"It's too bad you don't just have a pile to glide on, then there wouldn't be any problems with you falling at all." Hillary said, comparing her normal legs to human legs.

"There's some shops selling those things. There's a couple of Vesh'Rah in the area, most of them out in the farms. And this city isn't that special. It's not a major trading city or anything." the man replied.

"I guess you couldn't wear them if you had a pile." Hillary agreed. "Is shoes kinda the same thing with other clothing then? Legs were hard enough to learn to walk on before, but then you gotta walk on extra stuff after that?"

"Well, in some way it is the same thing as clothing. In some cases, boots alone can make people react differently." Anik explained, smiling again, "But if we humans just walk on our feet all the time, it can hurt fast. Especially if it is a rocky road or something. So boots are also there for protection."

"I fear you need to be my eyes again, searching for a fancy shop for some mantles against the cold, and some scarfs, possibly, to hide my face. ... If you want, you can take me by the arm, Timea, it will be much faster this way." She did not really like the prospect of Timea leading her, but for practicalities sake, it was pretty much the only option.

"Yes, I did~" Timea said as she let out a small laugh with Hillary. "But on the topic of legs, you adapted to them remarkably well, Hillary! It took me many years to learn how to properly walk like this, and I still can't run very well. So the progress you've made is impressive."

"Well, why don't you try and come up with a creature?" Timea suggested. "One that... let's say, lives in rocky areas."
When Anik finished speaking to the citizen, and asked to be lead around, Timea considered making a joke, but noting Anik was embarrassed enough, already, kept herself from doing so. "One moment", she responded, then recalled Robin explaining how to deactivate the fire, and did so. After, she announced, "Touch incoming, then", and hooked her arm around Anik's free arm.
Even without the fire active, the heat lingering in Timea's body made her extremely hot to the touch. "Are you uncomfortable like this? Physically, that is", Timea asked, aware of the heat.

Anik waited until Timea had hooked her arm around her arm, and did not flinch when feeling the heat. She answered: "You are still very hot. It is fine for now, but it could hurt in the long run ... maybe you could just touch my elbow with your hand, and lead me this way?"

"Oh, then maybe you should keep wearing the shoes then. I don't want your feets to get hurt." Hillary said with some concern, looking down to Anik's feet. When she was being praised however for her adaptability, Hillary smiled widely and shimmied her torso in an excited fashion. "I guess I have!~ It's really hard to walk with them sometimes though, you gotta look at both of them doing different stuff."

"Okay!" Hillary said happily, then started to think about what a rocky creature would be like. She thought for a bit longer before she saw Timea helping Anik out. "Oh oh, let me help too!" Hillary asked somewhat quickly but as politely as one could manage in this situation. Hillary would be on the opposite side of Anik as Timea was, and her rocky surface would easily be within reach.

"It would be better to feel how to move your legs, then to do it by watching them. Next time we stop to rest, you might want to practice walking around with your eyes closed", Timea suggested. "After looking where I put my feet, and walking like that, that's how I learned to walk, too."

"My hand won't be any cooler than the rest of my arm, I think, Timea responded, gently pulling her arm away. "Maybe it would be better if Hillary lead you, while following me." she suggested, letting out a soft and short chuckle as Hillary offered to help. "Just like that."

"All right, we can try that. If you are fine with it, Hillary." Anik said and switched her cane from one hand to another, waiting for Hillary to grip her arm. Oddly enough, she was not overly happy about this solution, thinking it might be slower instead of faster, but it was at least worth a try.

"Of course I am!" Hillary answered back before grabbing Anik's arm pretty gently. It was strange though, as Hillary's body bended for her, but it wouldn't give for Anik's, given its still rocky material. "That's not too tight is it?" Hillary asked with a bit of concern. Additionally her body would be pretty cool, as any normal stone would be, although the heat from Timea had increased Hillary temperature marginally.
"No, it's completely fine." Anik said to Hillary with a smile, then turned towards Timea: "No ... not really. I could still wander through this city without a problem, and ask my way around towards a shop. But that would take a lot longer than what we are doing now.

"We'll keep it a secret, then no one will know." Hillary promised Anik in regards to her wanting them not to bring much attention to her blindness. Once it was said, Hillary looked up to Timea. "Alright Timea, let's go find some pretty clothes for Anik then~" She commanded, shaking Anik's arms a little in her anticipation.
"Of course. Let's get going", Timea said, then began walking further into the city, her eyes scanning around for clothing stores. As she walked, she said, "I hadn't much of an idea how much difficulty you have finding your way, before. After all, I had only seen you walk, once. But in that one time, you didn't seem to struggle. Add to that that you're armed - I can only think that fighting without sight must take an immense amount of awareness." Timea spoke with consideration, even respectfully, although she still didn't show any facial expressions.
"For what it's worth, I do admire how you cope your blindness."
Anik would sense that, although Timea's overall feelings towards her weren't changing, she was speaking sincerely.
