooked inside the prosthetic.

The robot did seem to react to Yeager, silently moving further up, and closer to the edge of the hole. At the edge, the robot began to climb out. This revealed the rest of the robot was in as poor of a condition as its face and right arm, if not worse off; The only plating it had that Yeager hadn't seen already were on its right forearm and shoulder, and chest, the latter also largely having eroded away. In numerous places over the body, wires didn't connect to anything, dangling around, and if a lack of symmetry was any indicator, some parts were entirely misplaced, like a square peg being forced into a circular opening. This lead the robot to walk hunched over, with its knees bend inwards, and its right arm - which also was missing its hand - always bend slightly. With the poor state the robot was in, it could be called miraculous it worked at all.
From under the chest plate, where it was eroded away, a circular device could be seen that emitted a blue light similar to the one coming from its head.

The robot shambled over to Yeager, and would try to grab him by the collar of his suit, and would lift him off of his feet if successful. Although with its sluggish movement, the likelihood of that was slim.
Code:
"I. Am not some empty drone, running on an algorithm!"
It said, regardless of its attempts to grab Yeager would succeed. From its tone of voice, it seemed offended, angered, even.

Looking down to Hillary as the sunlight reflected off of her face, Timea said nothing for a while, only looking over the lustrous patterns on the metal. It was a while until Timea caught herself doing this, whereupon she happily said, "Well, you look positively radiant! So at the very least, that's nice, no?" After this, Timea smiled to Hillary again, and added, "It could be dangerous, but that's why we're being careful. It worked so far."

"No, but its intelligence is complex as a chimpanzee. There are machines out there with intelligences equal to humans. Up until 500 years ago for my civilization, machines didn't have intelligences more complicated than a dog's. Then, when the Germ Wars came, our understanding of the human brain changed dramatically. We began reverse engineering human brains from the details that Markus revealed through his uplinking to a quantum computer. Those brains and their descendants occupy machines with intelligence on the level of humans. They're rare, but they are quite amazing."

Yeager easily backed away from the robot. "Oh REALLY? Then vhat, exactly, ARE you?" he responded, intrigued and horrified by the implications of the robots words.

When Shara found a servant, she would be asked what skills she had, and be put to work cooking or cleaning, depending on her talents.
