"My contempories saw you guys carrying a weapon, and I think the nearby bog tried to eat me. Follow that out by three people who look nothing like anything I've ever seen, I'd prefer not to have arrows in my friends. You can replace your legs, but you can't replace allies."

Whitewood Forest

The second elf relaxed, but frowned at Aqua. "Maybe you should change your attitude, if you don't want people to think you're hostile. You earn the right for us to stand down by proving you aren't a threat; you have no right to demand we do so. This is not your land. You are the potential threat here."

The other looked at Sally, and said, "The Fennwynd can be dangerous to those unfamiliar with it. But anyway, I'm not sure how much help we can be. We've never heard of people falling into our world, as you put it."

"We had no right to intrude. But we had no knowledge of the exact nature of your borders until now. All of us are not from this world. We wish to know why some of us were brought here. So we're seeking out potential resources that might help us. I do enjoy solving problems too. Is there some way any of us can help?"

Sibylla was also unaware that she was being watched by a particularly vindictive rabbit. "Why? S'just gon die anyway. It ain't lahk it kin complain when it's in mah belly." She replied to Timea, not understanding her point.

"Define "civilisation". If there are people living in this... bog, civilised is a word I'd only use in the most loose way possible"

"Anyway. I saw a few things on the way here. A few stone towers, but they were falling apart at the seams, so I doubt anyone is living in or around them. I also saw a few ships, so there [i]are[/i] people living here. Couldn't tell where they were coming from, or went, though."

As it relayed what it had seen on the journey, Ultron idly moved around.

"I also saw a cluster of trees growing... impossibly big. The kinds that don't go for a stroll, mind, you. Now, if I had to think backwards, I'd consider the shelter that place provides a good place to built a village. Tactically sound, all things considered. So, if we're going to find people, it would be there."

Whitewood Forest

"I don't know how much help we can be, but there are some problems we could use your help with." the elf said, looking up towards the top of the massive tree. "How good are you all at fighting?"

 

[Silence]

Speedy was carried off the boat on the shoulder of some mystery person, but probably Robin, EMily or Matilda. He just looked at the elves.

Anik walked off the boat. Depending on previous circumstances, she might have gotten a Faotar buff - wavy lines on her arm - or not. ( :/ )
She clicked and did not fall over any roots, but arrived after the rest of the crew. She scanned the hearts of the elves. She did not think that highly of the place they had arrived, because there were probably massive amounts of creatures living in the forest.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager laughed at Ultron's "civilized" comment. "Couldn't agree more. As for impossibly big trees, you should see some of the forests from where I'm from. We should head that way, in that case."

Topaz perked up at the mention of fighting. [color=FFCC33]"We are the BEST at fighting! Me and Aqua can handle whatever enemy you tell us to, and the rest of these guys can make a nice distraction!"[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"I'm good at ranged combat. I'm also attuned to the nature of electricity, magnetism, and light."

Magic Eye stood to the side of EMily. She gestured to it.

"The floating metal ball is a construct used to help see things from afar and help map our way."

 

[Chungus]

"I don't have a answer for why you shouldn't from a practical standpoint, this time", Timea admitted, shaking her head a little. "I just think a prey should be handled with respect. After all, it's a life lost, all ties it had to others, severed like that", she added, pausing to snap her fingers for emphasis. "There isn't a practical reason to pay respects. But is there a reason not to?"

, Ultron responded, having two drones lift it up again, and the other two move ahead.

"Are your trees the size of skyscrapers?"

It questioned after being lifted into the air, idly pointing towards the Whitewood trees as much as it was able while held, if the trees were visible from where it and Yeager were.

The village of Doom
The Terminator looked around at the assembled crowd, assessing each and every one of them with a cold stare. It then spoke again, though less loudly. "Who do you consider your leader?" It asked, with the same emotionless voice that it always seemed to use. While it waited for an answer, it looked around once more.

The road
You tell Rebecca that you're headed north, to the city that I can't remember the name of. From there you are not quite sure. With a slightly guilty smile you say that you weren't expecting company on this trip, and thus you haven't planned far ahead.

There would be no more sign of the vengeful rabbit, for now. If it intended to attack the two hunters, it was not right now.

"I fought every slaver in Paradise Falls, and fought a literal army with me and five other people. I'm obviously underqualified." she said, sacrasm oozing from her voice.

Whitewood Forest

Anik would find that the pair of elves were approximately in their late 20s, and were both quite charitable and diligent, but also very wrathful. Their hearts would also be significantly different from human hearts, due to them being elves.

When Topaz stated his skill at combat, the elf smiled. "Perfect. There is a group of elves, living near the top of the tree. They forced us from our homes, reducing us to living here on the forest floor, killing for food and abandoning our gods' gifts." he said, his tone clearly quite angry. "We want to return home, but they will fight back. And so, we will need your help."

Due to their immense size, the trees would indeed be visible to Ultron and his drones from the edge of the forest.

Village

The Terminator would sense slightly high heart-rates among most of the gathered people, due to fear. One person stepped forward and said, "Our leader is King Calidyne." he stated.

"That's alright, we can figure it out as we go." Alain told Shara. "So, uh, run into anyone else we know? And what's this world like?"

Yeager started following the Ultron brothers. "I'm not exactly sure what a skyscraper is, but in remote corners of my world where people dare not tread are forests where the trees are so large that the roots are as wide as roadways, sometimes bigger, that reach impossibly high heights.

"I'll talk to them- We might not have to fight to get your home back. Either way, I'm willing to help you get back home, but, understand, I would prefer that nobody dies. So if this is a lie to get us to do your dirty work, pray to that your god, for I shall rain fire down upon you that has not been seen since the dawn of time." she said, slipping out some sort of chinese assult rifle.

 

[Silence]

"What are your gods gifts, if you don't mind me asking? And what motivation did these elves have to drive you out of your home?" Anik asked.

I hate elves, she thought, looking forward to killing some of them.
Then, as Sally spoke, Oh god, not another nutjob again.
