The Terminator looked over at the man who stepped forward, and then replied. "No. I am your ruler, and you will obey me or die." - While saying this, the Terminator looked around at the crowd again.

"Ten of you will come with me." - It said before selecting the ten strongest and bravest of the crowd, whereupon it added. "The rest of you will stay here and await further orders. Failure to comply will result in termination."

That road.
You nod in response to Alain, and elaborate by saying that you have encountered Matilda and EMily but that they headed east along with a group of others who had been warped here. You continue by explaining a few things about this world, like the general geography and monetary system. You also mention that magic is forbidden in Calibeth, but that he should be fine so long as he doesn't do anything too flashy near the cities.

She listened to Aqua speaking to the elves, as she had brought up a good point.

She then turned over, not amused by the use of the wastelander's words.
"Sally, are we trying to gain their tension again just after we put away our weapons? We're trying to gain an understanding, not terrify them."

Whitewood Forest

"If you want to help us, then you can do so by fighting with us. You don't have to if you don't want to." the elf stated. He then looked at Sally and said, "You can try talking with, if you wish." He looked a little uneasy, not sure what the implement Sally had taken out was but still assuming it was something dangerous.
[color=006d5b]"He wasn't lying, for the record. I can tell."[/color] Matilda stated.

"Food, shelter, safety... up there, the gods freely provide these things. Down here, they don't." the other elf told Anik. "And we have no idea why they did it."

Terminatorville

The townspeople decided to go along with what they were told, not wanting to be killed over something like this. The ten that had been selected approached the Terminator.

"Oh, alright. I hope we see them again. Why did you leave?"

Robin followed the others up, tome and sword in hand.

 

[Silence]

"Well, not like we have something better to do. This could be fun. Let's do it." Anik said, not really caring about Sally.

 

[Slenn]

"Sounds like a plan." She nodded in agreement.

 

[Wackymon]

Sally nodded to Matilda, "Good." she said, sheathing her weapon, "I've gone through shit like that in the past, I'd prefer not to go through it again."

She nods to the rest of the group, "Let's go." she said, starting to move out.

The village
The Terminator looked over the ten it had selected, and told them to gather any weapons they had, plus the supplies they would need to travel west. Looking to a person roughly its own size, it then added an order to bring a replacement for the damaged clothing along with a weapon for the Terminator.¨

You shrug and reply that you wanted to strike out on your own for a while, so you did.

OoC: Oh right, Alain probably would notice Shara having a prosthetic arm. She didn't have that last they met.

Whitewood Forest

The elves led the group into a tunnel, which was lined with various glowing flowers, illuminating the paths. The route they took started to go up, into the wood of the tree. Finally, they stopped in a small room, which had a ladder carved into the wall at the back, and a few other elves sitting around a table. On the table was a map, which appeared to be a cross-section of part of the tree, including branches. It labeled various areas as 'residential', 'food storage', 'kitchens' and other such things. By the wall were bows, shortswords and wooden shields, and a barrel with a wooden tap.
The elves who had led the group explained to the others who the newcomers were and why they were here. In response, one of the other elves picked up a mug and filled it with greenish fluid from the barrel. "If you're coming with us, you'll need to drink this." she said.

Village

The people complied, bringing the Terminator a change of clothes and a longsword. Each of them brought a longsword of their own, along with food and water.

Robin examined the mug cautiously. "What's in this?"

 

[Slenn]

"Same question." EMily said, looking at the fluid.

 

[Kirke]

Village
The Terminator took the longsword, quickly strapping it to it's belt. It then donned the new shirt on top of its old one. It then ordered the ten men to start moving west, before telling the rest of the village population: "I'll be back."

You chuckle and shake your head in response to Alain, then tell him that you do not mind, as you've already started to miss the company.
OoC: Heh, fair enough then!

"Let me guess- This is some sort of sap you all use to incapacitate people, or drive them raving mad. Yeah- I've seen this before." she said, sniffing the cup that held the fluid, trying to see if it was like the one in Oasis.
"And, while I'd understand if you all were cultists, why are you giving this to us, when we want to help you?"

"It's the liquid from inside all those glowing flowers. It's so you don't pass out on the climb up." the elf explained.

Taking a sniff, Sally would find that the fluid smelled quite bitter. In order to stop her from worrying, the two elves that had led the group there both drank from the cup.

Village

The villagers did as they were told, quietly praying to all the gods to ensure this would end without them and their village being slaughtered.

Sally nodded, and drank her serving, "So far, looking so good. I'm feeling fine." she said, "Let's go."

"Naht like it wasn't jus' gonna die on its own anyway. B'sides, how's killin' sumthin' naht gonna be disrespectin' it?" Sibylla replied to Timea as she followed along.
