"That sounds good. Better than I would expect." Anik said. She finally sat up, realizing she nearly had started falling asleep on the spot, and stretched.

After she had decided she had enough, she stood up and walked carefully over to Timea, leaving her cane and bag behind. "It really does smell good." she commented.

The man turned, lowering his hood so Shara could see his face. His skin was incredibly pale, save for runic tattoos along his bald head. "I am Quan Chi, the sorcerer." He gave a short bow. "Like I told you, I believe you have potential. But your... condition is holding you back. I can heal your body and mind."

In the time Anik did her stretches, Timea finished roasting the meat. When Anik came over, Timea twisted her torso to face Anik more, and held the piece of meat out to her. "Well, you can sink your teeth into it, now. It's done. Enjoy~"

After handing the piece over, Timea began roasting meat for herself. "Just say if you want some more."

"Thank you." Anik said, clicked and took the meat. She sniffed it, and sat herself down next to Timea, then bit into it. She found the taste weird at first, but got used to it soon enough.

In between bites, she said: "You were right. It kind of tasted like the sea. Well, still not my favourite, but it is a lot better than the organs."
She kpt on eating, realizing how hungry she had been.

"I hope to gain an ally." Quan Chi said, completely calm. "I am searching for magical artefacts and would ask for your assistance. In return I would restore and enhance you. You may refuse if it is what you truly wish, but surely the fact I have granted you freedom earns me some trust?"

Hopefully, we'll be able to get you some fruits and vegetables to go with your future meals, though", Timea said on hearing what Anik thought of the meat, letting out a small, stifled chuckle. "Hmm. With that said, what are these "strawberries" you asked Akatarra about?"

The Doctor would be disarmed, if he had any weapons on him, then led to an office, which had Kerras' name on the door. When he entered, he would see the wolf behind the desk, who let out a small groan when he saw the Doctor.

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 17:29

"Yes, I kind of miss these. Even vegetables, even though I did not really like them, but fruits ... apples, pears ... and strawberries, these are also a kind of fruit. A lot smaller than apples, but much sweeter and with a very good taste. They don't have a core, but tiny dots on them. And apparently they are very red if they are ready to eat. Others would get excited just from the sight of them.
Probably the thing that was taken most from the kitchen, even though we did not prepare it for ourselves. I can't say I blame the others.

If Hillary can eat them - I don't really know how this works with her - I'm sure she would like them. They are like candy, only they grow, and are not made by people." Anik said, dreaming of the taste of strawberries.

Having finished her meat, she swallowed the last bits, then said: "I can't believe it. I'm still hungry. Can I get some more?"

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 17:30​

"Ah! I know what you mean, now. I saw these growing a little to the west, on my homeworld", Timea commented after listening to her explanation of what a strawberry looked like, realising what it was. "But why ever are they called strawberries? Straw has nothing to do with the growing process?"

When Anik asked for more, Timea playfully said, "Oh? You finally have build up a bit of an appetite, have you?" and gave Anik a small poke on her belly, although with the thick winter coat, probably wouldn't feel much of this. "I'll get you some more, shortly."

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 17:30

"I have no idea what straw has to do with them. People can use words very weirdly. Who knows how they got the idea. Maybe the first strawberries were found in straw?" Anik laughed. "Actually it did already happen that I was imagining something on the word that was used, and found out only far later that it was something completely different."

She did feel the poke, but only very softly, so it was nothing that bothered her. "Yes, I had lost some appetite earlier, but with all this walking ... I could not keep this up much longer. I feel better ... and a lot more awake already. But I can wait, me nearly starving is not an issue after this piece."
