Veketta - Day 5 - 20:52

"But then I can not use it anymore ..." Anik said, wondering what Timea was thinking. She then held out her hand to feel for the last bit of rain, and, realizing there was none, answered: "No. I will be fine from here."

She deignited the blanket, and let it go. She then began clicking again, like she was used to. "Rain is just the worst." she commented, in between clicks.

Veketta - Day 5 - 20:52​

Timea wasn't sure why using the sword to cut the stick would make it worse for wear, not knowing anything about sword maintenance, and wondered why Anik said she couldn't use the sword, as such. "Well, we'll look into this, tomorrow", she responded.

Once Anik held the blanket go, Timea said, "Actually, maybe you should hold on to the blanket, for now. Sleeping in all the wet furs in this cold couldn't do you much get, and having the blanket around you will do more to keep you warm than just being as close to the fire as you can manage."

Veketta - Day 5 - 20:52

As Anik had meant she could not use the cane anymore, if it was cut, she was quite confused by what Timea was talking about, but kept quiet, as it would be understood as time went by.

"Are you sure, Timea?" she answered. "I can create more than one fire, and you obviously need the heat as well."

 

[Chungus]

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 20:53​

"Well, I can just move as close to the fire as I'd like without getting burned, so I can still get heat from it, like that. And your fires don't burn continuously, do they?" Timea asked.

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 20:53

"No. ... Alright, if you say it this way, we can do it." Anik said, and felt for the blanket to pick it up again. She decided to reignite it right then and there.

Femesh Daer - Day 4

The guard stayed still, not approaching Shara, or backing away. "You match the description of someone wanted in the south, for attempted murder." he stated.

Finding herself at a construction site, and not seeing anyone following her, Rebecca decided to sit down and watch, curious about what was being built there. She noticed the robots, which made her even more interested in the building and its owner.

Veketta - Day 5

Robin and the others would see that the inn was as diverse as the city outside was, with Vesh'Rah of all types there.

Timea would see and smell some livestock in the farms around the city, primarily cattle.

Robin chuckled to himself at the thought he may stand out here more for being human than he did as a mage in Calibeth, then sought out the innkeeper or barkeep, whichever was closer. "Hello there. I'm a traveller with something to ask, if I may."

Rebecca would likely notice Yeager directing the construction. Yeager wouldn't immediately notice Rebecca, as long as her sitting spot was out of the way of the workers.

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 20:53​

Seeing the cattle, Timea licked her lips. Her thoughts then went to what the best way of stealing one of them would be, where she considered that with the terrain, she would have to fly a cow away a good distance before she was out of sight of probably prying eyes, which would leave her companions alone, and open to be attacked.

With this in mind, she begrudgingly abandoned the idea.

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 21:03​

After another ten minute walk, Timea and Anik returned back at the camp site. There, after letting out a small yawn, Timea sat down. "Okay. I'll take the first watch for the night. Good night, Anik, Hillary."

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 21:03

As they arrived at the campsite, and Timea announcing to take the first watch, Anik felt for a comfortable spot to lie in, covered herself in the blanket, and began snoring not long after murmuring "Good night." as well, the day having her exhausted this much.

Her sleep was restless and plagued by nightmares.

Eventually, after some five and a half hours, she woke up, startled, listening to her surroundings until she calmed down again. She tried to go back to sleep, but failed to do so. Grumpily, she whispered:
"Timea? I can't sleep anymore, you can go to bed now. I will keep watch."

You swear under your breath, then turn around. [color=0066cc]"Look, you seem like a decent fellow, I'd hate to fight you. But if you don't let me go now, I wont have much of a choice."[/color]

"I'm afraid I can't do that. You're a potential threat to the city." the guard stated. Though he presumed Shara had stalked Yeager across the Empire to try killing him again, he wanted to avoid explicitly stating Yeager was in the city, in case Shara's presence there was pure coincidence.

Rebecca would indeed stay out of the way of the workers, but her clothing and skin tone, which was browner than that of the locals, would make her stand out if Yeager ever glanced in her direction. After sitting and watching the construction go on for a little bit, she noticed the differences between Yeager and the locals, and took a wild guess that he wasn't from this universe. Her left eye again gained extra pupils, allowing her to see the souls of everyone in her line of sight, Yeager included.

Veketta - Day 5

The barkeeper looked at Robin for a couple of seconds, before saying, "You don't say. What do you want to know, traveler?"

After a few more hours, shortly before Anik woke up, the rain in Veketta would ease off and stop, the clouds dispersing.

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 26:30​

While standing watch, positioned herself close to Anik, quickly starting to feel uncomfortable being such, but trying not to think about it too much. Over the course of her watch, Timea noticed Anik's restless sleep, and wondered what was going through her mind.

Although doing nothing but sitting still for quite some time, Timea didn't get antsy, the time not feeling like much to her, she started having trouble staying awake after five hours. When Anik awoke half an hour later, Timea blew a relieved sigh. "Ah, good. I was just about to wake you up. Good night." Too tired to make a witty remark on that there were no beds around, Timea closed her eyes, and fell asleep, not long after.

She would sleep for eight hours, unless awakened before that point.

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 5 - 26:30

Anik quickly lost track of time, as she was absorbed in thought. Even though she sometimes had the feeling of drifting off, she never really did, the hearts of the others burning in her sense. Some time she used feeling the ground as profoundly as possible, some time she used to start trying to dig a hole out of boredom, some time was spent crying, for no reason she was aware of, and at last she trained control over her water magic. She tried to create an orb before her, but could not know if she succeeded. So she instead tried to create different shapes around her hand, feeling them with her other. At one point, she used whatever water she created, to wash herself from top to bottom, getting close to Timeas blanket to dry, after.

When Timea awoke after eight hours, Anik was lost in her own imagination, thinking up stories. Hearing Timea wake, she said:
"Good morning - or whatever time of day it is."

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:00​

Waking up, Timea got into a sitting position, unresponsive for a few seconds. After, she let out a fairly long yawn, then looked to Anik. "Hi... ", she responded, sounding somewhat cranky. Standing up, Timea began walking towards Veketta. "First things first, I need food. Let's go."

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:00

"Uh ... alright." Anik said, and felt for her things as fast as she could, taking them with her as she followed Timea, stumbling a bit before finding her pace.

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:11​

Walking towards Veketta, Timea was glad to see the rain had stopped. She moved at a brisk, although had the mind to slow down when entering the city, some eight minutes later. Making her way to the butchery she found the day before, she said, "hmm... I really hope they're open, yet."

As she walked, Timea sniffed the air, sniffing for the scents of freshly cut meat. She also looked over how active the streets were.

"I know humans aren't quite accepted her in Vesh. Is there anything I should know to make sure I don't offend, or things to watch out for?"

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 6 - 07:11

While she had no problems, Anik fell a bit behind when Timea walked as briskly, relying on her echolocation. Catching up in the city, she answered Timea: "They should. Or do they sleep for 20 hours here?"

She, as well, listened to the sounds of the street, if there was anything going on, or if there was some effect from yesterdays rain.

[color=0066cc]"I was simply going to get on the first boat to Vesh, but as you wish."[/color] - You say, drawing your sword. [color=0066cc]"I'll try to just knock you out, if I can."[/color]

You rush forward, leading with your left side. As you get close, you raise your prosthetic to shoulder-height and your sword to above your head. You pass* forward as you cut towards the guard's chest on his left side, then pass forward once more as you deliver a straight punch to his face with your prosthetic.

OoC: * Pass = Stepping forward while switching sides. So Shara started with her left foot forward, stepped forward with her right foot while attacking with her sword, then stepped forward with her left as she punched.
