Not knowing about braile, Timea was very confused about something that would allow the blind to read, having no idea how this would go.

"There is nothing wrong about indulging bits of wishful thinking. Besides, we have some time", she responded, then paused for a brief moment. "As for what the wishes are, I'd say you should take it in small steps - Get a foundation before you build anything. Looking for a good site, with a community you can be comfortable in should be the first thing to look for, I think.

I wouldn't know what would allow you to read, but as far as other advancements are concerned... well, I don't think I need to explain what I think about that. But if this is something you really want in your life, I'm not going to scold you over it, just remember that every advancement comes at a price."

Leaving Veketta's city proper, Timea and Anik moved through the farmland.

Veketta - Day 6 - 07:18

"Yes, I think finding a community I can really like would be the first, and most important, thing.

And yes, I know that there are prices for advancements. I don't know what these are, every time. I kind of want to know about this, too. As for me reading - it's a real dream of mine, not being able to is one of the most limiting things I know. And Matilda said I could read by feeling the letters. I wonder how this works, exactly.

I would dream more about these advancements, but yes, I know what you think about it. Say, do you want to find someone to love - or, is this even something you would do? If I am allowed the question." Anik said.

Rebecca might notice that Yeagers 8 Red Eyes had stopped working and were looking in her direction. "...Right, and vhat, exactly, could you see?" asked Yeager.

Veketta - Day 6 - 07:19​

At Anik explaining she could read by feeling the letters, Timea imagined text on clay tablets, but being carved out, instead of carved in. This making a lot more sense to her than it being on paper, she settled on this, then moved on to think on other things.

At Anik's question, Timea wondered if answering would be getting too personal, deciding that keeping it shallow should be fine. "Well... in a manner of speaking? To give a simple summary of a complex subject: I can feel love for a significant other, but not the same as your kind would. With me, such love is temporary. There is no heartbreak involved in the separation, however - When the romance passes, the desire has been fulfilled."

She didn't answer if she was looking for love, but the question has left her feeling a little morose.

Veketta - Day 6 - 07:19

Anik smiled as Timea explained how she was going on about love, as it was something she knew, as well. "I know what you mean by your kind of love. I know that I talked about a longer-lasting love, but I know a kind of temporary love, as well. Without heartbreak. Well, sometimes heartbreak is felt by one party.

But, let's not talk about this any further. Are we getting close to our camp? I'm starting to get an urge for breakfast, as well."

You push the sword away with your foot, and then look up as the guard's reinforcements arrive. [color=0066cc]"Oh, hell."[/color] - You mutter before glancing around for some doorway you could escape through. Finding none, you instead look down at the surrendering guard. Robin rested, waiting for the next day to come. In the morning, or whatever counted as a morning in a land of endless night, he headed out back to the council meeting point.

Veketta - Day 6 - 07:20​

Timea doubted Anik's experiences and her own were alike in more then a just a minor way, but didn't contest it, not minding the change in subject. "Not yet, but we're almost there", she answered, speeding up her walking a little.

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:27​

Arriving at the the campsite after some seven minutes, Timea set the packages down. "Well, we're here. Let's eat." Sitting down, Timea unpacked the packages of meat she was carrying. Although not very well done, the meat had already been somewhat roasted by the heat of her flames. Timea didn't bother roasting them further, and began eating.

"You won't be able to eat the rest of the rabbit in this sitting, will you?" she asked after swallowing a bite, having gotten a good idea of how much Anik ate.

"Well, it can depend based on the specifics of the case, but normally some time in jail. No chance of execution or anything like that, if that's what you're worried about." the guard replied.

After spending a few seconds thinking about how to word her response, Rebecca said, [color=446ccf]"I saw a spider, and a bunch of humans. And you were one of the humans, though I doubt that's going to shock you."[/color]

Veketta - Day 6

When Robin reached the parliamentary building, he would again have his weapons confiscated. The front room was less crowded, with people going through the door at the back of the room. On the other side of that door, Robin would see stone halls, clearly carved into the mountain itself, leading to a number of side chambers.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager was a little confused. "...I thought you said you can see things other people can't... that seemed like a fairly normal observation..."

If allowed through, Robin would go to the stone hallway, trying to map the place out via analysing it and finding the meeting chambers.

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:27

Clicking, Anik found the cane and the place where she had buried the meat. She took the cane out, then started digging. "No, I don't think so." Anik answered. "Will it still be edible if I put it in one package, and take it with us?"

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:27​

"Without a doubt. It should still be edible for another two days. Maybe even a third, although by that point, it will start to taste different", Timea answered. "With that said, there are still parts that will decay quicker than others. Which do you think these are?"

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:27

"Hmm ... judging by what you said earlier, probably the organs, and stuff like it. Am I right?" Anik said, as she continued digging.

 

[Chungus]

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:28​

"You certainly are. You've taken all the organs in the gut, but there are still those in the head - namely the brain, and the eyes", she answered, then considerately, added, "... Although I'll understand if you don't want to touch the latter." After this, Timea paused, then continued speaking normally. "After the organs, the extremities will be the quickest to decay."

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:28

"Yes, I don't think I want to prepare or eat anything from the head." Anik said, starting to feel the rabbit-parts. "Alright, I will remember this. I was not sure if the meat on the body, or the extremities, would decay faster. Thank you."

Digging the meat out of the ground, Anik created a water glove, and started first to wash the dirt off her hands, then to wash softly wash the meat. "This is ... not ideal." she said, after she tried for a bit. "Are there still parts of dirt on the meat? I don't know about the squishy parts.

I should cook the meat again, right? Or is there some trick to it, if you heat it again?"

"Years, most likely." the guard stated. The other guards stopped advancing, not wanting their companion to be killed.

[color=446ccf]"It's not always seeing things other people can't. Sometimes it's just seeing things in a way others can't."[/color]

Veketta - Day 6

Robin would find the meeting chamber at the far end of the hall. When he approached it, he would be able to see through the open doors. The room was circular, divided in half by a wooden barrier a little more than half a metre tall. On one side of the room, nearest the entrance, were rows of benches filled with citizens. On the opposite half of the room were tables, with chairs behind them and various types of Vesh'Rah sitting in those chairs.
The Vesh'Rah behind the tables were all wearing pendants which would have an animal head-shaped piece of metal on the chain, similar to the one Robin would have seen on Ferren's belt the night before. The type of animal head on each pendant corresponded to the type of Vesh'Rah that person was; the foxes had fox head pendants, wolves had wolf head pendants and so on. The exceptions to this were Ferren, whose pendant was on the table next to him, and a group of priests and priestesses, who had moon pendants.

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:29​

"I'll take those parts off of you, then. Although you should at least take the tongue, it's a lot of meat", Timea mentioned in response stating she didn't want to eat anything from the head. She quietly continued her meal as Anik began washing hers down, watching the process.

When Anik asked further questions, Timea let out a "umph" to indicate her mouth was full, answering after swallowing. "This not being ideal is another reason why it's good to live by running water~ Although you should mind where. If there are any predators living in the waters, they'll be attracted by the blood. A little note, for the future.

Anyway. Not on the parts you'll be eating, now. Since you won't be eating the hide, it's fine. You should roast the parts you'll eat, and haven't been cooked, already. If ever you have something that has been cooked already, just warming it up by holding it further away from the fire than you normally would will do."
