Veketta Area - Day 7 - 17:32

Anik felt Hillary snuggling up to her with her mind nearly asleep. She smiled, then did softly lay one hand over Hillary, as she was drifting off to sleep.

Her sleep was relatively quiet, even though she had some nightmares in the last phase.

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 25:32

Some 8 hours later, Anik woke, first confused, then remembering where she was. Wanting to stand up, she felt a weird form between her arms.
"Hmm?" she made quietly, still half asleep, and felt it more, without really getting what it was. At least until she remembered Hillary snuggling up to her.
"Hillary?" Anik said, first silently, then louder. "Hillary, are you alright? Why are you this way?"
She felt more, then shook her a little, slightly panicking. "Hillary?!"

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 25:32​

After wishing her companions goodnight, Timea spent most of her time eating, not rushing this now that she had plenty of time. Eating some 600kg worth of meat, this left one seal completely consumed, and the other with less than a quarter left. What remained, Timea burried, and the bones she picked clean, she buried further away from the campsite. The remainder of her watch, she spent looking at non-specific things, and taking small walks around the campsite, to keep herself awake.

By Anik woke, Timea sat nearby, and looked to Anik as she started panicking. "...What ever is wrong?" she asked, used to seeing Hillary lose form when she slept, thus not noting anything out of the ordinary.

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 25:34

Hillary would be in a pretty deep sleep at the time Anik started shaking her, her body vaguely in her normal shape but more like a mound of dirt. When Anik shook and pushed her, it would take a minute for her to start wake up, and start reforming back into her normal woken self. With what seemed like the world's longest yawn, Hillary rubbed her eyes before answering back. "Mmmmm what is it...?" Hillary asked, still seemingly groggy. "Is it time, already?"

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 25:34

Realizing that Timea seemed to think nothing wrong, Anik calmed down again, and sat herself up. "She does not feel right. I ... was scared. But it is nothing, is it?"

Then hearing Hillary, Anik took a deep breath and then said:

"... I thought something was wrong with you. But ... everything is alright, I think.

... go back to sleep, Hillary, it is just my turn to take the watch."

With that, she felt for and stroked Hillary one time, then stood up.

"I'm really sorry for waking you."

"Mmmm, that's okay." Hillary murmured, not completely awake as she gave a hug to Anik herself. "I'm alright, just... *yawn* sleepyz." She answered, then slowly flopped back to the ground to continue her rest.

Depending on where Timea settled down to rest, Hillary would slowly gravitate towards her.

Veketta Area - Day 7 - 25:34​

"No, no. That's completely normal, Anik", Timea said, reassuring Anik. She watched Hillary settling close to Anik, and sleepily smiled a little. After, she curled up, some two paces away from where Anik was sitting. "I'm going to sleep, now. Good night."

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 07:05​

Timea awoke after some nine hours of sleep. First stirring, her eyes slowly opened. When mostly open, Timea let out a small yawn, getting up in a sitting position. Somewhat slow, she looked around to see how her companions were doing.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 07:05

Anik was sitting at a fire, a few metres away, listening to her surroundings. She had taken off her blindfold, and some water did show on her face, which she had used to wash away some tears.

When she heard the yawn, she turned towards it, smiled, put out the fire and walked over slowly.
"Good morning." she said.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:05

Hillary had tucked up pretty close to Timea once she'd fallen asleep. However, picking up on Timea waking up and having slept more than enough for herself, she slowly built herself up again. After a long pause, she stretched her arms with a big yawn. "Good morning~" She replied.

 

[Chungus]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:05​

"Heeello, you two", Timea said happily, but still groggily, as Anik and Hillary greeted her. "Did everyone get a good night's sleep?"

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:05

"I did sleep well, earlier." Anik said, and walked up to Hillary, to hug her.
"I'm sorry again for waking you in the night." she said quietly.

"Yes, it was really nice." She answered back happily to Timea, looking up to Anik as she gave her a hug from behind. "Aww, that's okay Anik. I know you didn't mean too to be bad." Hillary giggled and hugged Anik's arms.

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:05

"Thanks." Anik said, and cuddled Hillarys head.

After she let go, she turned to Timea: "Alright, where do we want to go now?"
At the same time, she also took the blindfold out of her pocket and put it back on.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:05​

"That's good to hear. I slept well, too", Timea mentioned as Hillary and Anik answered. When the two hugged, Timea let out a small giggle, then stood up, and stretched a little.

"Hmm. Let's go south-east, to Oo-taran-nah. But before that, shall we go through your exercise routine?"

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:05

"I already did some of it, but sure, we can do more. ... It's probably also a few hours after I did it."

That said, Anik got on the ground, and felt herself a nice spot to do some push-ups.

The doctor then slammed his fist onto the table. "Tell me who helped you! I know if you could've gotten to Calibethan royal line you would've done it eons ago, you most of had help, tell me who it was now!"

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:06​

Timea encouraged Hillary to join Anik and herself in the exercises, then moved opposite the place Anik would choose, and placed her hands on the ground, there. Starting doing push-ups, Timea asked, "Is there anything I can do to make these more strenunous for me?" She then paused, and feeling a little embarrassed, added, "... Other than using one arm? I tried this, and just loose balance, and fall over."

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:06

Anik let out a laugh as she heard this. "Don't worry about it. It took me a long time to figure out how to put the arm in the right position.
But for now - the best thing would probably be if you would put some weight on your back. The rest of the seals, perhaps, if there is something. Or ... I don't know. But the important thing is not the weight or the strain itself, I think. If you repeat it often, you probably get tired in your arms soon enough.
Should we try ... 100 push-ups? I don't know if you would feel it, but probably yes."

That said, she prepared some fires around herself, then took off her coat and began doing the push-ups, with both hands for now.

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:07​

Hearing Anik laugh, Timea became more embarrassed, but didn't say anything about it. At the suggestion, however, she let out a "hmm", and said, "there isn't really a lot of that left. Besides, I don't really want to play around with food like that. So, I suppose repetition is key."

Pausing, Timea stopped doing push-ups, and smirked a little. "Shall we make this into a competition? Whoever reaches the 100 mark wins!"

You hear your killer speak, but only as a distant echo. Before your vision gives out completely, you see a familiar figure in front of you. Then the final warmth leaves your body as you die on a distant world, an impossible distance from home.

 

[Silence]

Veketta Area - Day 8 - 7:07

"Hmm ... alright, but no cheating!" Anik answered. "So, 100 from now on ... ready?

With that, she did started doing the 100 push-ups, counting it quietly. She did do it fast, but not too fast, so as to not accidentally trip, or straining herself too much too early.
