Anik smiled at what Hillary said, thinking that keeping it a secret would probably be a hard thing with a blindfold on."Choose the right time and place, and it's not that difficult, actually. I'm assuming sighted people also need all their awareness for combat." she said, keeping her style of combat intentionally vague. "And please don't start with something like pity or an excess of admiration. But thanks anyway, I guess."

Walking, she would try to match the speed Timea was walking in, which could mean difficulty for the smaller and probably slower Hillary. Since Hillary walked on the side she had used her cane on, before, Anik did not use it, just held it straight in her other hand.

Hillary actually wouldn't have much of a problem keeping up with Timea in this particular situation. She did need to do a fast walk to keep up, but surprisingly with her focused on where Timea was going, she didn't have time to stop to look at her feet at all.

It wouldn't take long before Timea would spot a store selling clothing, including things obviously designed for cold weather.

"For Shara's proseltasis... Metal arm thing. Cold metal on skin is kinda unpleasant, this might make it more bearable." Alain explained. "Or maybe he could do a flaming punch if she wants, I don't judge."

"Who said anything about pity? It's simply a case of credit where it's due, as that saying goes", Timea commented idly. She was about to say more, on another topic, but kept herself from it, when she saw the clothing store further down the path.

"Hmm. I think I found a store" she reported, beginning to walk towards the store. "When you're going shopping, I'm going to look into some things. Shall we meet by the gates when we're all done?"

 

[Zepherus14]

You mean the same gates we came through before, right?" Hillary asked for clarity. "Do you want me to come with you or..?" Hillary asked Timea, although really she was asking either of the gals who wanted she to come help.

Given the talks earlier, having Hillary try on some clothing would be a cool idea, although it might make the stay a bit longer.

 

[Silence]

Hearing Timea, Anik said: "All right, we meet at the gates. I can do this myself, Hillary. But if you want, you could watch me try stuff." With that, she clicked and moved into the store, holding the cane before her so as to not trip over some steps or something. She went straight to the first heart she sensed, and said: "Greetings. I'd like to buy a mantle for a trip north, and some scarfs."

"No, that's all right. You cab stay with Anik, if you want. Maybe you can try on some clothes?", Timea answered. She expected consumerist ideas being present to Hillary, and wasn't convinced Anik wouldn't try to poison Hillary against her, while she was away, but saw the former as near inevitable, and trusted Hillary's better judgement on the latter. "You have fun, now~"

With that said, Timea walked off. She approached the nearest Melthan, raising her hand to get their attention. "Excuse me?" she called out.

"Okay! Good luck Timea!" Hillary said before walking into the store Anik had gone into. Hillary would then meander for a short bit before finding Anik with whoever she was talking to. "Oh there you are Anik." She said quietly as to not disturb her talking with said person.

 

[Silence]

(Interim)

"That would be a splendid idea." Anik said, making sure that Timea knew the idea had come from herself, and not from Anik.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Robin had a thought, and Checked his coat for Speedy, suddenly panicking from the possibility the hamster had been crushed. "Speedy?!"

 

[Silence]

Speedy looked out of the coat, and said: "This was awesome! It did not make boom, but it still reminded me of home! Lasers! But I forgot to ask how this thing was powered." If someone could read a hamsters face, he would have a look of amazement, and just slight regret on his face.
Then he noticed Robins worrying face, and said: "What's wrong? Did something happen to someone?"

Robin heaved a sigh of relief. "I thiguht I might have hurt you. Are you alright?"

 

[Silence]

"No, I'm not hurt. I have warning things in my things! They would have told me when I had to run away!" Speedy said, and held his paws for Robin to see. Little mechanic/cybernetic parts would be visible, going alongside his inner arm.
"And I am alright. But I miss my girlfriend, and my family!"

Anik would be led to the clothes she had requested, so she could find a coat that fit. They would all be made of fur and, though Anik wouldn't see the difference, came in a range of colours from browns to greys.

The Melthan looked at Timea curiously, and said, "Yes?"

"Glad to see you're alright. And... I'm sorry..." He stroked Speedy's head lightly, trying to cheer him up a little.

"Uhh, are you implying that paying for some boring stuff to insulate it is better than a magical flaming fist made from a common stone?" Alain asked. "I don't think you have your priorities straight."

Anik felt the different coats, trying to find something especially warm and long, with a hood, and with a good quality to it. She picked some that would probably fit and, sensing Hillary, she said: "Do you see a difference to them? Which one of these do you like best?
... and do you want to try one yourself?"

Speedy let Robin stroke him, and rubbed his head a little on his hand. He said: "It's okay. You're also nice. And you want to find a way to get us back, right? So I am right where I need to be!"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Thanks. And yeah, I'll help you get back." Robin smiled.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well, that one has some spots on it, and that one's got some stripes." Hillary said, pointing at one or another. "I... don't really know? Um... this one looks kinda neat?" Hillary suggested grabbing one coat that seemed excessively fluffy.

"Do I wanna try one? Sure!" She said, looking at the selection around them. "Are they supposed to be that big though?" She asked, referring to all the coats that were adult sized for Anik.
