Robin stuck his head out as well, seeing the heat had died down. "We're on the move!" He yelled to the others, then headed off.

EMily marched forward.

"This doesn't just apply to me, it applies to everything. What would be the point of the cycle of life if things lived forever? And if I were to live forever suddenly, who would I be to share my thoughts with at the end? I could solve problems with ease if I was immortal. Would I exist so long that eventually I would not care about anything? What would be the point of becoming immortal then?"

"I have bigger issues to deal with currently, but perhaps further down the line." the Prince replied. As he turned and walked back into the city he said, "Perhaps you should head to Vala, in the northwest, while you wait. You might find some interesting things there."

"You can't know until you do it. And, I'd say presuming you would simply stop caring is pessimistic, no matter how you cut it. That just seems like a lack of faith in your own capacity to care." Mochán replied. "That's not to say it's wrong, just pessimistic."

Yeager scowled as the Prince walked back inside. He waited for a few minutes before walking to where he dug around in the dirt, reached in, and pulled out a glowing red gem. Ignoring the Prince's words, he turned around and headed east.

As Timea walked along, a glint of light would catch her eye. Walking in the crowd of people was a semi familiar girl covered in what appeared to be a polished brass. The girl was holding one of the temple god trinket things and was looking around at the hustling crowd looking rather lost herself. It took her a second before her head turned and looked right at Timea before soon looking down at her metallic toes.

By her facial expression for the moment she looked at Timea, there was a mix of excitement to see a familiar face again, but also a reminder of how the two had parted and the bitterness that brought along.

"Maybe so, Mochán. But I have yet to be convinced otherwise. Reality's harsh."

"I agree with you, Aqua. But I don't think that magic breaks anything to begin with in the first place. It is just a mysterious part of our universe that has yet to be defined just like everything in the past that was considered magic. Infinite power for a lifetime? Yes. Infinite power to the end of time. That sounds like a huge claim to me that needs some big backing to show it."

Heno started packing up his things to continue the journey. "I know time is cyclic, just because I just do." Heno said simply to EMily.

Walking down the street, Timea looked around the the various people, while trying not to get her appetite aroused by the smells of fish and other foodstuffs, too much.

With how very much she stood out, it didn't take Timea very long to stop the girl, noting it wasn't a statue on account of her walking. Curious of it, Timea looked the girl over through the crowd, the charm the girl carried around eliminating any doubt about her identity.

"Hillary?" Timea called out with a voice a little above normal speaking level. While they parted on a sour note, Timea's voice didn't carry any animosity, still for the most part being her usual upbeat tone, only being off a little.

Giving Hillary a small wave, Timea began approaching her.

Eastern Calibethian desert

As Yeager would walk through the expanse of dunes, he would come to see a shimmer in the air. He might deduce this wasn't caused by heated air, as it stayed in one place, as he moved. Not long after this, however, the distortion in the air began to take on a more pronounced, spherical form, and after that, sparks began being generated at the sphere's centre.

Sparks then turned to electrical arcs. And finally, a fairly bright flash came forth, accompanied by am otherworldly sounding bursting.

Should Yeager look back to the spot where all this had taken place, he would now find a crater, several metres in diameter. It's depth couldn't be seen, as it was filled with molten glass, glowing orange with heat.

Although, strangely, the desert climate seemed to not affect Yeager, he was glad for the diversion. He peered into the crater.

Both of them just sorta went around following their respective people, being too boring and terrible to have anything else to do.

After almost seven hours of walking, the group would reach the town Speedy had found. The sun had moved across the sky, now in the southwest, though it wasn't setting yet. The barge Speedy had seen, and the people on it, were no longer there, though the Calibethan people such as Mikka were.
Far in the distance, across the swamp, some of the group members might see a few trees.

Yeager would not be stopped by anyone as he moved through the desert.

Looking both through the crowd, and as she approached Timea would be able to confirm that despite the different material, the girl was definitely Hillary. Her proportions, and face were virtually identical to how they'd been before although her hair was apparently wrapped up into buns near the back of her head, which aside from some definitional grooves looked like one solid mass. Otherwise she'd have no clothing, the autonomy of a barbie doll, and the slightest of dents that appeared to be possibly a belly button.

Hillary couldn't help but wave back to Timea as she approached, but didn't approach herself instead fidgeting with the charm she was holding and wiggling her toes. "H-Hi Timea..." Hillary eventually replied back once the two were much closer, Hillary not looking up to meet Timea's eyes for the moment.

"In any case, my point is that I don't think there's a limitless source of energy, based on what I've seen. Rocks age as well, so do crystals over millions of years. And they don't last forever."

She took a deep breath, desperate to change the topic of the conversation.
"Anyways didn't you have questions about human technology?"

As Yeager peered into the crater, for a time, he would see nothing but a black mass within the pool of glass, said material making it impossible to see any details, or even make out the shape of the mass.

Shortly after, however, Yeager could see jittery movement, and this was followed by a robotic hand of normal human proportions bursting from the pool, the glass drooping down the fingers. If the metal had a paintjob, it couldn't be be seen in its current state. The fingers of the hand moved in erratic ways, followed by more of the arm emerging. The forearm lacked anything in the way of a protective housing, a chassis, pneumatic joints, and wiring laying bare.

Approaching Hillary further, Timea a small smile on her face as the girl returned the wave. Stopping two paces in front of Hillary, Timea knelt down on one knee, giving a more bright smile after. "Why, hello", she began, then, more softly, added, "It's all right Hillary, you don't have to be nervous like that." At the spoke, Timea moved her hand to Hillary's face, and placed the tips of her index and middle finger under Hillary's chin. "Now why don't you tell me how you've been, hmm?"

"Yes, it's been about 6000 years since I've been to Earth, I was just curious about how far you may have advanced. Pointy sticks were the height of your accomplishments back then, but judging by that, you've come pretty far." Aqua said to EMily, pointing to Magic Eye.
