Yeager would see the inn had a bar, where a couple of the villagers were sitting, drinking. He would hear them discussing rumours of what had happened to Calibeth City.

Yeager and his 2 mooks walked up to the bar. "Pardon me, is this Femesh Daer?" he asked the barkeep. He also listened in on the rumor mill, seeing if anything particularly interesting was being said.

"Steel will do, but we will also need powerful electromagnets in order to create the field. A suitable chamber for the unit is also required, to protect it from the elements and the locals." - The Terminator said to Ultron.

 

[Wackymon]

The robot nodded, as it followed Robin.

The villagers stared at Yeager like he was an idiot, before one said, "No, that's a little bit further north. And larger. And on the coast."

"Making the electromagnets shouldn't be a problem... but the chamber. It should probably be somewhere remote, to get away from prying eyes... but close by enough that we wouldn't have to spent days waiting to have materials moved over... "

Ultron was quiet for a moment as it thought on what might make for a suitable location, then asked,

"How large would the room need to be?"

Anik followed Robin and the others out of the town, on the road to Hannamar (because I say so now), walking quite a long distance behind all of them.

Robin noticed Anik trailing behind them. "You OK back there?"

"A chamber ten metres in diameter with a five metre ceiling should suffice. The unit will short-circuit after one usage, but that will be enough to notify Skynet. Supplies required to build a permanent unit can be sent along with reinforcements from Skynet."

 

[Silence]

Anik answered Robin after thinking a bit: "... I don't know. Just ... keep walking, I'm following. It's probably nothing."

EMily continued on with the rest, a little bit satisfied that she had an interesting discussion with the locals. She put her hands in her apron pockets as she relaxingly walked alongside Magic Eye.

"Great, thanks... so vhat's the deal vith that old house on the hill?" he asked.

"Should be easy enough to get. I've been trying to get a meeting with whoever is in charge, there. I'll ask about getting all these requirements, then"

, Ultron commented, pointing over its shoulder to Vala with its thumb upon mentioning it.

It then thought on the displacement unit being a one-way trip meaning taking it to meet Skynet being a risky endeavour, one it wasn't sure it wanted to take.

"Now, about reinforcements... if these are going to use the locals for slave labour, I'll have to to ask to take this plan of action. At least, not right away. I'm sure I can get the people to hand over resources in return for security. I think we can agree this would be easier, if nothing else."

"If it's bothering you, it's not nothing."

"That's not a house. That's an old church or something, from before the conquest." the barkeeper replied. "It's been slowly falling apart for years now. People used to maintain it, using it as a temple for newer gods, but eventually just gave up."

After a moment's pause, the Terminator replied; "I cannot dictate strategy for Skynet operations beyond my objectives. Once contact with Skynet is achieved it is possible that I will be replaced. I can only speculate on Skynet's plans and with my relatively simple CPU it is likely that I do not see all the possibilities that Skynet does."

 

[Silence]

"It's not ... I seem to feel hearts even stronger. But ... it's almost painful. I don't know why this is happening. I don't want it to. I only got confused by all of the people in the town." Anik said.

"Can you repress your power?"

 

[Silence]

"No ... not really. I can numb myself to it. But ... I don't think you want a constantly drunken girl with you."

"Oh really? Don't suppose anyone vould mind if I took a look inside?"
