Code:
"Hmm. Well, I guess I'll cross this bridge when we get there"
, Ultron stated, shrugging slightly. It had to think on if it wanted to risk taking the trip without the possibility of extraction.
Code:
"In the mean time, how about you show me your face. If we're going to be working together, let's not be cloak and daggers about things."

Yeager thanked the barkeep for the info and left. Unless stopped, he headed to the old church, observing its exterior on the way.

His mooks followed, crates included.

"I said you could decide." Alain replied to Shara as he moved to follow her or the caravan. "At least I think I did... Anyway, I'm in."

"I don't think so. I can't even keep my ears shut against it." Anik moaned.

Yeager would see that the building was made of grey stone, like the other buildings in the village, with wooden beams and floorboards inside. The main building was rectangular, with three circular rooms on the eastern end, in a trefoil arrangement. On the inside of the building was a lot of dust, and an altar-like object, which was crumbling. Yeager might note that the altar, which was cylindrical in shape, had a bowl-like section at the top.

Yeager might also see carvings in the altar, floor and walls. With some examination, he might guess that the carvings were tendrils of some sort, or perhaps vines, reaching out from the centre of the altar bowl.

Hannamar

After a few hours, the group would reach Hannamar, on the northern edge of the desert.

"How very important looking..." remarked Yeager to no one as he went to investigate the three other rooms.

Robin, who had been reading his tome en route, looked over Hannamar as best as he could given the low light.

Anik felt that she was approaching Hannamar, by sensing the hearts of its people. She caught up to the group, feeling a little better because of the quiet she had on the road. She asked Robin what he saw, then approached the first still standing person, hoping it might be a guard of some sorts:
"Greetings. Pardon me, but we are not from here. What can you tell me about this city? Does it have some kind of specialty?"

EMily kept up her night vision as the group travelled through the hot darkness of the desert. Magic Eye continued its recording of the surrounding area with an infrared laser.

Yeager would find that two of the rooms contained beds lined up against the walls, while the third room had a desk, chair and shelves filled with old books. The furniture in all three rooms had the same markings as the walls and floor, still visible despite the wear and tear of the ages.

Robin would faintly see the temple, poking up over the walls, illuminated by fires that had been lit in the streets below it.

The guard Anik had approached shook his head, not noticing the blindfold in the dim light. Luckily for Anik, he also said, "Not really, it's just a city. Travelers stop here on their way north from Palladein, but that's about it."

Yeager investigated the desk and the books, seeing if anything unusual or important looking caught his eye.

Central Palladein - 13:09 AM

After roughly two hours of laying in place, tossing and turning, Timea stood up, feeling she rested sufficiently. Picking up, Timea tied the flaming blanket around her waist, happy for the alternative to freezing to death, but intensely displeased by needing to rely on it. Blowing a sigh, she walked out of the room, into the main hall of the temple.

Robin described the city to Anik, then asked the guard. "I assume that temple is for the sun God?"

OoC: @Nailik: Timea can either have the blanket on all the time or turn it on by touching it and off by letting go. Either way she would feel the heat but not suffer any damage.

"All right, thank you. How long is it from here to Vala?" Anik asked further, after she had thanked Robin for his description.

"It is," the guard said to Robin, before looking at Anik and replying, "It's not too far to the east. Less than an hour by foot."

Yeager would find nothing interesting about the books. He might, however, find the books to be interesting. All of them were religious texts, most of which had been damaged by time and the weather. Reading the books would tell Yeager about rituals of a deity known as 'Etovydumyvayu'. If he had read the same ritual book as Robin, he would see similarities in the rituals, however this book had no mention of Calibeth, Avinah or Faotar.

"All right." Anik said, then turned to Robin:
"So, do we have any business here or should we just keep on walking towards Vala?

You can read me the stuff about the sun god on the way, I forgot to ask earlier."
