"I see", Timea responded a moment after Sibylla finished her story. She imagined that with her and Kuku having moved worlds, those left behind in the village were dying of disease once more. The mental image didn't elicit much sympathy in her. "Well... now that you've moved on, can you get out from this pact? Turn back to what you were before?" she questioned.

"I can say the same thing. I'm still not very fond of the idea of living here for the rest of my life, but it's at least an improvement on where I came from.", Timea agreed. "I do how non-human people live, though."

Robin went downstairs, securing Sally's weapons. He carefully sorted them out, attatching a giant "DO NOT TOUCH" sign.
"Perhaps, if the conditions are right." said Yeager, who didn't want to start thinking that far ahead due to the string of misfortunes that had already set him back.

When Ultron and Yeager landed outside Vala, they would see the temple's spire from behind the grey city walls. Vala would seem smaller than Calibeth City and Palladein, and resembled a fortress more than a city.

"Well, you have a point there." Anik said, not having expected Cybil to actually never have seen someone die. "So, I don't know what I should do in this case. Do you think you will be alright with that, do you want to describe what happened, so you can process the trauma. Or should we do something to distract us?"

As Yeager approached the gate, he would see two soldiers outside. Both of them crossed their halberds in front of the gate, stopping Yeager from entered. "State your name and business in the city." one of them ordered. Yeager might notice that, while one guard had the same brown skin tone he had seen before, the others' skin was a slightly dark grey.
The repeating dialogue answered two of Sally's questions, and the lack of a change in what the voice said suggested that the tree wasn't going to be responding any time soon.

Topaz frowned briefly as he saw Cybil upset, and thought of how to cheer her up. He changed back into his Werewoof form and laid down on his back right next to her, inviting her to pet him.
Yeager gave an elegant bow to the two guards. "Greetings gentlemen, my name is Yeager. For a long while I have been traveling the lands, but alas I'm not as young as I once was, so I've come here to try and start up my own business, my father was a weapon and armorsmith you see. I was hoping to speak to the leader of this fine city to see about permits and other such legal hurdles, you know how it is. You may search me if you wish, I am unarmed."

One of the guards approached Yeager and searched him for weapons, then allowed him into the city. "The northern ward is off-limits to civilians." the guard informed Yeager before he could enter Vala. Vala itself had various smiths, fletchers and leatherworkers, all working on pieces of armour and weapons. The buildings were all stone, and had been built for function rather than form.
Additionally, while Palladein, Calibeth City and Hannamar each had the temple in the centre, Vala's temple was in the western area of the city. There were two buildings on the left and right of the temple, one of which bore the symbol of Avinah above its entrance. The other had an infinite knot carved into the door.
